Schnute 생장함수를 이용한 오서산지역 소나무림의 지위지수 추정

본 연구의 목적은 충남 오서산지역 소나무림을 대상으로 전반적인 수고생장 패턴과 지위지수식을 추정하고자 한다. 조사대상 지역은 충남 보령시와 청양군 일대의 소나무림을 대상으로 총 7개소의 조사지를 선정하여 매목조사를 실시하였으며, 이 중에서 총 21본의 표본목을 벌도하여 원판을 채취하였다. 채취한 원판들은 1/100mm의 정밀도를 가진 정밀연륜분석기(Model : DTRS-2000)를 사용하여 1년 단위의 수고, 직경, 재적 등의 생장량을 계산하였다. 본 연구에서는 총 181개의 수고-수령 관측치를 사용하여 Schnute의 생장함수식에 적용하였고 일반적인 수고생장의 패턴을 추정하였으며, 또한 이를 이용하여 기준임령을 30년으로 한 동형의 지위지수 추정식을 유도하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 수고 및 지위지수 추정식은 충남지역에서 소나무림이 가장 많이 분포하고 있는 오서산지역 소나무림의 생장을 파악하는데 중요한 정보를 제시해 줄 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to estimate height growth pattern and to derive site index equation for Pinus densiflora grown at Mt. Osu region, Chungnam. A total of 21 repre- sentative trees from the established temporary plots around Boryeng and Cheongyang regions were destructively sampled to measure diameter, height, volume growth per 1-year interval by using of DTRS -2000 measurement instrument. The Schnute growth function was selected for height growth prediction using 181 height-age paired observations and derived anamorphic base age invariant site index curves (base index age 30 years). The fitted index and the asymptotic value of Schnute model indicated both 0.96 and 10.8 meter, respectively. The results suggested in this study could be very useful to understand the height growth pattern and productivity of the site quality on Pinus densiflora grown at Mt. Osu region, Chungnam.

The purpose of this study was to present practical approaches for developing site index equations and compare the results to those obtained from a generalized algebraic difference approach. Traditional estimation techniques for dominant height equations involve the random choice of observed growth intervals and base ages, where each combination results in a different set of parameter estimates. The traditional methods were affected by the choice of base age and measurement intervals. The baseage-invariant techniques produced identical results regardless of the choice of base ages or applied algorithm. The Chapman-Richards model was used in this study to develop site index equations for Pinus densiflora in the central region, Korea. The algebraic difference approach was used to derive an anamorphic base-age invariant site function that fit as afixed base-age anamorphic site function (base age = 30 years). The developed site index equations apply to central region Pinus densiflora plantations ranging in age from 3 to 50 years. The new site functions represent an improvement over earlier site functions because the new method accounted for serial correlation in the data.
충남 기후변화대응 전략개발을 위한 산림탄소상쇄 사업 활용

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the potential for activating forest carbon offset in Chungnam province. In order to propose the strategy, this study plan for short, long-term strategy on forest carbon offset. The forest carbon offset is composed of six types. The major contributor of offset project is owner of mountain, enterpriser, provincial government and the consumer was assigned enterprise of korean allowance units. It is necessary to actively cope with different motivations and institution of emission trading. So, to estimate the potential offset projects and analyzing the consumer and contributor proposed a consideration. Through thirty-year of offset project, it can be calculated 12,868 tCO₂/30yr, 3,510 tCO₂/yr carbon sequestration in forest in chungnam province. It is 0.031% of the GHG emission (41,036,591 tCO₂-eq) in Chungnam. The ration of carbon emission was showed that the afforestation/reforestation was up to 83.7% (12,868 tCO₂/yr) and forest recovery was 16%. Since the offset conducted by project basis, the results of this study can be used in potential assessment. And, it is possible to take advantage of the promotion.
임의효과를 이용한 충남지역 소나무림의 바이오매스 모형 개발

본 연구의 목적은 임의효과(random effect)를 이용하여 충남지역 임령-바이오매스 모형을 개발하고 임의효과의 적용성을 평가하는데 있다. 충남지역 소나무림의 임령에 따른 바이오매스 모형 개발을 위해 임분 구조를 고려하여 전국의 중부지방소나무 임분에서 30개소(150그루)를 조사하고 임령과 바이오매스 자료를 수집하였다. 모형 개발에서 중부지방소나무의 임령-바이오매스 관계는 고정효과(fixed effect)이고 지역간 차이를 임의효과로 설정하였다. 임의효과에 따른 모형의 적합도를 검정하기 위해 아카이케의 정보기준(Akaike Information Criterion, AIC)을 참고하고 지역간 차이에 따른 분산-공분산 행렬과 오차항을 추정하였다. 추정된 공분산은 -1.0022, 오차항은 0.6240이고 분산-공분산 행렬을 이용한 임의효과모형의 AIC는 377.7을 나타내어 선행 연구와 이질적인 차이는 없었다. 이러한 결과는 범주형 자료의 임의효과가 모형 개발에 반영된 결과로 판단된다. 본 연구의 결과는 임의효과를 이용하여 일부지역에 국한되어 개발되었던 바이오매스 모형연구에 활용이 가능하다. The purpose of this study was to develop age-biomass model in Chungnam region containing random effect. To develop the biomass model by species and tree component, data for Pinus densiflora in central region is collected to 30 plots (150 trees). The mixed model were used to fixed effect in the age-biomass relation for Pinus densiflora, with random effect representing correlation of survey area were obtained. To verify the evaluation of the model for random effect, the akaike information criterion (abbreviated as, AIC) was used to calculate the variance- covariance matrix, and residual of repeated data. The estimated variance-covariance matrix, and residual were -1.0022, 0.6240, respectively. The model with random effect (AIC=377.2) has low AIC value, comparison with other study relating to random effects. It is for this reason that random effect associated with categorical data were used in the data fitting process, the model can be calibrated to fit the Chungnam region by obtaining measurements. Therefore, the results of this study could be useful method for developing biomass model using random effects by region.
