        골격성 3급 부정교합 환자의 악교정 수술 후 설골의 위치와 기도변화에 관한 연구

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in the position of the hyoid bone and soft palate and the amount of airway space after bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (B-SSRO). Methods: This study is a review of lateral cephalometric tracings of 30 patients who underwent B-SSRO with setbacks at Kyunghee Dental Hospital from 2005 to 2009. Lateral cephalograms were taken before (T0), within one month (T1), and more than six months after the surgery (T2). Results: The hyoid bone at T1 changed significantly towards the inferoposterior position. At T2, it had significantly moved superiorly, but not anteriorly. At T1, the nasopharyngeal space, extending from the posterior nasal spine to the posterior pharyngeal space, decreased significantly, but did not show a significant increase at T2. The nasopharyngeal space, extending from the middle of soft palate to the posterior pharyngeal space, decreased significantly at T1, but did not show a significant decrease at T2. The oropharyngeal airway space decreased significantly at T1 and did not return to its original position at T2. The hypopharyngeal space, extending from the anterior to the posterior pharyngeal space at the level of the most anterior point of the third cervical vertebrae, slightly decreased at T1, but the amount was insignificant; however, the amount of decrease at T2 was significant. The hypopharyngeal space extending from the anterior to the posterior pharyngeal space at the level of the lowest point of the third cervical vertebrae, decreased significantly at T1 but returned to its original position at T2. Conclusion: B-SSRO changes the position of the hyoid bone and muscles inferoposteriorly. These change allows enough space for the tongue and prevent airway obstruction. Airway changes may be related to post-operative edema, posterior movement of the soft palate, anteroposterior movement of the hyoid bone, or compensation for decreased oral cavity volume. The position of the pogonion which measures anterior relapse after surgery did not show significant differences during the follow-up period.

        Synthesis of the Mn4+-doped MgO-MgF2-GeO2 phosphor systems for LED application

        A rare-earth free red-emitting MgO-MgF2-GeO2 : Mn4+ phosphors were synthesized and optimized for maximal luminescentintensity by the solid-state reaction. The excitation spectrum consists of two broad bands due to the Mn4+ ion, covering thewavelength range from 250~480 nm. The main peak of the excitation band is located at 420 nm. It provides pure red light,which is of 658 nm wavelength with narrow full-width at half-maximum of 15 nm upon 420 nm excitation. The luminescenceintensity of 3.5 MgO·0.5MgF2·GeO2 : Mn4+ could be enhanced by choosing proper flux of SrF2, in particular. The3.5 MgO·0.5MgF2·GeO2 : Mn4+ exhibits the Commission International de I’Eclairage (CIE) chromaticity coordinates of(0.7154, 0.2846). The white LED was fabricated by blending two phosphors of 3.5 MgO·0.5MgF2·GeO2 : Mn4+ and β-SiAlON : Eu2+ (green emitting phosphor) on the 420 nm emitting UV-chip as well as 450 nm emitting blue chip. Usual ColorRendering Index (CRI), i.e., the mean value of CRIs from R1 to R8, is 84.9 and its color gamut could be extended by 126.4%,comparing to sRGB.

      • RFID 냉장고를 이용한 개인질병관리 시스템 연구

        위 논문에서는 RFID를 기반으로 한 냉장고 관리 시스템을 통하여, 음식물 관리를 통한 개인 질병 관리 시스템을 구축하고자 한다. 먼저 마트에서 사온 RFID Tag가 부착된 음식물의 정보를 RFID 리더기를 통하여 정보를 획득하며, 획득한 음식물의 정보는 데이터베이스를 구축하고 구축된 음식물 정보와 사전에 입력된 개인 질병관리 데이터를 통하여, 현재 사용자에게 가장 알맞은 음식물과 주의해야 할 음식물 정보 등을 제공하며, 추가적으로 현재 음식물을 통해서 얻을 수 있는 새로운 요리법과 음식물의 현 상태 등을 사용자에게 언제어디서나 사용자에게 제공하고자 한다.

        본 논문은 새롭게 조사된 국립국어원의 말뭉치 정보를 이용하여 음절들의 발생확률과 조건부 확률 그리고 음절들간의 상관관계인 bi-gram을 조사하였으며, 이렇게 조사된 음절들의 조건부 확률과 음절 bi-gram을 이용하여, 문자인식 후처리 방법으로 문자 인식기로부터 인식된 음절 다음에 나올 음절을 추천해 줌으로써 필기체 인식에 필요한 비용을 줄이고 인식성능을 향상 시키고자 하였다.

        Web 경계를 허무는 새 시대에 맞추어 라이프스타일은 급속히 변화하고 있다. 가상의 3D 복합서비스는 현실과 다름없는 또 하나의 삶을 제공함으로써, 가상세계와 현실세계의 경 계를 없애고 있고 이전 많은 사람들이 제안하고 예상했던, 현실의 정보가 가상세계에서 또한 다름없는 데이터로 존재함으로써 가상세계와 현실세계 사이의 벽을 허물고 그 차이를 느끼지 못하도록 하는 연구를 하고자 하였다. 우선 손쉽게 제시할 수 있는 실험을 통하여 그 가능성을 판단해 보고자 하였으며. 간단한 예로써 현실세계를 대표할 모바일 장비와 가상 현실세계의 대표적인 예인 SecondLife 두 가지 시스템의 접목을 통하여 가상현실 세계와 현실간의 데이터 공유 환경을 만들고 정보를 공유를 통하여, 얻을 수 있는 장점들과 활용방안에 대하여 찾고자 하다.

        Material properties of the Ce3+-doped garnet phosphor for a white LED application

        The luminous flux of the phosphor-converted white-light-emitting diode (WLED) is correlated to the optical properties of a phosphor, such as the excitation band, emission spectrum, and decay time. Also, the crystallinity, particle size, and morphology may influence the device performance, such as the luminous flux, as well as the device longevity and efficiency. The device application of the Ce3+- activated Y3Al5O12 garnet phosphor was limited because of its strong patent. Its patent is set to expire in the year 2017, and the high-power operation of the WLED is becoming important. To obtain insights regarding its usability, Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ phosphor was synthesized through flux-assisted solidstate reaction. It was found that this garnet phosphor has a very stable crystal structure and is inert in the processing environment. Its quantum yield reached 95%, and no photosaturation was shown within the measurement limit. It was also found that the synthetic procedures are very straightforward and that the particle sizemaybe easily controlled. The luminous flux of theWLEDwasmaximum when 17.7μm D50 was used.

        상기도 폐쇄를 보이는 Pierre Robin Sequence 환아의 순차적 치료: 증례보고

        Pierre Robin Sequence (PRS) is known as an anomaly consisting of respiratory obstruction with glossoptosis, micrognathia and cleft palate in a newborn. The etiology of PRS is not known, but several factors may be involved simultaneously. Mortality rate of PRS is about 5~30% and the treatment method is divided into both conventional treatments and surgical interventions. If the respiratory obstruction is not resolved by the conventional method, surgical treatment, such as subperiosteal release of the floor of the mouth, tongue-lip adhesion, tracheostomy, distraction osteogenesis may be needed. This study reports a case of PRS in a newborn male at 20 days, with dyspnea and feeding difficulties. Clinical examination showed micrognathia with glossoptosis and cleft palate as the typical PRS triad. We tried surgical intervention with subperiosteal release of the floor of the mouth and tongue-lip adhesion and surgery was successful. At $19^{th}$ months, we also repaired the incomplete cleft palate successfully using 2-Flap palatoplasty.
