        구조방정식을 이용한 치과위생사의 감정노동과 직무특성이 직무스트레스와 이직의도에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: This study aims to alleviate dental hygienists’ job stress caused by emotional labor, lower their turnover rate, improve the working environment, and offer better quality of services by understanding correlations among emotional labor, job characteristics, job stress, and turnover intention. Methods: A survey was conducted in the subjects with dental hygienists who were working at general hospitals, dental university hospitals, and private dental clinics located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungnam by the convenience sampling method from June 1 through 30, 2017, and the collected data were analyzed using by SPSS Windows Ver. 22.0 (IBM CO, Armonk, NY, USA) and AMOS 21. As the statistical analysis methods, convergent validity test, structural equation model analysis and model goodness of fit were conducted using independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, path analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. Results: It turned out that the more dental hygienists’ deep acting of emotional labor and the more their workload of job characteristics, the higher their job stress got, and that the higher their job stress, the higher their turnover intention got. Conclusions: As a method of lowering dental hygienists’ turnover intention, they may resolve emotional disharmony with their own problem-solving method, but it is necessary to develop and support organizational culture for the improvement of working environment. Dental hygienists’ organizations should implement the measures to minimize their turnover rate and job stress level by allocating appropriate workload.

        치과코디네이터 업무 및 인식에 관한 조사연구 -치과의사를 제외한 기타 인력을 중심으로-

        To analyze dental hygienists and other manpower at dental care service institutions where a dental coordinator was working among about 200 dental care service institutions in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Incheon as of June 2005 for contents of training for dental coordinators, opinions of qualification of dental coordinators, present and future services provided by dental coordinators, and awareness of dental coordinators and to provide basic data about future services, roles, and cultivation of dental coordinators, a survey was conducted and 216 copies returned were analyzed, obtaining the following results. 1. 83.8 percent needed an educational program for dental coordinators as an educational content; 41.7% had awareness of the educational content; and 83.8 percent insisted that over the intermediate level of curricula should be taken. Dental coordinator cultivation institutions identified included the institution under the control of the Korean Dental Hygienists Association and the education center for the department of dental hygiene; 76.9% insisted that an appropriate qualifying examination should be necessary. They suggested the central government department and the local government as a certification institution; 39.4% insisted that financial support for the education should be provided by financing education alone. Only 28.7% experienced dental coordinator education and 73.1% hoped to serve as a dental coordinator. They were found to expect a rise in payment (64.4%) and in the title (46.8%) after completion of the educational program. 2. 66.2% saw a dental hygienist as the most appropriate for a dental coordinator; clinical career (39.4%) and practical capacity (29.2%) were suggested as requirements for a dental coordinator; and a period of over three years (47.2%) was suggested for appropriate dental career. 3. Dental coordinators` present services included `reservation management` for customer management, `staff service training` for organization management, `understanding of customer reception attitudes and actions` for self-management, `hospital information management` for hospital marketing, `acceptance` for hospital affairs management, and `hospital environment management` for hospital facilities management; their future services included `acquisition of ability to use a foreign language` for self-management, followed by `staff service training` for organization management, `training and counseling` for customer management, `acquisition of counseling capacity` for self-management, `complaining customer reception` for customer management, and `marketing strategy implementation` for hospital marketing. 4. After comparing dental hygienists and other manpower in terms of dental coordinators` future services, dental hygienists showed interest in `acquisition of ability to use a foreign language,` `staff service training,` `complaining customer reception,` and `acquisition of counseling capacity` while other manpower showed interest in `acquisition of ability to use a foreign language,` `document data management,` `acquisition of basic service manner,` `acquisition of counseling capacity,` `manpower management,` `establishment and evaluation of a marketing strategy,` and `education and counseling.` 5. As for awareness of dental coordinators, they were thought of as helpful in improving image of a dental clinic; it was found that continuous training should be necessary to develop dental coordinators` capacity; dental coordinators` services should be important and contribute to patients` qualitative satisfaction.

      • 전문대학 간호과 교재 내용 중 구강보건관련 내용에 관한 조사 분석연구

        학교의 보건사업을 위해 각 학교에 배치되어 있는 양호교사는 대부분 학교보건 업무 전체를 수행하며 학교 구강보건사업을 담당하고 있다. 양호교사의 올바른 구강보건지식 및 구강보건에 대한 역할과 인식은 학교구강보건 향상에 매우 중요하다고 사료된다. 따라서 양호교사의 교육기관인 간호대학의 교재 중 구강보건관련 내용을 조사, 분석하여 보다 효율적이고 체계적인 학교구강보건사업을 수행하는데 참고가 될 수 있도록 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 간호학과 교재 내용 중 구강 보건 관련 내용에서 잇솔질은 구체적인 방법이 제시되어 있지 않았고, 구강위생용품, 치아우식예방법, 치주질환, 부정교합, 불소, 치면열구전색, 식이조절, 구강보건교육 등이 개론적인 정도만 언급이 되었을 뿐, 구강보건전문인력으로서 필요한 임상과 지식을 갖추기에는 부족한 내용이었다. 2. 현행 초, 중, 고의 교과서 중 구강보건관련 내용과 간호대학 교재 중 구강보건 관련내용을 비교한 결과, 거의 일치하는 수준이고, 치과의원의 역할, 치아우식증의 진행과정, 영양소(무기질, vitamin)에 대한 구강 보건 관련 내용은 오히려 초, 중, 고 교과서에 자세히 제시되었다. 3. 바람직한 학교 구강보건내용과 간호대학 교재 중 구강보건 관련 내용을 비교해 보면, 중요한 내용으로는 잇솔질, 구강위생용품, 치아우식, 충치예방, 치주, 부정교합, 불소, 치면 열구전색, 식이조절, 구강보건교육, 치아와 그 주위조직, 치아맹출, 탈락, 치열, 수, 명칭, 구강의 구조 등은 거의 동일하나, 학교보건을 수행할 전문인력으로서 임상 및 지식을 갖추기에는 체계적이지 못하다. Nurse teacher, who is in charge of school health project in each school, mostly handles the overall school health affairs and coordinates school oral health project. Nurse teacher's correct oral health knowledge and right understanding of oral health role seems very important to develop school oral health. The purpose of this study was, accordingly, to serve as a basis for implementing more efficient, systematic school oral health project, by analyzing what's related to oral health in teaching materials used in college of nursing sciance, an institute to educate nurse teacher. The findings of this study were as below: 1. The teaching materials used in the department of nursing science didn't include a concrete method of toothbrushing. They were no more than an introduction to oral health, just mentioning oral hygiene supplies, dental caries prevention, periodontal disease, malocclusioi fluorine, pit and fissure sealing, diet cure, or oral health education. They weren't sufficient for student to have enough knowledge to be an expert oral health personnel. 2. As result of making a comparison of ther contents related to oral health between the teaching materials in college of nursing science and textbooks in elementary, middle and high schools, it's found that they were almost on the :same level. The oral health information on ther role of dental clinic, dental caries procedure and nutrient(minera1 and vitamin) was provided in more detail in the textbooks of elementary, middle and high schools 3. As a result of making a comparison between what's recommended as a desirable school oral health education and the teaching materials in college of nursing science, it's found that they were almost identical in key parts including toothbrushing, supplies, dental caries, dertal caries prevention, periodontal disease, malocclusion, fluorine, pit and fissure sealing, diet cure, oral health education, tooh and the periodontium, tooth eruption, shedding, dentition, number, name and oral structure. However, the teaching materials were so unsystematic that student weren't able to acquire sufficient knowledge.

        보건소 구강보건센터운영 활성화 프로그램 개발을 위한 델파이분석

        Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the oral health center operationand to activate the program development of public oral health center. Methods : Delphi analyses were utilized by the recruited expert panel from August to Septemberin 2012. Results : The difficulty in operation of the oral health centers is the human resources management. In order to solve the human resources operation, utilization of the local human resources is thebest choice of the solution. The next choice was the designation of the oral health expert inMinistry of Health and Welfare. So the expert can activate the public oral health care systemfor the disabled and the underprivileged classes in the long term. Conclusions : In order to activate the oral health centers, Ministry of Health and Welfareshould promote the public health center function connected with the cooperation of the Associationof dental hygienists.

        중,고등학생의 구강보건지식,태도,행동 및 교육요구도

        Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the oral health knowledge, attitude, behavior among 918 secondary students and their needs for oral health education in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and Choongbuk Province. Methods : The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS 18.0, and frequency analysis, correlation analysis, crosstabs, t-test and ANOVA were utilized. Results : The girls proceeded the boys in oral health knowledge, and the high school students were ahead of the middle schoolers in oral health knowledge, attitude and behavior. Those who ever received oral health education surpassed the others who didn`t in oral health knowledge and behavior(p<0.01). The students hoped to be provided with oral health education by dental hygienists during regular classroom hours once per semester, 30 minutes to one hour at a once, and their favorite ways of oral health education were videotape watching and practice. As for needs for oral health education, the middle school students had higher needs for that than the high schoolers, and the former`s needs scores were above the average(p<0.05). Conclusions : There were differences among the students in oral health knowledge, attitude and behavior according to their school system, gender and oral health education experiences, but oral health education was provided without taking their differences into account. It was recommended, efficient oral health education programs should be developed by focusing on how to take care of and prevent oral diseases, and videotape watching and practice that were preferred by the secondary students should be included in the programs.
