영남지방 돼지의 Bordetella bronchiseptica 감염상황 및 분리균의 생화학적 특성

The present study was conducted to investigate the Bordetella bronchiseptica infection in Youngnam swine herds during the period from August 1986 to July 1987 and some properties of the organisms isolated from these Korean swine. B. bronchiseptica was recovered from 25 of 70 (35.7%) glowing pigs of 4 to 10 weeks of age and from 12 of 13 (92.3%) herds. From 115 slaughter pigs, 58(50.4%) pigs were culture positive and the pigs from 13 of 14 (92.9%) herds were found to be infected with B. bronchiseptica. The majority of biochemical and cultural properties of B. bronchiseptica isolated from Korean swine were identical to those of the standard strain employed and some 97.6% of the isolates showed the characters of phase I organism on primary isolation.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate dietary habit and nutritional status by household income in female adults, using data from the $4^{th}$ Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2007~2009). Subjects were 8,356 women over the age of 20 years. The subjects were classified into 4 groups by household income level. Dietary data from 24 hr recall methods were used to analyze nutritional status. The obesity rate of the low income group was significantly higher than the rates of other income groups. Additionally, the nutritional status of the low income group was worse than those of other groups. The percentage of carbohydrate in total energy intake was higher and food security status was lower in the low income group than in other groups. Awareness and adherence to dietary guidelines were also lower in the low income group. Adherence to a dietary guideline of 'avoiding salty foods and trying to eat foods with bland taste' and 'eating a variety of foods from each food group' were lower than those of other groups. However, the frequency of skipping breakfast among the low income group was lower than that of others. Therefore, this study suggested that low income women should decrease the percentage of carbohydrate in total energy intake and adhere to dietary guidelines, especially those of avoiding salty foods and eating a variety of food groups, in order to improve their nutritional status.
영남지방 돼지에서 분리한 Bordetella bronchiseptica의 약제 감수성

The in vitro drug susceptibility of 83 strains of Bordetella bronchiseptica recovered from Korean pigs with atrophic rhinitis was investigated by the use of disk diffusion method. The majority of the organisms were highly resistant in order of prevalence to penicillin(98.7%), ampicillin(91.5%), streptomycin(90.3%), triple sulfa(83.1%), and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole(70.7%) while none of them were resistant to gentamicin, only 3.6% to colistin, chloramphenicol and kanamycin and 6.0% to tetracycline. The percentage of the organism resistant to bicozamycin, cephalothin and neomycin were 34.9%, 34.1% and 18.4%, respectively. A high prevalence of multiple drug resistance was observed and the 3 most common resistant patterns among 35 patterns noted were Am Pc Sm Sss Sxt(26.5%), Am Cf Pc Sm Sss Sxt(12.%) and Am Bm Pc Sm Sss Sxt(9.6%) patterns.

According as the economy develops and the level of living quality rises, a large enclosure buildings such as the center of a large-scale international conferences, exhibitions, a large sports facilities are increasing in domestic as well as advanced countries. This large enclosure buildings have generally large space volume and a high density of occupancy per unit floor area compared to other buildings. Especially, it has the feature that the thermal environment has big difference horizontally as well as vertically and living spaces are restricted within nearby floor area. Also, this spaces have special thermal characters and airflow mechanism each other. CFD simulation can analyze the various thermal characters of large enclosure buildings exactly. The merit of simulation is that it can minimize the error in planning step by analyzing various airflow and thermal character in advance when the air conditioning works. Recently, the use of the under floor supply air conditioning system are increasing. This system air conditions not total space but the living space nearby the floor is by installing inlet on floor or under the seats. This study aimed at predictive evaluation of thermal environment in a large-scale auditorium appling the under floor supply air conditioning system by using CFD simulation. From thermal environment point of view in the residential field, the results of this study are as follows; 1) In cooling condition, all CASEs satisfy allowable supply air velocity 0.35m/s and CASE 2 and CASE 5 at which supply air temperature is about 20℃ are suitable condition. 2) In heating condition, all CASEs satisfy allowable supply air velocity 0.5m/s and CASE 7 and CASE 9 at which supply air temperature is about 22℃ are suitable condition.
동적열부하시뮬레이션을 이용한 향변화에 따른 공동주택의 열적 불균형 검토

This study is focused on analysis of the characteristics of heat load using dynamic heat load simulation according to the change of direction classified by each household in apartment house. The conclusion of the study is as follows. 1) The characteristics of heat load classified by each household in a view of the story showed that the heating load of each household in the same story was increased by 10%(side wall of center floor)∼52%(side wall of ground floor) than the center household of center floor which has the lowest in heating load. 2) As a result of investigating the characteristics of heat load according to the change of direction, apartment block which has 25th floor and one hundred of household showed that the south(232MJ/㎡yr) was the most advantageous direction for heating load and the northeast(290MJ/㎡yr) was the most disadvantageous. Each household in the direction was increased by 2%(SE)∼26%(NE) than the center household of center floor(S).
충남 일부 지역유치원 및 보육시설 아동 어머니의 구강보건 지식과 행동에 관한 연구

Objectives: Since most oral diseases are not life threatening, it can be assumed that an individual`s behavior to maintain one`s oral health is most likely influenced by one`s oral health knowledge. Methods: Mothers whose children are attending five kindergartens and child care facilities in the city of Danjin, Chungnam were selected as subjects of this study. Out of a total of 230 questionnaires collected. A self-administered survey was conducted from April 1 to April 30, 2012. The data were analyzed using SPSS 19.0 (SPSS 19.0 K for window, SPSS Inc, USA) with the level of significance as 0.05. Results: 1. Most of the participants correctly answered questions on the oral health knowledge with a mean of 7.37 out of 9. 2. In the section of caring a child`s oral health behavior, ``caring a child to brush his or her teeth three times a day`` had the highest score of 3.45 out of 5. 3. Looking at caring a child`s oral health behavior and a mother`s oral health knowledge by general characteristics of mothers, there were no significant differences based on the mother`s age, whether a mother is currently working or not, her level of education, and her monthly average income. Conclusions: Based on the above results, we can draw a conclusion that the lower the difference between the rate of correct answers and that of incorrect answers on mother`s oral health knowledge to her child, the higher the mother`s score of caring her child`s oral health behavior, leading to better caring.

This study carried out sensitivity analysis of heating load according to the building exterior thermal performance factors by variable base degree day method for apartment house. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. (1) The result of heating load analysis seems to be linear pattern for annual heating load analysis according to partial U-factor changes. (2) Window U-factor is the most effective factor on heating load reduction rate and the U-factors of wall, floor, roof are similar to each other. (3) The result of heating load reduction rate analysis are that heating load sensitivity according to the change of window element affects more than according to the change of the window shading coefficient. (4) The result of the multiple regression analysis of the household position and direction, multiple regression equation for heating load expectation was derived.
