Skeletal anterior open bite is a difficult problem to correct in orthodontic treatment. To treat adult patients who have skeletal anterior open bite, we considered two methods. Combination treatment of orthodontics & surgery and camouflage orthodontic treatment. In adults, treatment of severe skeletal anterior open bite consists mainly of surgically repositioning the maxilla or the mandible. However, camouflage therapy is often the treatment of choice for skeletal open bite patients who have mild to moderate skeletal discrepancies when growth modification is no longer possible. But excellent results generally require careful coordination of the orthodontic and surgical phases of treatment. This is a case report of a skeletal anterior open bite patients who were treated with orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery. First case was diagnosed as skeletal class I malocclusion & bimaxillary protrusion with anterior open bite, and finally treatment ended for removal of open bite with orthodontic procedure and bimaxillary anterior segmental osteotomy surgery. Second case was diagnosed as skeletal class II malocclusion with open bite & mandibular retrusion, and was treated with only camouflage orthodontics because she feared to have a surgery. In a regular follow up visit after debonding we proposed to the patient advanced genioplasty, and in her agreement her facial esthetics was improved through the surgery.

This study was designed to investigate a method for short-term, real-time energy demand prediction, to cope with changing loads for the effective operation and management of buildings. Through a case study, a novel methodology for real-time energy demand prediction with the use of weather forecasting data was suggested. To perform the input and output operations of weather data, and to calculate solar radiation and EnergyPlus, the BCVTB (Building Control Virtual Test Bed) was designed. Through the BCVTB, energy demand prediction for the next 24 hours was carried out, based on 4 real-time weather data and 2 solar radiation calculations. The weather parameters used in a model equation to calculate solar radiation were sourced from the weather data of the KMA (Korea Meteorological Administration). Depending on the local weather forecast data, the results showed their corresponding predicted values. Thus, this methodology was successfully applicable to anywhere that local weather forecast data is available.

점진성형(Incremental Forming)기술은 고대 대장간에서 대장장이들이 소재를 두드려 조금씩 변형시켜 원하는 농기구나 검을 만드는 것부터 라고 할 수 있으며, 판재를 원하는 형상으로 조금씩 두드려 환기통 등을 제조하는 것들로부터 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있는 일반적인 성형기술이다. 다른 성형기술과 마찬가지로 점진성형 기술 또한 균일한 품질의 제품을 대량으로 생산하기 위해 고속생산이 필요하게 되면서부터 고효율 성형기술이 개발 활용되고 있으며 소재와 장비 등 기반기술과 에너지 환경 보호를 위한 제조공정의 최적화를 위해 점점 발전하면서 점진성형 기술 또한 지속적으로 발전하고 있다. 그러나, 현재 개발의 중심에 있는 고효율 점진성형기술 대부분은 소재를 회전시킴과 동시에 영구변형을 유도하기 때문에 다른 성형기술에 비해 공정변수가 많으며 그 영향이 매우 크다. 따라서, 경험적 지식(노하우)에만 의존하는 것은 신소재 신공정 개발에 어려움이 많으므로 이론적 해석기술의 필요성은 더욱 높다. 반면, 소재의 변형과 회전이 함께 이루어지므로 이론적 해석 난이도가 높아 공정분석과 변수선정을 위한 수치해석기술 또한 상대적으로 뒤쳐져 있다. 본고에서는 점차 증가되고 있는 고효율 점진성형기술의 종류를 알아보고 실제적 기술향상을 위해 개발되고 있는 수치해석 기술에 대해 정리하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a building energy management system and to verify the proposed model by applying energy management technique in a large office building. Until recently, operation and control that closely mimic a programmable EMS are unprecedented for building energy simulation programs. In this study the influence of the dimming control and setpoint temperature control strategies in energy consumption and the energy saving potentials have been investigated by means of simulation. An essential part of EMS class in the EnergyPlus program, Runtime Language(ERL), is used to specify the EMS control algorithms. With control strategies, whole building energy consumption are reduced by about 7.64%(electricity, dimming control), 0.01%(electricity, setpoint temperature control), and 0.95%(gas, setpoint temperature control) compared with a baseline model.
냉방 에너지 절감을 위한 시뮬레이션 기반 에너지관리 시스템 적용

In life cycle cost (LCC), the cost during the operation period is 5 ~ 6 times higher than the initial investment. The energy consumption of architectural environment system accounts for the most proportion in LCC and can be efficiently reduced mostly realized through Energy Management System(EMS). The purpose of this study is to develop EMS and to verify the proposed model by applying energy management technique in a real campus building. In this study, the influence of the building control(blind and dimming) and system control(HVAC)strategies in energy consumption and the energy saving potentials of the whole building energy have been investigated by means of simulations. Furthermore, it is programed to show information of control strategies to achieve EMS. EnergyPlus runtime language(Erl) is used to specify control algorithms and complete energy management. With building control and system control, whole building energy consumption of the target building is reduced by about 46.0%.

노화가 진행되고 있는 중, 장년층의 교정치료시에 통상적인 교정치료의 방법과 함께 다음과 같은 사항을 고려하여야 한다. 1. 치주질환 존재시 교정치료전 치주치료를 선행하여야 한다. 2. 발치 치료가 필요할 경우 치주 상태 및 치아 상태를 고려하여 발치할 치아를 선정하여야한다. 3. 기존 보철물 존재시 보철물의 상태, 고정원으로 사용여부, 크기 조절 필요 여부, 환자의 경제적 상황 등을 고려하여 처치한다. 4. 치료 종료 후 가철식 유지장치보다는 고정식 보정장치를 이용하여 치아의 유지력을 보강하는 것이 권장된다. Recently orthodontics in elderly people is continually increasing due to aging of the society arising from decrease of birth rate as well as death rate. As the elderly population grows, needs for oral health care increases, and elderly patients with poor teeth alignment need more attention with orthodontic treatment. Our study analyzes various treatment protocols for different cases of aged orthodontic patients, and following are considerations in orthodontic treatment of elderly patients. 1. Periodontal treatment should be preceded before orthodontic treatment. 2. Periodontal condition should be considered when selecting teeth for extraction 3. In dealing with the residual prosthesis, condition of prosthesis, anchorage availability, and need for size reduction, patient seconomic status should be taken into consideration. 4. Fixed retainers are recommended for retention.
