      • 점성 효과에 의한 경사진 방파제 입구에서의 토사 이동에 관한 연구

        Herein we investigate the mass transport velocity caused by the viscosity near the ocean structure such as circular pile and inclined breakwaters. The mass transport velocity which is represented by the sum of the Eulerian velocity and the stokes drift were derived by Carter, Liu and Mei(1973). The tangential components of the inviscid velocity field at the bottom needed in the calculation of the mass transport velocity is obtained by solving the scattering problem due to breakwaters. The matched asymptotic expansion technique is employed to obtain the inviscid flow fields scattered by inclined breakwaters. The numerical results show that heary sediments tends to be deposited near the center of breakwaters and that the narrowing of the entrance width results in reduction of the magnitude of mass transport.

        In this paper we examine the mass transport within the boundary layer near the sea bottom. The fluid domain is seperated into inner and outer region of boundary layers. In outer region, the wave field is assumed to be inviscid and irrotational. When the incident waves enter the arrays of circular cylinders, the scattering of water waves by an array of N bottom mounted vertical circular cylinders is solved using the method proposed by Linton & Evans under the potential theory. In inner region, the Navier-Stokes equation must be satisfied with boundary conditions at the boundary later and bottom is to be represented by the sum of the Eulerian mean drift and the Stokes' drift.

        주성분분석을 이용한 환경영향평가와 사후환경조사의 비교 및 평가에 관한 사례연구

        Environmental monitoring system has been adopted and supplemented as inspection measures for the quantitative and qualitative changes of environmental impact assessment (EIA). This study compares the results of environmental impact assessment with the results of post-environmental investigation using a correction and principal component analysis (PCA) in the housing development project. Correlation analysis showed that most of air quality variables including TSP, $PM_{10},\;NO_2$, CO were linearly correlated with each other in the environmental impact assessment and the post-environmental investigation. In the water quality, pH and BOD were well correlated with the DO and SS, respectively. As a result of correlation analysis in the noise and vibration, noise in day and night and vibration in day and night were related to each other between EIA and the post-environmental investigation. From the results of analysis of soil, Cu with Cd, Cu with Pb, and Cd with Pb were related to each other in EIA. Principal component analysis (PCA) showed a powerful pattern recognition that had attempted to explain the variance of a large dataset of inter-correlated variable with a smaller set of independent variables (principal components). Principal component (PC1) and principal component (PC2) were obtained with eigenvalues> 1 summing almost $90\%$ of the total variance in the all of the items(air, water, noise, vibration and soil) in EIA and post-environmental investigation.

        The Performance of a Horizontal Flexible Membrane Breakwater in Waves

        본 연구에서는 수면 밑 일정한 깊이에 잠긴 유연한 천이 파도중 수평으로 놓여 있을 때 유연막과 파도의 상호작용 문제를 살펴보았다. 파도와 유연막의 상호작용을 고려하기 위하여 선형 유탄성 이론을 사용하였다. 계산 예로 유연막의 형태, 잠긴 깊이 그리고 유연막에 걸리는 초기 장력을 변화시키면서 반사율과 투과율 그리고 유연막의 변형을 살펴보았다. 또한 Texas A&M 대학의 2차원 수조에서 모형실험을 수행하여 실험결과와 해석해를 비교하였다. 실험결과와 해석결과는 정성적으로 잘 일치하고 있음을 확인하였다. 개발된 설계 프로그램을 이용하여 설치 해역의 파랑 특성에 적합한 최적의 유연막 방파제를 설계, 제작할 수 있으리라 사료된다. The interaction of monochromatic incident waves with a horizontal flexible membrane is investigated in the context of two-dimensional linear hydro-elastic theory. First, analytic diffraction and radiation solutions for a submerged impermeable horizontal membrane are obtained. Second, the theoretical prediction was compared with a series of experiments conducted in a two-dimensional wave tank at Texas A&M University. The measured reflection and transmission coefficients reasonably follow the trend of predicted values. Using the developed computer program, the performance of surface-mounted or submerged horizontal membrane wave barriers is tested with various system parameters and wave characteristics. It is found that the properly designed horizontal flexible membrane can be an effective wave barrier.

        철 석출장치에 의한 폐수 중의 인 제거 특성

        This study was conducted to improve an effect of phosphorus removal using FNR(Ferrous Nutrient Removal) process which had iron precipitation reactor and to analyze the iron corrosion. For simultaneous removal of phosphorus, iron electrolysis was combined with oxic tank. In this study, The removal efficiency of phosphorus increased with an increase voltage in iron precipitation reactor. The distance of 15mm between the two iron bed in each tests influence the concentration of remaining phosphorus most. The extensive surface area of iron bed is the more removes the phosphorus. In this test the $400\;cm^2$ of surface area was proved to be the most removal efficient.

        직립 슬릿판에 의한 반사율과 투과율 해석

        In this paper, a numerical model to analyze the performance of a vertical slit-type wave absorber is developed under the assumption of inviscid water waves. The formulation combines the linear potential theory with a semi-empirical description of the eddy-shedding at a slit-type wave absorber. We investigated the reflection coefficients over a wide frequency range for a vertical slit-type wave absorber both with and without a solid rear wall. Model test was conducted at KRISO's two dimensional wave tank to validate the theoretical results. It is found that the agreement between theoretical results and experimental data is surprisingly good. We found that the wave absorbing system using a vertical slit plate has sufficient potentials for breakwaters for ocean development.

        다수 부체 배열에 의한 파의 회절과 방사

        The diffraction and radiation of linear waves by an array of truncated floating multiple buoys are solved using the interaction theory based on a matched eigenfunction expansion method (MEEM). The interaction processes between multiple buoys are very complex and numerous, because the scattered and radiated waves from each buoy affect the others in the array. Our primary aim is therefore to construct the rigorous wave exciting forces and hydrodynamic forces to deal with the problem of multiple interactions. This present method is applied to a square array of four buoys with two incidence angles, and the results are given for the wave excitation forces on each buoy, heave RAO for each buoy heaving independently, and wave elevations around the buoys and wave run-up. The analytical solutions are in good agreement with the numerical solutions obtained from commercial code (WAMIT).

        감쇠판이 부착된 원기둥의 동유체력 특성

        The radiation of water waves by a heaving truncated circular cylinder with damping plate is solved in the frame of the three-dimensional linear potential theory. The damping plate has a distinct advantage in reducing the motion response of a floating circular cylinder by increasing the added mass and the damping coefficient. Using the matched eigenfunction expansion method, the characteristics of hydrodynamic added mass and the damping coefficient are investigated with various system parameters, such as the radius and submergence depth of the damping plate. It is found that both added mass and the damping coefficient are significantly increased due to the arranged features of the larger damping plate with shallow submergence, which are positive factors as a motion reduction device of the floating offshore platform. Also the numerical results for an oscillating submerged disk show that the added mass is negative and that the damping coefficient has a peak value at resonant frequency when submergence depth is sufficiently small.

        원통형 양식시설물에 작용하는 파랑하중

        본 연구에서는 일정한 공극율을 갖는 투과성 그물망으로 이루어진 원통형 양식시설물에 작용하는 파랑하중을 고유함수전개법을 사용하여 해석하였다. 그물망에서의 경계조건식으로 그물망을 통과하는 속도값은 그물망 전후의 압력차에 선형적으로 비례한다는 Darcy의 법칙을 적용하였다. 그물망의 공극율 계수와 양식시설물의 잠긴 위치(부상식, 착저식)를 변화시키면서 양식시설물에 작용하는 파랑하중과 파도응답을 살펴보았다. 착저식 양식시설물에 작용하는 파랑하중이 부상식과 비교하여 크게 감소하며, 그물망의 공극율이 양식시설물의 파랑하중과 양식시설물 주변의 파형을 줄이는데 중요한 역할을 함을 밝혔다. In this paper, the wave forces on a cylindrical aquaculture fish cage, which consists of the porous mesh with the uniform porosity, are analyzed using matched eigenfunction expansion method. The boundary condition on the porous net is derived based on the Darcy's law, which implies that the velocity of the fluid passing through the net is linearly proportional to the pressure difference between two sides of the net. The wave forces and wave responses are investigated by changing the porous parameter of porous net as well as the submerged position (floating type, bottom-mounted type) of an aquaculture fish cage. It is found that the wave forces on a bottom-mounted type are largely decreased compared with that on a floating type. Also, the porosity of the netting structure plays an important role in reducing the wave forces and the wave elevation in the vicinity of an aquaculture fish cage.
