        JSP를 이용한 웹 기반 교수학습 시스템의 설계 및 구현

        Web based instruction (WBI) has been widely used thesedays because the web has various advantages for instruction. However, most of current WBI systems do not support various requirements from students. It is because of the lack of research for structural instruction method. This paper presents a new method of WBI and designs an instruction model to support various requirements from students by implementing dynamic WBI system using JSP to solve current WBI problems. The developed WBI system uses multimedia based instructions. The implemented system focused on the practical instruction by providing the functions of listening, homework, and test on web site. For the similar effects as in the classroom, it supports functions of electronic white board and multimedia data which is consisted of high-quality sound and video data with high degree of compression. Furthermore, the system supports that instructors can design a test using three kinds of basic forms, a multiple-choice test, brief-answer test, essay test, and evaluate the tests easily. It also supports easy management for homework, lecture registration, and many school affairs.

        마이크로프로세서 교과목의 운영 개선에 관한 연구

        현대의 많은 제어 시스템과 임베디드시스템에는 그 두뇌에 해당하는 마이크로프로세서 또는 마이크로컨트롤러가 내장되어 있다. 따라서 공학계열 학생들에게 있어서 마이크로프로세서에 대한 이해가 매우 중요하게 되었으며 그런 이유로 대부분의 공학계열 학부(과)에서 관련 교과목이 개설되어 운영되고 있다. 마이크로프로세서 교과목은 그 특성상 이론과 실습이 병행되어야 하는데 이 교과목 운영의 설계에서 가장 중요한 요인은 어떤 프로세서를 대상으로 할 것인지, 이론과 실습의 비율은 어떻게 할 것인지, 실습의 내용은 어떻게 할 것인지와 달성도에 대한 평가는 어떻게 할 것인지를 정하는 것이다. 실습이 수반되는 교과목에 사용될 수 있는 적절한 평가기법은 상당히 어려운 난제이지만 열심히 자신의 노력으로 과제를 수행하는 학생들이 그렇지 못한 학생들에 의해 제대로 평가되지 못해 학습의욕이 떨어지는 것을 방지하고 모든 수강생들에게 진정한 실력 배양의 기회를 부여하기 위해서 공정한 평가기법의 개발은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 본 저자의 오랜 경험을 바탕으로 마이크로프로세서 교과목의 강의/실습 내용과 적절한 평가 기법에 대해 정리하여 소개하였다. These days, almost all of the embedded systems have microprocessors or micro-controllers in them as their brains. So microprocessor related subjects become very important and most engineering departments have those kinds of subjects in their curriculums with practice hours. However, in most universities in Korea, the number of students in a class is more than 40 and only one teaching assistant is assigned to the class. So it is very hard job to find out an appropriate method to evaluate the students` achievements in their practice hours fairly. In this study, the author introduces some suggestions for the evaluation of the students` achievements in microprocessor practice courses. In addition to it, the author also introduces some guidelines for contents of microprocessor related subjects.

        수중 구조물 형상의 영상 정보를 이용한 수중로봇 위치인식 기법

        An autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) can perform flexible operations even in complex underwater environments because of its autonomy. Localization is one of the key components of this autonomous navigation. Because the inertial navigation system of an AUV suffers from drift. observing fixed objects in an inertial reference system can enhance the localization performance. In this paper, we propose a method of AUV localization using visual measurements of underwater structures. A camera measurement model that emulates the camera`s observations of the underwater structures is designed in a particle filtering framework. Then, the particle weight is updated based on the extracted visual information of the underwater structures. The proposed method is validated based on the results of experiments performed in a structured basin environment.

        미국 래드번 주거단지에 활용된 사적규약의 특징 및 시사점 연구

        This study has explored as to how the Radburn, which is a symbol of the early new town development in the US, has been keeping its original identity and character in terms of physical and social community. To do this, this study analyzed private land use controls including covenant and easement adopted in the residential development; the ideas and historical background of the Radburn's planning and design; and the current community's characters. In addition, the impacts of the U.S.'s new town development were examined. Ultimately, this study has reached the conclusion that it is strong private controls based on the U.S.'s legal system that has enabled the Radburn to keep its reputation as one of the best residential developments. In particular, private controls in the U.S.'s legal system allows community to have its autonomy to regulate its territory, thereby preserving the physical and social characters as they had been intended. Moreover, individual property also is regulated to achieve common goals under such private land use controls, which fill the gap where government's authority cannot reach. This legal technique may be applied in Korea for the Building Agreement, guidelines of environmentally friendly residential development, and urban design methodologies as in the District Unit Planning.

      • 퍼지추론과 상호작용 다중 모델을 이용한 이동로봇의 위치 인식 기법

        Improvement of dead reckoning accuracy is essential for robotic localization system and has been intensively studied. However, existing solutions cannot provide accurate positioning when a robot suffers from changing dynamics such as wheel slip. In this paper, we propose a fuzzy-logie-assisted interacting multiple model (FLAIMM) framework to detect and compensate for wheel slip. Firstly, two different types of extended Kalman filter (EKF) are designed to consider both no-slip and slip dynamics of mobile robots. Then a fuzzy inference system (FIS) model for slip estimation is constructed using adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS). The trained model is utilized along with the two EKFs in the FLAIMM framework. The approach is evaluated using real data sets acquired with a robot driven in an indoor environment. The experimental results show that our approach improves position accuracy and works better in slip compensation compared to the conventional approach.

        서울시 특별계획구역 용적률 인센티브제도에 의한 편익비용비 영향요인에 관한 연구

        The objective of this research is to examine influencing factors of B/C Ratio by incentive zoning in special planning districts in Seoul. Twenty-two factors regarding B/C ratio are defined, and incentive endowments in 25 special districts were surveyed. And correlation analysis, covariance analysis and regression analysis were conducted to examine the relationship between variances and B/C ratio. The results of this study showed that, firstly, current incentive policy has produced an quantitative imbalance, because it is in control of incentive zoning according to rate of site area. Secondly, as a result of the regression analysis of the 13 factors to influence the B/C ratio, 5 factors such as 'sum of floor area', 'possession rate of residential usage', 'benefit by enlargement floor area', 'cost of public facilities' and 'construction cost for increasing area' are chosen to influence the B/C ratio. Especially, 'sum of floor area' is selected to be a most influenced factor. In addition, 'site area' is selected to be an fundamental element related with floor area, land donation, cost of public facilities. Therefore, incentive policies are required to change a compensation for property loss into a expansion of social benefits.

        The output torque of an automobile engine has been measured currently by connecting the engine to an engine dynamometer. But, there is a little interference to measure the output torque while a vehicle is driven due to some restraints.<br/> This paper deals with real time measurement of output torque of a vehicle with manual transmission by developing a sensor which can estimate the output torque during driving.<br/> The output torque changes according to the road condition and the engine load as driver's desires change. In this process, the fluctuation of the output torque changes the compression force of the damping spring of the clutch, conclusively, the phase angle is generated between the input part and the output part of the clutch according to the fluctuation of the engine load, when the power is transferred from the engine to the transmission. By measuring this phase angle, the real time output torque of the automobile engine can be measured.

        방향 모호성을 고려한 수중 음향 기반의 2차원 위치 추정 기술 개발

        Acoustic based localization is essential to operate autonomous robotic systems in underwater environment where the use of sensorial data is limited. This paper proposes a localization method using artificial underwater acoustic sources. The proposed method acquires directional angles of acoustic sources using time difference of arrivals of two hydrophones. For this purpose, a probabilistic approach is used for accurate estimation of the time delay. Then, Gaussian sum filter based SLAM technique is used to localize both acoustic sources and underwater vehicle. It is performed by using bearing of acoustic sources as measurement and inertial sensors as prediction model. The proposed method can handle directional ambiguity of time difference based source localization by generating Gaussian models corresponding to possible locations of both front and back sides. Through these processes, the proposed method can provide reliable localization method for underwater vehicles without any prior information of source locations. The performance of the proposed method is verified by experimental results conducted in a real sea environment.
