Background/Aims: After endoscopic treatment of peptic ulcer bleeding, rebleeding occurs in 15 to 20 percent of patients. We investigated the factors predicting the failure of initial endoscopic treatment in patients with peptic ulcer bleeding and the usefulness of repeated endoscopic treatment in peptic ulcer patients with rebleeding after initial endoscopic treatment. Methods: Clinical data were retrospectively collected from 376 patients (311 males and 65 females, mean age 53.9 years) with peptic ulcer bleeding between June 1995 and May 1999. Results: Of 376 patients, rebleeding after initial endoscopic treatment occurred in 50 patients (13.3%). Eight patients who failed to initial endoscopic hemostasis underwent operation immediately. The presence of major stigmata on endoscopy (p=0.001) and shock at admission (p=0.001) were two significantly independent factors predictive of rebleeding after initial endoscopic treatment. Among the patients with rebleeding, repeated endoscopic treatment was successful in 26 patients (61.9%), but 16 patients (38.1%0 underwent salvage surgery due to the failure of hemostasis. Patients who did not respond to endoscopic retreatment were more likely to have ulcers ≥2 cm in diameter (p=0.027). Conclusions: Repeated endoscopic treatment can reduce the need for surgery. Ulcer size ≥2cm is an independent factor in predicting the failure of repeated endoscopic treatment in peptic ulcer patients with rebleeding. Therefore, surgery should be considered in the case. The objective of this study is to demonstrate and commercialized for on-board fuel storage system for the hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Type3 composite cylinder is consisting of the full wrapped composites on a seamless aluminum liner. Especially, the seamless aluminum liner has been commercialized with development of fabrication through this study. The key technologies, including design, analysis and the optimized filament winding process for 350bar composite cylinder, were established and verified with design qualification test in accordance with international standard. And the facilities for fabrication and design qualification test have been constructed.

The creation of vertically aligned one-dimensional (1D) nanostructures through the decoration of n-type tin oxide (SnO<sub>2</sub>) on p-type chromium oxide (Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>) constitutes an effective strategy for enhancing gas sensing performance. These heterostructures are deposited in multiple stages using a glancing angle deposition technique with an electron beam evaporator, resulting in a reduction in the surface porosity of the nanorods as SnO<sub>2</sub> is incorporated. In comparison to Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> films, the bare Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> nanorods exhibits a response 3.3 times greater to 50 ppm H<sub>2</sub>S at 300°C, while the SnO<sub>2</sub>-decorated Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> nanorods demonstrate an eleven-fold increase in response. Furthermore, when subjected to various gases (CH<sub>4</sub>, H<sub>2</sub>S, CO<sub>2</sub>, H<sub>2</sub>), a notable selectivity toward H<sub>2</sub>S is observed. This study paves the way for the development of p-type semiconductor sensors with heightened selectivity and sensitivity towards H<sub>2</sub>S, thus advancing the prospects of gas sensor technology.
태아발육지연 유무에 따른 자간전증 임신태반에서의 Telomerase 활성도

목적: 임신 제 3기 인체 태반에서 telomerase 활성도(TA) 발현 여부를 확인하고, 자간전증임신 태반에서 태아발육지연 유무에 따른 TA 발현 빈도를 비교 분석한다. 실험방법: 임신 29∼41주 사이의 태반 조직에서 Telomeric Repeat Amplification Protocol(TRAP) 분석방법에 의해 TA를 측정하였다. 연구 대상을 크게 세군으로 나누어 1군은 자간전증과 태아발육지연이 없었던 군 21명, 2군은 태아발육지연이 없는 중증 자간전증 9명, 3군은 중증 자간전증과 태아발육지연이 있었던 16명을 대상으로 TA 발현 빈도를 비교 분석하였다. 결과: 1군에서는 16/21(76.1%), 2군은 3/9(33.3%), 3군에서는 4/16(25%)의 빈도로 TA가 발현되었다. 이상의 결과로 1군에서 2군과 3군에 비해 TA발현이 의미 있게 높았으며(p=0.003), 2군 및 3군 각각에 비해서도 높은 TA 발현 빈도를 보였다(p<0.05). 그러나 2군과 3군 사이에서의 TA의 발현 빈도에는 유의한 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 결론: 본 연구로 임신 제 3기 태반에서도 TA의 발현이 확인되었고, 중증 자간전증 및 태아발육지연을 동반한 중증 자간전증 태반에서 TA가 현저히 감소되는 것으로 보아 중증 자간전증 및 태아발육지연의 발생은 태반 노화나 apoptosis와 관련이 있을 가능성을 제시한다. Objectives: To analyze telomerase activity(TA) in human placenta tissues and to compare TA in preeclampsia with or without fetal growth restriction(FGR) Methods: Fourty-six placenta specimens were obtained from pregnant women between 29 and 41 weeks' gestation. TA of each specimen was analyzed including 21 specimens without either preeclampsia or FGR(Group 1), 9 specimens with preeclampsia but without FGR(Group 2), and 16 specimens with both preeclampsia and FGR(Group 3). TA was analysed by radioisotope PCR based telomeric repeat amplification protocol(TRAP) assay. TA was calculated and translated into arbitrary units by computer-assisted densitometry with the control of TA in 293 cell lines. Results: TA was expressed in 16 of 21(76.1%) in group 1, and in 3 of 9(33.3%) in group 2. In contrast, only 4 patients(25%) in group 3 expressed TA. Thus, TA was expressed significantly more often in group 1 than in group 2 and group 3(p=0.003). However, compared with group 2, expression of telomerase activity in group 3 was not reduced significantly(p>0.05). Conclusion: TA was minimal in placenta from preeclamptic women with and without FGR, suggesting placental senescence and apoptosis may be associated with FGR and severe preeclampsia.

The purpose of this study is to analyze satisfaction factors that consumers perceive during purchasing products and using services on Internet Shopping Mall. Consumers' purchase process on Internet Shopping Mall is examined by finding the relation between overall satisfaction and intention. The study results show that consumers' higher appraisal degree on satisfaction means their higher purchase intention. In the process of service encounter, many factors affect customer's evaluation for overall satisfaction. They are categorized as five factors; information provision, merchandising, ordering convenience, payment risk, after services.

우리나라의 스마트폰은 2009년 하반기 이동통신회사의 출시경쟁으로 보급이 급속히 확산 되었으며, 2012년 2월 기준 스마트폰의 사용자는 약 2500만명으로 증가하였다. 이는 국민 10명 중 4명, 경제활동인구 가운데 80%가 스마트폰을 이용하는 것으로 나타나, 스마트폰 시장이 급속도로 성장하여 도입단계를 지나 성장단계에 접어들었다고 할 수 있다. 스마트폰 단말기의 성장과 함께 모바일 애플리케이션에 대한 관심도 커지고 있는데, 본 연구에서는 애플리케이션 마켓플레이스인 앱스토어를 인터넷 서비스 품질을 측정한 e-SERVQUAL을 적용하여 ‘앱스토어의 서비스품질이 고객만족과 스마트폰의 지속적인 사용에 영향을 미칠 것’이라는 판단하에 여러 선행연구로부터 변수를 도출하고, 이를 실증적으로 검증하고자 한다. 현재 스마트폰의 실사용자를 대상으로 ‘스마트폰 앱스토어의 사용자 만족에 대한 선·후행변수에 관한 연구’의 사전 설문조사가 진행되고 있으며, 기본적인 검증과 더불어 연구모델의 확장 및 변수개발을 통한 실제 연구를 진행할 계획이다.

Recently, the domestic smartphone market entered the maturity stage after its growth phase. Combined with smart phone functions, mobile application creates a synergy with its various functions and by extending contents infinitely. The users can continuously add new applications on their smartphones. These various applications offer unique features that were not available in traditional mobile phones, and have the added value of being useful in terms of helping users conduct practical daily matters as well as being entertaining, enjoyable and fun. The samples consist of 226 survey data drawn from a smartphone users. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. According to results of the reliability and validity test, all were found reliable, and all items were included. This study examines the use of smartphone, which is recently becoming a hot item in daily life, and user satisfaction level that compares expectations before use with product performance evaluations after use.
$Hg_{1-x}Cd_{x}$Te photovoltaic 대형 적외선 감지 소자의 제작

We fabricated a large-scale photovoltaic device for detecting-3-5$\mu$m IR, by forming of n$^{+}$-p junction in the $Hg_{1-x}Cd_{x}$Te (MCT) layer which was grown by LPE on CdTe substrate. The composition x of the MCT epitaxial layer was 0.295 and the hole concentration was 1.3${\times}10^{13}/cm^{4}$. The n$^{+}$-p junction was formed by B+ implantation at 100 keV with a does 3${\times}10^{11}/cm^{2}. The n$^{+}$ region has a circular shape with 2.68mm diameter. The vacuum-evaporated ZnS with resistivity of 2${\times}10^{4}{\Omega}$cm is used as an insulating layer over the epitaxial layer. ZnS plays the role of the anti-reflection coating transmitting more than 90% of 3~5$\mu$m IR. For ohmic contacts, gole was used for p-MCT and indium was used for n$^{+}$-MCT. The fabrication took 5 photolithographic masks and all the processing temperatures of the MCT wafer were below 90$^{\circ}C$. The R,A of the fabricated devices was 7500${\Omega}cm^{2}$. The carrier lifetime of the devices was estimated 2.5ns. The junction was linearly-graded and the concentration slope was measured to be 1.7${\times}10^{17}/{\mu}m$. the normalized detectivity in 3~5$\mu$m IR was 1${\times}10^{11}cmHz^{12}$/W, which is sufficient for real application.

The purpose of this study is to identify antecedents and consequents of relationship quality in online shopping. Shopping convenience, site design, informativeness, security, and communication are used as the factors affecting customer satisfaction. e- Trust and commitment are used as the consequents of customer satisfaction and the antecedents of word of mouth. The results show that shopping convenience, site design, informativeness, security, and communication affect positively customer satisfaction and that customer satisfaction affects positively e-trust and commitment. Also, e-trust and commitment affect positively word of mouth. Therefore, the marketing implication is that online retailing should concentrate on enhancing relationship quality through the management of site characteristics in online shopping.
