As energy conservation and environmental issues are emerging as a hot topic around the world, consumers are demanding high-efficiency, eco-friendly products. In this study, the author proposed 120W LED lighting system that replace metal halide lamp (MHL) which is currently used in the industry. Furthermore, it would be possible to provide a perfect opportunity for Korea to rise as a global leader in the LED lighting industry through soundness evaluation of the LED lighting system that is applied.

The use of optical fiber makes it possible to transfer a large amount of data, thereby enabling a high-speed image transmission with a high response speed and a large number of frames. The need for an optical fiber HDMI System has grown in importance due to the rapid development of displays with large sizes and high-resolution images. In this paper, we have studied the structural design and FEM analysis of a 4C fiber guide for hybrid interconnection implementation. According to the structural analysis of the fiber guide, we have confirmed the safety of the design and we will make additional design changes to minimize the optical loss and fabricate a fiber guide for photoelectric composite HDMI in the future.
이종소재 접합을 이용한 차량 F-Apron 최적설계에 관한 연구

The vehicle market has developed environment-friendly vehicles to comply with fuel economy regulations and exhaust regulations that have become stricter and stricter over time. Many studies have been conducted to improve the travel performance and fuel economy of environment-friendly vehicles, and vehicle manufacturers have been studying how to manufacture light-weight vehicles in order to improve the fuel economy of both existing vehicles and the newer environment-friendly vehicles. Exemplary light-weight vehicle technologies optimizes the design of the vehicle body structure, which is a vehicle weight-reducing method that modifies component shapes or layouts to optimize the structure of the vehicle. In addition, the new process technology uses new light-weight and very strong materials, and not typical materials, to manufacture light-weight vehicles. This study aims at the optimal design of vehicle body structures using multi-materials for the Fender-Apron, which is an important frame member for the external front side of a vehicle body, by conducting FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and multi-material bonding.
초음파 적외선열화상 기법을 적용한 모터 코어의 신뢰성 평가

This study used an ultrasound infrared thermography technique to detect issues in the motor core of typical power equipment. The current defect inspection method of the motor core is often incomplete (due to the limits of visual inspection) and thus the reliability of the motor core is reduced. Therefore, in this study, experiments were carried out to increase the reliability of the test by using an ultrasonic infrared thermal non-destructive inspection method to image the motor core. The ambient temperature of the experimental system was maintained at 25 ℃. Experiments were carried out to examine a damaged motor core and a defect-free motor core. Experimental results confirm the technique clearly detected defects in the motor core, thereby confirming the possibility of using this technique in the field.
Detection and Comparison of Surface Defects in Pipe Welds

At present, 24 nuclear power plants are in operation nationwide as the main power source responsible for about 27% of Korea"s electricity, and five nuclear power plants are currently under construction. Issues of nuclear safety and reliability have always existed, but after the Fukushima accident, ensuring reliability has become an even more important issue for safety. Compared to other kinds of accidents, the initial response after a nuclear accident is more important than any other accident. Prior to accidents, it is important to be able to predict and judge the accident in advance for the sake of prevention. In this research, non-destructive inspection methods for existing pipe welds include radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle practice , and liquid penetration testing. For this experiment, carbon steel pipes like that of the material used in nuclear pipes were adopted, and specimen welded to the flange (Flange) were manufactured. After testing, the weld specimen were not damaged through the infrared thermography (IRT) experiment. This study attempted to improve the safety of carbon steel pipes through a comparative analysis of finite element analysis.
국내 양돈장의 사육구간별 주요 소화기질병 원인체 유병율 조사

For determining the prevalence of major enteric pathogens, clinical examination and etiological diagnosis were carried out on 75 Korean pig farms. Enteric disease-suspected signs were observed in 90.7% of the farms and the incidence and severity were higher in younger age groups of the pigs. Five of seven pathogens were detected in 375 fecal samples collected from the 75 farms, and the farm-level prevalence of porcine rotavirus group A (PoRVA), pathogenic Escherichia (E.) coli, Lawsonia (L.) in-tracelluraris, Salmonella spp., and Brachyspira (B.) hyodysenteriae was 54.7%, 54.7%, 16.0%, 10.7% and 2.7%, respectively. PoRVA was extensively infected in suckling and weaning pig groups. The prevalence of pathogenic E. coli was highest in suckling period, and after the period, it exhibited a tendency to decrease. Salmonella spp. and L. intracelluraris were detected in all feeding groups of pigs in a ratio of 1.3∼6.7%. B. hyodysenteriae was detected in 1.3∼2.7% of growing and fattening pig groups but not detected in suckling and weaning pig groups. At least one or more pathogens were detected in 30.1% of 375 fecal samples. Among these, 25.0% or 5.1% of cases were single or mixed infection. Enteric disease signs of the pigs were significantly co-related with the detection of PoRVA, pathogenic E. coli or Salmonella spp. (P<0.01) but not with L. intracelluraris or B. hyodysenteriae (P>0.05). Conclusively, it will be expected that these data obtained in this study are very useful for subsequent studies and prevention strategies for swine enteric disease in Korean pig farms.

최근의 경제적 어려움으로 인해 저소득층과 의료보호를 받아야 할 시민들이 크게 늘어나고 있다. 이에 따라 공립병원 의료서비스의 공공성 확보는 그 중요성이 더해가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 공공의료서비스에 대한 수요증가에 대응하여 중립병원이 의료서비스의 공공성을 어느 정도 확보하고 있는가를 살펴보았다. 분석대상으로 직영, 공사, 그리고 위탁운영 등 세 가지 유형의 관리방식을 도입하여 시립병원을 운영하고 있는 서울시를 사례로 택하였으며, 관리방식별로 제공되는 의료서비스의 공공성을 체계적으로 비교·분석하였다. 의료서비스의 공공성은 공공의료서비스의 수급, 병원운영 구조, 그리고 의료서비스 내용의 새 가지 관점에서 분석되었으며, 관리방식별로 의료서비스의 공공성 확보수준이 다른 것으로 나타났다.
