지각된 시스템과, 정보, 서비스 품질이 사용자별 스마트폰 애플리케이션 이용성과에 미치는 영향

최근 스마트폰을 포함한 각종 모바일 기기들은 여러 분야에서 전통적 개인용 컴퓨터를 차츰 대체해 나가고 있으며, 컴퓨터와 인터넷에 이은 새로운 컴퓨팅 패러다임을 구축해 나가고 있다. 그러나 PC와 다른 사용 환경과 모바일 기기의 하드웨어적 특성으로 인해 스마트폰 애플리케이션의 시스템, 정보, 서비스의 품질은 애플리케이션의 이용성(Usability)과 애플리케이션 이용을 통하여 얻을 수 있는 사용자의 개인적 성과(Performance)에 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다. 이에 본 연구는 스마트폰의 물리적, 환경적 사용 여건에서 스마트폰 애플리케이션의 시스템, 정보, 서비스 품질이 애플리케이션의 이용성을 매개로 애플리케이션을 통한 사용자마다의 개인별 이용성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 살펴보았다. 최근의 애플리케이션 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 구조방정식을 통하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 본 연구는 스마트폰 애플리케이션의 시스템, 정보, 서비스 품질이 애플리케이션의 지각된 이용성을 매개로 사용자의 애플리케이션 이용성과에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. Today"s mobile devices including smartphones are gradually taking a prominent position in many areas as portable multimedia computers and establishing a new computing paradigm. Nevertheless, it would not be easy for smartphone applications to provide users with a high level of usability under the current environment due to the physical hardware characteristics of each smartphone, which are expected to have a negative impact on the qualities of system, information, and service that smartphone applications provide. Thus, this study examined: 1) the effects of the perceived qualities of system, information, and service of smartphone applications on the perceived usability of the applications, and 2) the effect of the usability on users" individual performance with the given application. A survey was conducted and structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the data. This study found that there are significant effects of the perceived qualities of system, information, and service of smartphone applications on the perceived usability of the applications. In addition, this study also found a significant effect of the usability of samrtphone applications on the individual performance with the application.
Cognitive Processing with Information Visualization Types and Contextual Reasoning

The effects of information quality and the importance of information have been reported in the Information Systems (IS) literature. However, little has been learned about the impact of information visualization types and contextual information on decision quality. Therefore, this study investigated the interaction effects of these variables on decision quality by conducting a laboratory experiment. Based on two types of information visualization and the availableness of contextual information, this study had a 2 x 2 factorial design. The dependent variables used to measure the outcomes of decision quality were decision accuracy and time. The results demonstrated that the effects of contextual information on decision quality were significant. In addition, there was a significant main effect of information visualization on decision accuracy. The findings suggest that decision makers can expect to improve their decision quality by enhancing information visualization types and contextual information. This research may extend a body of research examining the effects of factors that can be tied to human decision-making performance.
스마트폰 애플리케이션의 서비스품질이 사용자 만족도 및 충성도에 미치는 영향

Recently, the number of smartphone users has skyrocketed because of a plenty of useful services that smartphone applications provide. In the Information Systems (IS) literature, however, there has been little understanding about the effects of the service quality of smatphone applications on user satisfaction and loyalty. Thereby, this study examined 1) the effects of the service quality of smartphone applications on users beliefs, perceived usefulness and easiness and 2) the effects of the user beliefs as mediating variables on users' attitude, satisfaction, and loyalty. A survey was conducted and SEM was employed to analyze the data. The results showed that the service quality of smartphone applications affect users' attitude, satisfaction, and loyalty through the mediating variables.
The Effects of Different Information Visualizations on Decision Quality in a Web Environment

Depending on the ways of information visualization, information can be interpretable, easy to understand, and represented concisely and consistently. This study explores the effects of different information visualizations on decision quality in a Web environment by conducting a laboratory experiment. The results demonstrated that the effects of information visualizations on decision quality were significant. The findings suggest that information users in a Web environment can expect to improve their decision quality by enhancing information visualizations. This research extends a body of research examining not only the effects of factors that can be tied to human decision-making, but also the predictions of various information visualization usages in a Web environment.

병렬 케이블로봇은 케이블을 구동기로 사용하는 새로운 개념의 병렬로봇으로, 대형작업공간과 고동특성 거동의 특징을 가지고 있어 이를 활용한 산업분야 응용연구가 증가하고 있다. 특히, 초대형 전파망원경이나 스포츠중계용 고속이동 촬영시스템에 사용되고 있으며, 케이블 로봇 제어의 강건성과 정밀성을 개선하기 위해 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 병렬 케이블로봇을 구성하는 요소 중에 윈치시스템은, 엔드이펙터에 연결된 케이블의 길이와 장력을 조종하여 병렬 케이블로봇을 제어하는 핵심구성요소다. 본 논문에서는, 주요 윈치에러 요인들을 감지하는 센서를 윈치에 탑재하고 에러 대응 알고리즘을 개발 및 사용함으로써, 윈치의 에러 대응성을 높여 로봇의 강건성을 향상시킨 스마트 윈치시스템의 개발 내용과 병렬 케이블로봇에 적용한 결과를 보인다. The cable-driven parallel robot (CDPR) is a new type of robot different from traditional serial and parallel robots, with a large workspace and high dynamic characteristics. Applications of CDPR in industrial fields have significantly increased. In particular, CDPR has been successfully applied to huge radio telescope systems and high-speed moving camera systems for sports broadcasting. Along with diverse applications, various studies are being conducted to improve the robust and precise control of CDPR. Among the components of CDPR, the winch that controls cable length and tension is one of the key components directly affecting control performance. An algorithm utilizing sensors equipped in a winch to detect winch errors can improve the robustness of robots by providing the winch with the ability to compensate for errors. Performance testing of the smart winch system was carried out, including CDPR positioning tests using the smart winches.
