Purpose:The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of therapeutic exercise on the grip strength of chronic neck pain patients. Methods:Sixteen chronic neck pain patients were recruited this study(8 females. 8 males) from 21 to 30 years of age(mean aged 24.44). The experimental group received contraction-relax exercise for more than 3-5 times with therapeutic massage for 15minutes per day and three times a week during 5 weeks period. Grip strength was measured by Grip Strength Dynamometer (Model: T.K.K, 5101, Japan) at pre, 3weeks, 5weeks and follow-up 2weeks. Statistical analysis was used repeated ANOVA to know difference within period. Results:The grip strength was significantly increased within treatment period(p<.05), among them significantly increased within pre-treatment and follow-up 2weeks(p<.05). Conclusion:These results indicate that therapeutic exercise increased grip strength of chronic neck pain patients. Grip strength was more increased at follow-up 2weeks. In the future, we suggest that studies of therapeutic exercise regarding chronic neck pain patient be further studied and an appropriate therapeutic exercise will be indicated.

This study develops quantitative indicators of monitoring stages that can measure the effects of urban regeneration projects, suggests ways to apply them to priority regions, and suggests future policy directions. To this end, we developed the urban regeneration monitoring indicator and applied it to 13 priority regions. The conclusion of this study are as follows. First, based on domestic·overseas case studies and selection criteria, we developed social, economic and physical indicators. Second, it is applied to 13 priority regions for the resident population of the social aspect, the card sales of the economic aspect, and the number of building permission of the physical aspect. Third, the resident population, card sales, number of building permission were used to derive regional trends and characteristics of the indicators according to time series. The limitation of this study is that only the change of the monitoring indicators were analyzed and it did not reflect actual project progress status. Therefore, it is possible to obtain meaningful results by comparing the budget input amount according to the progress of the urban regeneration project

A vector control method is applied to an induction motor controller for an elevator drive system. Conventional control methods to keep the secondary magnetic flux constant have a problem to decrease efficiency of an induction motor at balanced load torque regions generated frequently in operating modes of elevator. Thus energy saving control method is suitable to improve the efficiency of an induction motor at balanced load torque regions by controlling ratio of secondary magnetic flux to torque as to minimize input power of an induction motor at a given motor torque even transient states. We analyzed the effect of the flux variance in the elevator drive, and we propose the suitable controller, The effects of the energy saving were verified m the actual elevator system drive.
