모세관(capillary tube)은 일정면적식 팽창기구의 대표적인 것으로서 사용역사가 길고, 신뢰성이 높고, 가격이 저럼하므로 냉동공조시스템의 냉매제어장치로 매우 많이 사용되고 있다. 이것은 냉동시스템의 응축기와 증발기 사이에서 유입하는 고압의 액상냉매를 증발기에서 증발하기 쉬운 증발압력까지 압력을 강하시키는 감압팽창작용과 증발기의 증발 용량에 적당한 냉매 질량유량을 공급하는 역할 (이 작용은 냉동시스템의 용량과 작동범위를 결정하는데 매우 중요하다.)을 한다. 이 글에서는 모세관의 형상, 재질 및 그장 . 단점과 작동원리, 내부 유동현상 등 일반적인 사항에 관하여 기술한다.
Methyl ethyl Ketone - Alcohol 계의 기액평형에 있어서 비휘발도와 액조성과의 관계

Vapor-liquid equilibrium data for the binary systems of methanol-methyl ethyl ketone, ethanol-methyl ethyl ketone, methyl ethyl ketone-n-propanol and methyl ethyl ketone-n-butanol were investigated. In these systems, vapor-liquid equilibrium data for methyl ethyl ketone-n-propanol and methyl ethyl ketone-n-butanol system were measured under atmospheric pressure. In order to confirm the accuracy of experimental results, the x-y data obtained are thermodynamically analyzed with the Herington's consistency test, and checked with the relations of activity coefficients and Q-functions to the liquid phase compositions. It was shown that the logarithmic value of relative volalility (log α) exhibited a linear function of the liquid composition (x) for systems. And these linear relationships for each of four systems indicate a strong tendency falling into a single point, when each line is extended. The present study proposed the empirical equations by which x-y data for each binary system of methyl ethyl ketone-alcohols can be estimated. And the x-y data estimated by the proposed equations are compared with the experimental data, and proved to be in a good coincidence with them.

This paper contains a verification of simulation program to predict the capacity of a condenser used in car air-conditioners. Verification of simulation program is carried out with the comparison error between experiment and simulation bounds within 3.5%. The present investigation shows the results for heat transfer rates of condenser under different operating conditions, such as velocity and degree of superheat. The range of front velocity of air is 1∼5m/s. As the front velocity is increased, the heat transfer rate of condenser is largely increased at a low velocity range. In a meanwhile, heat transfer rate of condenser is almost constant in a range of velocity over 3m/s. As for the effect of inlet pressure of refrigerant on the heat transfer rate, we obtained the similar trend of heat transfer rates as like varying the front velocity, Also we have calculated the heat transfer rates with varying inlet superheats of refrigerant, the larger the superheat is, the more heat transfer rate is obtained.

The distribution performance of refrigerant distributors in air conditioner evaporators was examined numerically and experimentally. Internal flow analysis of the distributor by CFD found that the distance from the socket to the cone, the angle of the cone and the base area of the cone were the most important factors affecting refrigerant distribution ability and vortex creation. To enhance distribution performance, two distributors with improved internal structures were designed. To test these new structures, distribution performance was also analyzed by CFD and an empirical experiment was carried out using the water-nitrogen. Experimental results on the distribution fraction of each distributor hole showed a good agreement with the results of the CFD analysis. Thus,the new design of the distributors enhanced distribution performance of the refrigerant distributors.
