Objectives: This study was conducted to review the overall concept of nutritional evaluation of infants and young children. Methods: Literature search was done to study definition, method and importance of nutritional evaluation of infants and young children. Pubmed and Google scholarship were used in the research. Search words were 'Nutritional evaluation', 'infants' and 'young children'. Results: Nutrition evaluation is mainly used by physical measurement, clinical evaluation, dietary intake survey, and biochemical test depending on the age and disease. The treatment method for 治未病, which is a concept of korean medicine, and 健兒法 for treating the concept of weak children are considered to have very high applicability in solving various problems found through nutrition evaluation in korean medical approach. Conclusion: Infants and children are the fastest growing period of their lives, showing rapid growth in physical, and emotional development along with rapid brain growth. Therefore, inadequate nutrition during this period affects mental and physical growth and development not only during that period but also throughout life. Nutrition evaluation is divided into regular evaluation that includes children in all growing seasons and screening evaluation for problem solving, and follow-up nutritional evaluation that evaluates nutritional status in the long run. For each nutritional evaluation, evaluation is conducted by physical measurement, clinical evaluation, dietary intake survey, and biochemical test. By comprehensively interpreting them, nutritional status is determined. This study provides basic data on the proper nutrition evaluation method to identify and correct nutritional problems such as growth level, nutritional deficiency, and nutritional excess early.

안드로이드와 같이 패턴 잠금을 기본으로 하는 스마트폰 OS가 보급 되면서 패턴 잠금이 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 현재의 패턴 잠금 시스템은 패턴 입력의 실수와 악의적인 접근에 의한 입력에 대해 동일한 페널티를 부여하기 때문에 보안에 취약한 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 입력 패턴의 분석방법을 제안하고 분석을 통해, 패턴을 ‘일치’, ‘부분 일치’와 ‘불일치’로 분류하여 그에 따른 페널티의 여부를 달리함으로써 보안을 강화하는 방법을 제시한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate physiological and subjective sweat responses of elderly and young males in hot and humid environments. Nine elderly and 11 young males participated in the following experimental conditions: WBGT 27℃ (Air temperature 30℃, and air humidity 70%RH) and WBGT 32℃ (35℃, 70%RH) with two activity levels (sitting on a chair for 60 min and walking on a treadmill for 60 min). The walking speeds were 4.0 km/hr for young males and 2.3 km/hr for elderly males. The results showed that 1) total sweating rate was 34.3% and 36.6% smaller for the elderly than for the young in WBGT 27℃ and 32℃, respectively (p<.05). Skin hydration at rest was less for the elderly than for the young in both WBGT 27℃ and 32-℃. The skin of the young males was quickly and evenly saturated throughout the whole body from the beginning in WBGT 32℃, whereas the elderly males’ skin was slowly and unevenly saturated. At rest, elderly males expressed greater humidity and sweat sensations in WBGT 27℃ than in WBGT 32℃ which was interpreted as perceptual confusions, while such perceptual confusions were not found during exercise in either WBGT 27℃ or WBGT 32℃. These results suggest that the elderly’s perspiration and other sweat responses in hot and humid environments were impaired psychologically as well as physiologically.

Gait analysis trackers have been developed to monitor daily gait patterns to improve users’ running performance and reduce the risk of injuries. A variety of gait analysis trackers are available on the market(e.g., foot pods, insoles). Depending on the type of gait analysis tracker, users’ discomfort or satisfaction as well as required properties may differ. Hence, the purpose of this study was to compare and analyze user experience of three different types of commercial shoe-mounted gait analysis trackers and their mobile applications in a laboratory environment using questionnaires based on actual experiences of each product. Ten males and ten females who regularly enjoy walking and running exercises participated in the experiment. After the participants set up the tracker and application themselves without support from researchers, ten to thirty minutes’ exercise was permitted on each product. Following this, the participants answered questionnaires containing evaluation variables on the device and mobile application, as well as satisfaction, intention to use, recommendation, and purchase. In addition, they were asked questions about the attractive features and shortcomings of each device and application. The results showed that the PRO-SPECS® smart insole was preferred over the others for ease of use, perceived durability, psychological burden of the design, and usefulness of the information provided by the application. Along with the results of questionnaire, this study also discussed strategies and recommendations for future product design and development.

This study revealed the motivation of Korean and Chinese teenagers to use TikTok, which is newly available on existing social media, and examined the impact of the motivation on their usage behavior. To this end, an online survey was conducted(N=312), and the data were conducted using the SPSS 25 program for factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. As a result of the research, self-expression, time-sending, and information pursuit were derived for the motivation of Korean youth, while entertainment/information pursuit, communication, self-expression, and time-spending were derived for the motivation of Chinese youth. In the case of Korean teenagers, the time-spending system has a significant impact on their usage behavior. However, it was found that self-expression and pursuit of information do not affect the hours and frequency of use. In addition, in the case of Chinese teenagers, the pursuit of entertainment and communication among the use motivation had a significant impact on the hours and frequency of use. However, it was found that self-expression and time-spending do not affect the hours and frequency of use. This can contribute to providing theoretical implications for the functions required by traditional Tiktok.

The present study investigated regional and sex differences in knowledge, perception, cognition and behavior of fine-dust protective masks for periods of high concentration of fine dust in Korea. A total of 2,012 adults from seven provinces responded to the questionnaire. The results (all p<.05) showed that 78% of respondents considered pollution from China to be the greatest contributor of fine dust. Seoul and Gyeonggi residents more frequently checked fine dust forecasts than other provinces and consulted their smartphone applications to do so more than other residents. Jeju, Gwangwon, and Jeonla residents had less knowledge of KF 80, 94, and 99 masks than residents of other provinces. Gwangwon and Jeju residents had less trust in the effectiveness of protective masks than other residents. Females perceived themselves as unhealthier respiratory, more frequently checked the concentration of fine dust, trusted more the effectiveness of masks, and more frequently wore masks, compared to male respondents. Those who self-identified their respiratory function as poor, more frequently checked fine dust forecasting, and had greater knowledge of masks, which resulted in greater trust in the protective function of masks, and finally had higher wear frequency of masks for days with high concentrations of fine dust.
