This paper presents a study of the influence of fixed pressure in turning. The effect of roundness error and diameter deformation were studied with respect to the fixed pressure applied inside the cylindrical work piece made by boring tool in CNC lathe. The boring tool used in this study is a tungsten carbide coated. The material of workpiece is SM45C and the machining method is dry cutting. Cutting conditions as cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut are constant. Finally, the change of fixed pressure had influence on the roundness error and diameter deformation.

To prevent the expansion of the significant train accident due to the misjudgement of the commanded-type railway traffic controller, it is necessary to analyze the conventional train traffic control process of that and to complement the domestic train operation rule. In this study, based on the report of Korea Aviation and Railway Accident Investigation Board, the train accidents observed the domestic commanded-type railway traffic controller is examined. Furthermore, appropriateness of the domestic related rules is reviewed. The safety requirements of the commanded-type railway traffic control system are proposed.

In the event of continued train operation being impossible as the result of a breakdown, it will be essential to dispatch a relieftrain to recover the broken down train. Operation of relief train carries with the risk of collision in the process of connection with brokendown train. The present study looks at the suitability of risk management procedures and associated problems in the light of case studiesof relief train operation, and of national legal standards and railroad company regulations. It looks at appropriate methods of riskmanagement and the problems that can arise. Based on the study a method is proposed of operating the relief train which is consistentwith appropriate risk management. The proposed method will improve the safety of relief train operation, It is hoped that the results of thestudy will be reflected in relevant laws and operating company regulations, and so contribute to enhancing the overall level of railroadsafety.

This paper presents the results of an experimental study on the destruction condition of high strength concrete with compressive strengths of 74-184 ㎫ when subjected to impact by 7.0㎜ sphere projectile at velocity speed about 350 m/s. The results indicate that the penetration depth in target specimens exhibit an overall reduction with an increase in the compressive strength of the concrete. However, when there is the back destruction in target specimens, the level of brittle fracture exhibit an overall increase with an increase in the compressive strength of the concrete.
