인문예술적 소양을 지닌 공학도의 전공 선택 동기와 진로 모색 경험에 관한 질적 사례 탐구

이공계 분야에서 인문학적 소양을 접목하는 요구가 높아지고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 인문 예술적 성향을 가졌음에도 이공계 분야로 진학할 수밖에 없었던 공학도의 삶 속에 서 나타나는 진학 동기를 살펴보고 진로 모색 과정과 학업 병행에 관한 경험을 질적으 로 이해하는 것이다. 연구자는 연구참여자(현웅)를 대상으로 2009년 12월부터 2010년 10월 사이에 실시한 네 번의 심층면담과 2016년 8월에 실시한 후속 면담을 질적으로 분 석하였다. 연구참여자는 어머니를 봉양해야 하는 현실적인 여건을 고려하여 기계공학과 에 진학하게 되었으며, 그 이후에 직장 경력을 거치면서 점차 컴퓨터 분야에서 학업과 직업을 동시에 추구하는 진로 탐색 과정을 보여주었다. 그 과정에서 그는 학문을 통해 자신의 삶을 조망하는 패턴과 가족 부양에 따른 그만의 진로 모색 과정에서 나타나는 특징을 보여주었다. 연구자는 인문 예술적 소양과 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 작업과의 연계성, 진로모색의 과정에서 나타나는 특징 그리고 사회문화적 맥락과의 관련성으로 나누어 질 적 사례를 묘사하였다. This paper aims at qualitatively understanding the experiences of career exploration and academic work by describing a life path where how a young student selected an engineering major even though he was oriented toward human-artistic field. The author qualitatively analyzed the in-depth interview data conducted 4 times between 2009 Dec and 2010 Oct with extra follow-up data collected in 2016. A single participant selected to persue mechanical engineering major as he realized to support his mother and pursued another degrees in the computer related areas afterwards. His case illustrates integrative aspects of liberal art and computer programming as part of career development and its perspectives from social and cultural viewpoints. His case reveals integrative aspects of connecting his inner liberal art backgrounds and computing experiences, and the features of his unique career path conditioned by his responsibility for family support.

초상화법 질적 연구 방법과 수행 절차에 관한 탐구

This study aims to introduce theoretical backgrounds and research processes of portraiture methodology to help qualitative researchers carry out the methodology with practical guidelines. The researcher can collect high quality data set using in-depth interviews based on an ally relationship with participants and co-participating processes of intimate conversation. The method is quite different from other approaches in that how the researcher probes with participants in order to explore major aspects of theme based on the principle of sympathetic introspection. This paper presented three major parts: conducting portraiture methodology; conducting in-depth interview; articulating meanings and writing portraits. It turned out that the ‘participants as an ally’ relationship plays a major role in increasing the level of communication with participant as well as validity of portrait writings.

배려와 소통을 추구하는 수학교사의 전문성 신장 경험에 관한 질적 사례 연구

The aim of this paper was to explore and understand a math teacher’s experiences of taking diverse teacher training programs in order to promote students’ learning math and growing up as a professional in-service teacher. In-depth interviews were conducted twice between September and October in 2013 with 1 in-service teacher who had more than 20 years of teaching math. The case study highlights her passion and caring for those students who are often seen as ‘off the learning track’ due to accumulated deficit of learning. Her larger aspects of such efforts illustrates deep concerns towards a better math education based on listening to her students’ voices and complementing learning deficiencies with her own team-based teaching strategies. This portrait study depicts her motivation of becoming ended up with adopting a community of learning model in her math class, her ways of caring the students who needed complementary learning, and her fulfillment felt during math teaching.

생태예술 창작공연 사례 : 「순천 새꽃춤: 흑두루미가 꽃을 만나다」

This study explored the case of creating and performing “Suncheon Bird Flower Dance: Hooded Crane Meets Flower” by adapting the story of a hooded crane in Suncheon. The researchers obtained the following results by collecting and qualitatively analyzing choreography notes, photos, videos, memos, dialogues and performance pamphlets from August to November 2021. First, from the point of view of ecological art, we carried out choreography work for flower dance and hooded crane gestures based on sympathetic movements. Second, it revealed the convergent aspects of performance characteristics especially by using the photos of the hooded cranes in accordance with the live music performance for the scenery of Suncheon Bay and adopting a tea ceremony performance. Third, to implement the proposed creative crane dance, this case showed the transformation process of traditional Hakyeonhwadaemu in the scenes where the hooded crane meets and hangs out with a flower girl (woman) who is blooming and becoming a lotus flower. 이 연구는 순천 지역의 흑두루미 이야기를 각색하여 ‘순천 새꽃춤: 흑두루미가 꽃을만나다’ 작품을 창작하고 공연한 사례를 탐구하였다. 연구자는 2021년 8월부터 11월까지 안무 노트, 사진, 동영상, 메모, 대화 및 공연 팸플릿 등을 수집하고 질적으로 분석하여다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 우리는 생태예술의 관점에서 감응적 움직임에 기반한꽃춤과 흑두루미 몸짓 등의 안무 작업을 진행하였다. 둘째, 라이브 음악 연주에 맞추어순천만의 풍광 및 흑두루미 사진을 활용하였으며 다친 흑두루미가 회복하는 과정에서다례 퍼포먼스를 도입하는 등 융합적인 공연 특징을 보여주었다. 셋째, 흑두루미는 연꽃소품 속에서 피어나는 화심(여인)과 만나서 어울리다가 새로운 세계(이상향)로 비상하는장면에서 학연화대무 와 대비되는 창작학춤의 변용 과정을 보여주었다. 넷째, 이 공연사례는 지역에서 창작춤을 제작하고 공연하는 작업에 대하여 성찰하고 후속 방향에대한 시사점을 제공해 주었다.

순천만국제자연환경미술제에서 예술 작품을 감상한 심미적 경험에 관한 탐구

이 논문은 대학 교수가 순천만 정원에서 개최되었던 국제자연환경미술제를 방문하면서 예술 작품을 감상하고 더 나아가 비평 활동 및 행위를 통한 작품과의 교감을 통하여 심미적 탐구를 함으로써 예술적으로 성장하는 내용을 다루고 있다. 감상자인 ‘나’는 예술작품이 설치되기 이전부터 그 현장에 가서 작품이 완성되는 과정, 전시회 중에 감상한 경험, 사진 찍기 및 비평적 글쓰기 활동을 하였으며 특정 작품 앞에서 퍼포먼스를 하면서 작품들과 교감하고 비평하는 경험을 하였다. 이러한 과정에서 ‘나’는 예술가/연구자/교육자의 역할을 통합적으로 수행하면서 지나간 기억, 자전적 이야기, 성찰, 해석 등을 통하여 예술 작품에 관한 감상/비평 경험을 심미적으로 탐구하였다. 자료 수집은 2016 년11월부터 2017년 2월 사이에 걸쳐 창작 과정에 관한 성찰 메모, 사진, 동영상, 작가의 방송 인터뷰 자료 및 자전적 기억 자료를 중심으로 이루어졌다. 나는 예술 기반 연구방법으로 알려진 a/r/tography를 차용하여 예술적 감식안을 통해 작품과 상호작용하면서 자기수양의 과정으로 성장하는 측면을 묘사하였다. 그리고 마지막에 생태와 예술을 연계한 문화예술교육 현장에 던지는 시사점을 제시하였다. This paper dealt with the author’s biographical experiences for appreciating art works regarding natural environment situated in Suncheon garden. I, as a researcher, presented how I got involved with attending Suncheon Bay International Eco-Environmental Art Festival to appreciate art works while meeting some participating artists. My personal narratives also included how I gradually developed artistic perspectives after engaging myself in taking photos and writing an essay critique on the outdoor art works. In this paper, I conducted an autobiographical case study combining a/r/tography as an art-based method and narrative inquiry regarding my aesthetic experiences of appreciating eco-environmental art work and occasional performance next to art work. Data collection was done between 2016 Nov and 2017 Feb including reflective memo taking, photos, video clips, public interview data and self-memory. Based on data interpretation, I depicted the major aspects of my aesthetic experiences by articulating the subjective unfolding of my inner artistic eyes as part of cultivating myself. At the end, I provided some comments for culture and arts education from the perspectives of eco-environmental arts.

심층면담을 활용한 박물관 교육 연구에 관한 사례 고찰

박물관을 방문하는 관람객과 박물관 프로그램을 기획, 전시 및 운영하는 사람들에 대한 연구는 크게 설문 조사와 관찰 및 면담을 사용하여 진행된다. 이 논문의 목적은 박물관 교육에 대한 질적 연구에서 사용되는 면담 자료 수집 방법을 소개하고 사례를 비교 고찰함으로써 심층면담의 적용에 대한 이해를 높이는데 있다. 통상 박물관 관련 질적 연구 논문들은 질적 사례 연구가 주종을 이루고 있으며 1-2시간에 걸친 면담을 1-2회 가량 사용한 것으로 나타났다. 박물관 및 미술관 체험을 다룬 연구에서 면담 또는 심층면담을 적용한 사례(현 상학적 접근, 질적 사례 연구 및 생애사)들은 전시물 및 예술품 감상에 관한 개인의 주관적 경험과 사회적 맥락과의 관련성을 풍부하게 묘사하는 경향을 보여주었다. 끝으로 박물관 교육에 관한 연구대상자들과의 친 밀한 관계형성을 토대로 심층면담을 적용하여 탐구해야 할 방향에 대하여 제안하였다.

이공계 대학생을 위한 Mathematica 기반의 화이트박스 이러닝 콘텐츠 설계 및 개발

본 논문의 목적은 미적분에 관한 보충학습을 요하는 이공계 대학생들을 위하여 공업수학의 벡터미적분 교육을 중심으로 개념적 이해와 계산 과정의 단계별 풀이를 보여주는 웹 기반 이러닝 콘텐츠를 설계 및 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 먼저 수학교육용 소프트웨어에 관한 고찰을 하였으며 학교 수학에서 등장하는 문제해결의 과정을 규칙 재작성으로 처리함으로써 화이트박스 형태의 콘텐츠 제작에 관한 이론적 토대를 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 Mathematica의 패턴 매칭을 이용하여 미분과 적분 연산자를 구현하였고, 이를 벡터미적분에서 등장하는 매개변수화된 곡선에 대한 길이 구하기 문제에 적용함으로써 콘텐츠 개발의 예를 제시하였다. 튜토리얼 형태로 개발된 이러닝 콘텐츠는 단계별 풀이 과정이 나오는 실습하기 콘텐츠와 퀴즈 문제를 통하여 학습자의 과정을 진단해 주는 형성평가 모듈로 구성되었다. 끝으로 개발된 이러닝 콘텐츠의 특징과 이공계 대학생들의 수학에 관한 기초학력을 증진하는데 활용될 수 있는 장점을 살펴보았으며 향후 연구 방향을 제시하였다.
