Background: An activating mutation (c.617A>C/p.Lys206Arg, L206R) in protein kinase cAMP-activated catalytic subunit alpha(PRKACA) has been reported in 35% to 65% of cases of cortisol-producing adenomas (CPAs). We aimed to compare the clinical characteristics and transcriptome analysis between PRKACA L206R mutants and wild-type CPAs in Korea. Methods: We included 57 subjects with CPAs who underwent adrenalectomy at Seoul National University Hospital. Sanger sequencing for PRKACA was conducted in 57 CPA tumor tissues. RNA sequencing was performed in 13 fresh-frozen tumor tissues. Results: The prevalence of the PRKACA L206R mutation was 51% (29/57). The mean age of the study subjects was 42±12 years, and 87.7% (50/57) of the patients were female. Subjects with PRKACA L206R mutant CPAs showed smaller adenoma size (3.3±0.7 cm vs. 3.8±1.2 cm, P=0.059) and lower dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate levels (218±180 ng/mL vs. 1,511±3,307 ng/mL, P=0.001) than those with PRKACA wild-type CPAs. Transcriptome profiling identified 244 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between PRKACA L206R mutant (n=8) and wild-type CPAs (n=5), including five upregulated and 239 downregulated genes in PRKACA L206R mutant CPAs (|fold change| ≥2, P<0.05). Among the upstream regulators of DEGs, CTNNB1 was the most significant transcription regulator. In several pathway analyses, the Wnt signaling pathway was downregulated and the steroid biosynthesis pathway was upregulated in PRKACA mutants. Protein-protein interaction analysis also showed that PRKACA downregulates Wnt signaling and upregulates steroid biosynthesis. Conclusion: The PRKACA L206R mutation in CPAs causes high hormonal activity with a limited proliferative capacity, as supported by transcriptome profiling.

금속원자 반응기를 사용하여 몰리브덴 금속증기와 1,3-butadiene 유도체를 반응시켜서 (${\eta}^4$-CH$_2$CRCR'CH$_2$)$_3$Mo(R, R'= H 또는 CH$_3$)를 합성하였으며, 이 때 생성된 유기금속화합물에 대한 1,3-butadiene 유도체의 메틸치환기 효과에 대하여 논의하였다. 그리고 몰리브덴 금속증기와 다른 몇 가지 알카디엔화합물을 반응시켜서 유기금속화합물이 형성됨을 확인하였으며 이들은 공기 중의 실온에서 쉽게 분해 되었다. 또한 (${\eta}^4$-CH$_2$CCH$_3$CCH$_3$CH$_2$)$_3$Mo와 일산화탄소를 반응시켜서 (C$_6$H$_{10}$)$_2$(CO)$_3$Mo를 합성하였으며 이 화합물의 금속-리간드 결합에 관하여 논하였다. Various tris (${\eta}^4$-diene) molybdenums were easily synthesized by the reaction of various 1,3-dienes and molybdenum metal vapors by using metal atom reactor. The methyl substituent effect of the tris (${\eta}^4$-diene) molybdenum produced were discussed. And some alkadiene-molybdenum complexes which were easily decomposed in the air at room temperature were also formed.(C$_6$H$_{10}$)$_2$(CO)$_3$Mo were synthesized and its molybdenum-diene bond type were discussed.

The thermal decomposition of AUC[Ammonium Uranyl Carbonate (NH₄)₄UO₂(CO₃)₃] has been carried out by using TG(Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis) and DTA(Differential Thermal Analysis) in N₂, CO₂, and H₂ atmospheres, respectively. For studying the AUC thermal decomposition in reducing atmospheres hydrogen concentration was varied from 5 to 100%. Various intermediate phases produced from AUC decomposition with different atmospheres were confirmed by X-ray analysis. With release of CO₂, NH₃ and H₂O, AUC was decomposed to amorphous UO₃ up to 300℃. On further heating, the amorphous UO₃ was transformed to α-U₃O_8 via α-UO₃ regardless of applied atmospheres. α-U₃O_8 was further reduced to UO₂ only in a hydrogen atmosphere. Formation temperature of intermediates, heat of reaction and residual amounts remained in decomposed amorphous UO₃ etc. were presented. Also, effects of applied atmospheres on these parameters were discussed.
아동병동 환아 어머니가 인지한 간호사의 의사소통유형과 간호사와의 파트너십, 불안이 대처에 미치는 영향

Purpose: This descriptive study aimed to identify the contribution of nurses’ communication styles, nurse-mother partnerships, and mothers’ anxiety levels to the coping of mothers of hospitalized children, with the goal of establishing effective intervention strategies based on these factors. Methods: Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from July 12 to October 29, 2018. The study’s participants were 200 hospitalized children’s mothers in the pediatric ward of a university hospital. Results: The coping of hospitalized children’s mothers showed a significant relationship with nurses’ informative communication style (r=.26, p<.001), affective communication style (r=.28, p<.001), nurse-mother partnership (r=.50, p<.001), authoritative communication style (r=-.28, p<.001), and mothers’ anxiety (r=-.23, p=.001). A multiple regression analysis (adjusted R2=.32) indicated that the factors affecting the mothers’ coping included nurse-mother partnership (β=.47, p<.001), another caregiver (yes) (β=.17, p=.006), and mothers’ subjective health status (very healthy) (β=.15, p=.047). Conclusion: Considering that the formation of cooperative partnerships between mothers and nurses found in this study had a positive effect on the mothers’ coping skills, it appears necessary to develop and implement programs for improving nurses’ communication skills and ability to form partnerships, beginning from undergraduate education.
