In order to automatically provide information on fruits in agricultural related broadcasting contents, instance image segmentation of target fruits is required. In addition, the information on the 3D pose of the corresponding fruit may be meaningfully used. This paper represents research that provides information about tomatoes in video content. A large amount of data is required to learn the instance segmentation, but it is difficult to obtain sufficient training data. Therefore, the training data is generated through a data augmentation technique based on a small amount of real images. Compared to the result using only the real images, it is shown that the detection performance is improved as a result of learning through the synthesized image created by separating the foreground and background. As a result of learning augmented images using images created using conventional image pre-processing techniques, it was shown that higher performance was obtained than synthetic images in which foreground and background were separated. To estimate the pose from the result of object detection, a point cloud was obtained using an RGB-D camera. Then, cylinder fitting based on least square minimization is performed, and the tomato pose is estimated through the axial direction of the cylinder. We show that the results of detection, instance image segmentation, and cylinder fitting of a target object effectively through various experiments.

Recently, measurement accuracy of a non contact 3D scanner has been rapidly improving. As a result, the number application cases of non contact 3D scanners are increasing. A non contact 3D scanner is capable of measuring a free formed surface rapidly and has high resolution. It is more affordable and potable than the CMMs, It is therefore expected to be applied more frequently in more diverse industries. Automating the measuring process using a non contact 3D scanner and developing a technology, which allows a user to measure easily, will eventually improve the quality of products. As their inspection and analysis processes improve.

Recently, optical 3D scanners are freque Microsoft Office Outlook .lnk 시작 ntly used for inspection of Parts, assembly and manufacturing tool. The paper presents a 3D Automatic measurement system using a robot and 3D scanner. Owing to recent advances in high-resolution image sensing technology, high power illumination technology, and high speed microprocessors, the accuracy and resolution of optical 3D scanners are being improved rapidly. In order to measure the entire geometry of objects, multiple scans have to be performed in various setups by moving either the objects or the scanner. This paper introduces novel methods to measure the entire geometry of objects by automatically changing the setups and then aligning the scanned data. To accomplish this task, graphical method is an effective solution by controlling its configuration. We conducted experiments to confirm of our method.

After the high-resolution cameras came out to the market, high-resolution and high-accuracy data can be acquired in the field of 3D optical measurement. Lately, a hand-free 3D scanner with using this new technology has been rapidly improved. This 3D scanner is portable as well as much smaller than CMM. Thus, it is anticipated using it more in the variety of industries. However, handling the massive data of 3D measurement is now becoming a big problem. Therefore, we would like to introduce efficient data compressing method using LOD(level of detail) that maintains the feature and handling the massive data very effectively.
