대화형 GEO 위성 네트워크를 위한 우선권기반 동적 데이터 전송률 스케줄링 체계

In this paper, the return link of interactive GEO satellite network providing multimedia services is considered. First, we classify data by delay characteristics, and analyze the numbers of expected lost packets and expected delay packets for each data class of each terminal. Next we mathematically formulate optimal rate scheduling model to minimize the weighted sum of the numbers of expected lost packets and expected delay packets considering priority of each data class. We also suggest a dynamic rate scheduling scheme based on Lagrangean relaxation technique and subgradient technique to solve the proposed model in a fast time. Extensive experiments show that the proposed scheme provides encouraging results.

Electronic commerce (E-commerce) is a new way of engaging in timeless activities interafcting, bartering and transacting with people and businesses. However, as in any other means of business, we cannot assume all players will abide by a code of moral conduct. The mere fact that business is being performed online over an insecure medium, for example the Internet, is enough to induce criminal activity. To this end, a number of protocols and technical solutions have been introduced to assure ind users and businesses of privacy and confidentiality in online transactions. The Secure Electronic Transaction (SET) is an imirging standard for secure credit card payments over the Internet. SET can be applied in a real-time environment such as a Web session or in a store-and-forward manner such as electronic mail. This paper introduces SET, and analyzes security assurance technologies such as hash function. encryption algoritm and identity certification technology used in SET and other E-commerce protocols. Finally, thes paper analyzes electronic signature techniques such as digital and dual signatures being used in SET, and digital multisignature, proxy signature, group signature and group membership proof which have to be additionally considered in implementing complete and secure E-commerce.

Recent attempts to reform spectrum management and control structures give an excellent opportunity to provide new frequency pricing approaches which reflect the ecnomic value of frequency bands and promote their efficient use. The economic value of frequencies depends on several parameters, such as the bandwidth of occupied channels, their location in the radio spectrum, their service area, and the types of services supplied. Several frequency pricing models have been suggested in the literature. Kalman suggested a model considering the bandwidth of the channel used, the average reuse ratio of the channel in the service area concerned, the population in millions receiving the signal or excluded from the reception of other signals transmitted on the same frequency, and the population in millions of the reference area. Huet suggested a model to promote the intensive as well as the extensive development of the spectrum, but the model failed to encourage geographic sharing of frequencies. And the Austrailian Spectrum Management Agency (SMA) proposed a model which is a completely discontinuous. The model is certainly the most comprehensive one which intends to cover the SMA's overhead costs and to recover scarcity as well as different rents. This paper, finally, introduces the frequency pricing model being used in Korea, and suggests a new model to solve some problems with that model and efficiently reflect the economic value of frequency spectrum.
멀티셀 CDMA 이동통신시스템을 위한 전송출력/전송률 할당체계

본 논문에서는 다수의 셀로 구성된 CDMA 시스템의 순방향 링크를 대상으로 지연 및 PRER 제약과 전송출력 제약 하에서 데이터 전송률과 사용자간 형평성을 반영한 총효용을 최대화하기 위한 각 기지국의 총평균전송출력과 각 사용자의 데이터 전송률 할당 체계를 제시한다. 실험을 통해 모든 셀을 동시에 고려하는 OPARS(Optimal Power and Rate Allocation Scheme)가 각 셀을 개별적으로 고려는 SPRAS(Separate Power and Rate Allocation Scheme)에 비해 더 좋은 해를 제공한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

전 세계적인 전자상거래 열기에도 불구하고 여전히 많은 기업과 소비자는 전자상거래에 적극적으로 동참하기를 주저하고 있는데 이것의 가장 큰 이유 중의 하나로 신뢰성이 거론되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실증적 연구를 통해 전자상거래의 신뢰도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 도출해 낸다. 또한 전자상거래의 경험 정도에 따라 각 신뢰성 요인과 신뢰도 그리고 구매의도에 어떠한 차이가 나타나는지 살펴보고 마지막으로 신뢰도와 구매의도의 관계를 분석한다. 이러한 연구 결과는 전자상거래 활성화를 위한 적절한 전략 모색과 전자상거래 이용환경의 개선 방안 수립을 위한 방향을 제시해 줄 것이다.

In this paper, we consider broadband satellite networks using MF-TDMA (Multi-Frequency Time Division Multiple Access) scheme.
