Kalman Filter Estimation of a Company's Intangible Assets

A company's market value-added, which equals the excess of a company's market capitalization over it s book value, is used as one of the measures for intangible assets valuation in accounting literature. One problem with the approach is that the valuation results are affected by severe fluctuations in capital markets. In this paper, we propose an approach using the Kalman filter for intangible assets valuation. We apply this method to data of Korean electronic companies.

중년의 한 초등여교사의 지금-여기에서의 존재의 의미에 대한 해석학적 탐구

이 연구는 초등학교 중년 여교사의 삶의 의미가 어떤 것인지를 해석학적 연구 방 법을 통하여 이해하고자 하였다. 연구자 또한 중년의 여교사이지만 대부분의 중년 여교사들은 승진을 하지 못하면 어느 정도의 패배감을 안고 직장인으로서의 삶을 살 아가거나 50대 중반에 명예퇴직을 염두에 두고 자신의 교사생활을 살아가는 것이 일 반적인 경우이다. 하지만 연구자가 만난 그림책 선생님(가명)은 중년 여교사에 대한 이러한 선입관을 깨는 그런 삶을 살아가고 있었다. 그녀는 좋은 교사는 먼저 자신이 좋은 삶을 살아내야 하며, 좋은 삶을 살 수 있을 때 그것이 교육현장에서 아이들에 게, 동료 교사들에게 좋은 영향을 미친다고 믿고 있었다. 또한 삶의 한 순간 한 순간 을 지금-여기(here and now)에 존재하기를 애쓰며 배움에의 경험과 다양한 사람과 의 관계 맺기를 통하여 교사로서 그녀의 삶의 의미를 담아내고 있었다. 이 글에서 연 구자는 승진에 연연해하지 않고 자신의 배움을 삶 속에 녹여 내고, 교육현장에서 아이 사랑을 묵묵히 실천하며 동료 교사들에게 자신의 그 풍성한 배움의 결과들 을 나누어 주면서 충만한 삶을 살고 있는 중년 여교사의 삶을 독자들과 함께 나누 면서 중년 여교사가 교사로서의 삶을 행복하게 누리고 살아가는 것의 의미를 독 자들과 공유하고자 한다. This paper is to understand the life experiences of a middle-aged female elementary teacher, Picture Teacher(pseudonym) who has shaped her teacher-identity in a desirable way through hermeneutic inquiry. I chose a 46 year old female elementary teacher as a study participant. I inquired her life experiences through 3 interviews and 3 observations in her real life circumstances as well as artifacts that she showed to me on the basis of the recommended procedures of hermeneutic inquiry. Picture Teacher believes that a good teacher is a person who can live a good life with his or her own will, which can naturally be a good role model not only to one’s students but also to one s colleagues. And she tries to livehere and nowlife and wants to create meaningful life experiences by sharing the experiences with other teachers. I want to share the educational values uncovered by the inquiry into the life of Picture Teacher as a teacher. Specifically, the values are more focused on how to live a good life as a middle-aged teacher in the oppressive conditions most teachers struggle with. As a researcher, I can conclude that she does not think how other teachers think about herself but only concentrate on becoming a fully functioning human being through self-study. The results of this inquiry implies that teachers should be provided with a variety of adult learning spaces in which they are abel to create their own meanings and values as teachers.

최근의 정보처리에 있어서 중요한 진전은 그리드와 시맨틱웹이다. 이것들은 모두 ‘연결의 지능화’라고 요약할 수 있으며 모든 분야에 영향력을 강화해 나갈 것이며, 스마트 폰에 적용 가능한 분야이다. 이 중 시맨틱 웹은 차세대 웹 기술이자 최근 지능적인 지식처리에 관한 연구의 화두가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 시맨틱 웹의 구현을 위한 핵심 기술인 온톨로지를 스마트폰에 적용하고자 하는 방법에 대해 고찰해보고자 한다.

부상시스템에 관한 모델이 없이 제어기를 설계할 때는 제어기 이득을 예측하기 어렵기 때문에 실험을 통한 튜닝으로 적절한 이득을 정하고 있다. 대차 단위, 차량 단위의 실험을 통한 제어기 튜닝은 많은 시간과 인력을 필요로 하며 튜닝 과정에서 잘못된 이득 때문에 흡착과 낙하가 반복되면 대차와 차량에 기계적인 손상을 줄 수 있다. 본 논문은 일정 공극에서 전류를 변화시키면서 측정한 부상력 모델을 이용하는 제어기 설계에 관하여 기술한다.

문화소외지역 청소년 문화예술교육 사례 연구

오늘날 문화예술에 대한 깊이 있는 미적 교육은 저소득층 청소년의 정서함양 뿐만 아니라 나아가 사회 전체의 수준과 역량을 높이는데 필수적이다. 최근 10년간 우리나라에서도 문화예술교육에 대한 관심과 그에 관한 정책이 양적으로 활성화되고 있다. 하지만 지금까지 학계에서 논의된 주제는 ‘문화예술교육의 필요성’에 관한 단편적인 연구에 머물러 있는 경우가 많고, 보다 전략적이고 체계적으로 접근한 ‘문화예술을 통한 교육’의 다양한 사례에 관한 연구는 아직 미흡한 실정이다. ‘동아일보 청소년 문화예술교육 프로그램’의 연천사례는 문화소외지역의 청소년들에게 지자체와 기업, 언론사가 함께 참여하여 문화예술교육 기회를 제공한다. 본 사례의 배경과 특징 등을 분석함으로써 우리나라 문화예술교육 프로그램의 발전 가능한 방법들에 관한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 이러한 사례에 대한 분석은 보다 진취적이고 창의적인 문화예술교육과정을 생성할 수 있는 가이드라인으로서 매우 중요한 의미를 가진다. 본 교육과정의 주요 특징으로는 ‘이해와 공감을 통한 자아존중감의 재발견’, ‘교육과정의 스토리텔링화’, ‘문화예술교육 전문 인력 확보와 대학선배단과의 1:1 멘토링’, ‘협업관계를 통한 메세나의 효과적인 운영 프로세스’가 꼽혔다. 끝으로 본 연구의 시사점과 함께, 연구가 가지는 한계점과 미래 연구를 위한 방향설정에 대한 제언도 함께 논의하여 제시하였다. Providing in-depth education concerning culture and the arts is essential to improve communities as a whole and can also benefit low-income teenagers as a form of secondary gain. In the past ten years interest in cultural and art education policies and events has increased remarkably in Korea. However, many topics discussed in the academic discourse are fragmented and there is a lack of concrete case studies that would promote greater awareness and a foundation for future studies concerning this issue. Such an approach would allow a more rapid development of this field of study both from a strategic and systematic perspective. In this study the author examined the Yeoncheon City Project Sponsored by the Dong-A Daily News. This project provides teenagers from what might be defined as being relatively isolated from cultural and art education by allowing participation in such events that are developed in collaboration with local governments, and companies, such as the Dong-A Daily News. This present research focused on analyzing the underlying characteristics and history of this particular case study. Critical analyses of such events are of great importance to the ongoing improvement and replication these events. In terms of supporting the community as a whole and youth isolated from cultural and art education the author examined such dimensions as follows: "a rediscovery of self-respect through understanding and sympathy", " allowing cultural and art education to emerge as a form of story-telling, "developing more individuals specialized in cultural art education and 1:1 mentoring with university seniors", "ensuring an effective management process that is collaborative’.
