Optimum heat treatment producing P.C. wire is the most important for the further drawing. Drawability depends on the metallic microstructure and mechanical properties. Mechanical properties depend on the amount of pro-eutctoid ferrite and the fineness of pearlite. The amount of ferrite and the fineness of pearlite are dominated by the solid solution treatment and the cooling velocity from the sutenitizing temperature to the patenting temperature. Basides the above, the tension stress is very effective for ausenitizing and eutectoid reaction. The results obtained from this investigation could be summarized as follows. 1. Drawabdity was lowered by the precipitation of pro-eutectoid ferrite as the solid solution treating time was longer. 2. Slow cooling velocity from solid solution treating temperature to the isothermal transformation temperature made the drawability poor. 3. Solid solution treatment under tension stress was very effective for reducing the solid solution treating time and for refining the pearlite. 4. Solid solution treatment under tension stress and rapid cooling from 950 % to 540 % made the pearlite fine and increased drawability.

The precipitation of Co-rich particles in Au-Co alloys has been studied by electrical resistivity measurement and transmission electron microscope. The kinetics of precipitation could be well described by Johnson-Mehl-Avrami equation, f(t)=1-exp(ktⁿ) and the values of n were found to be in the range 0.12~0.33 and 0.73~0.98. The activation energy of aging Au-Co alloys was determined by cross-cut method: the value varied between 83 and 101kJ/mol and was similar to the energy of motion of either a vacancy or a vacancy-solute complex through the lattice.

Structural and magnetoresistance properties as functions of Cu composition and aging temperatures were investigated in the (Au??-xCux)??Co?? nano-granular alloy films deposited by RF magnetron sputtering. The existence of a-Co precipitates was thought to be due to the low lattice misfit strain energy and the supercooling effect. The maximum MR of 3.23% at room temperature could be obtained in the (Au??Cu??)??Co?? alloy film aged at 250˚C for 90 minutes.

The precipitation of cobalt-rich particles in Au-10at%Co alloys has been studied by electrical resistivity measurements. The kinetics of precipitation could be well described by Johnson-Mehl-Avrami equation, f(t)=1-exp(-kt??) and the values of n were found to be in the range 0.42∼0.88, 1.22∼2.38 and 0.48~0.65. The activation energy of aging Au-10at%Co alloys was determined by cross-cut method: the value varies between 51.7 and 68.4kJ/mol and is similar to the energy of motion of either a vacancy or vacuncy-solute complex through the lattice.
주조용 고인성 Al합금(NS-50)의 기계적 성질에 미치는 시효처리의 영향

Recently, as the development of automobile culture, modern user consider car as a moving resident space and demand the agreeable condition of car interior. But, according to age, sex, and individual, there are varieties of user's agreeable degree. So it is necessary that interior conditions should be fit the temperature and air velocity of each user's taste. In early state of car design as well, it must be decided so as to understand the effect of inlet and outlet site to the internal flow and of the site and area of engine room open area to the cooling efficiency. Nevertheless these situations, because of the complexities of boundary shapes, there are a lot of difficulties of theoretical study. So only a few examples were conducted. In this study, in relation to the agreeable feeling. simflified and idealized model is applied to the cartesian coordinates of SIMPLE and studied over interior temperature of 15∼35℃, air velocity of 0.2∼0.9 m/s, exterior temperature of -10∼35℃, in heating and air-conditioning.
