Mechanical and physical properties of composite materials make a great difference due to their cure process condition. In order to clarify the effect of cure process condition on the microscopic damage behavior and failure mechanism of Carbon/Epoxy composites, three point bend test has been performed. For this purpose, two kinds of specimens with single adhesive and multiple adhesive layers were prepared. For single adhesive layer, four different types of specimen were used, that is, non-sanding, sanding, cocured, laminated specimens. Three different types of specimen were also used for the multiple adhesive layer, non-sanding, sanding, cocured specimens. Acoustic emission technique has also been employed to monitor the damage progresses associated with each micro-failure mechanism. The characteristics of AE parameters associated with micro-failure mechanism of each specimen were discussed.
TiNi/A16061 형상기억복합재료의 미시적 손상거동과 손상위치측정에 관한 연구

TiNi alloy fiber was used to solve the problem of the tensile residual stress as the reinforced material. TiNi alloy fiber improves the tensile strength of composite by occurring compressive residual stress in the matrix using shape memory effect. In order to generate compressive residual stress in TiNi/Al6061 shape memory alloy(SMA) composite, 1, 3 and 5% pre-strains were applied to the composite in advance. It was also evaluated the effect of compressive residual stress corresponding to the pre-strain variation and the volume fraction of TiNi alloy. AE technique was used to clarify the microscopic damage behavior at high temperature and the effect of pre-strain in TiNi/Al6061 SMA composite. The results of the microscopic damage evaluation of TiNi/Al6061 SMA composite under various pre-strain using AE technique can be divided into three stage corresponding to the AE signals. AE counts and events were useful parameters to evaluate the fracture mechanism according to the variation of pre-strain. In addition, two dimensional AE source location technique was applied for monitoring the crack initiation and propagation in composite.
동해산 재래종 다시마 (Kjellemaniella crassifolia) 의 식이가 흰쥐 체내의 칼슘흡수, 혈액조성 및 분변에 미치는 영향

동해산 재래종 다시마 (Kjellemaniella crassifolia, 칼슘함량; 760mg/100g) 식이가 흰쥐의 체내 칼슘 흡수 및 혈액 조성에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 3주령 암컷 흰쥐 (Sprague-Dawley female rats)에게 다시마 첨가량을 각각 0%, 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%로 실험 사료를 8주 동안 사육하면서, 4주 간격으로 골격성장, 칼슘흡수, 혈액조성 및 분변에 관한 영향을 알아보았다. 사육기간 동안 사료 섭취량이 대조군과 다시마 첨가군 사이에 유의적인 차이가 없는 것으로 나타난 흰쥐가 다시마에 대한 거부반응을 보이지 않았으며, 그로 인해 혈청 분석 결과 영양상태가 양호하였고, GPT, GOT 활성 결과 독성에 의한 부작용도 없었다. 대조군에 비해 다시마 첨가군에서 평균 체중 증가량이 낮고 변중량이 높아, 다시마 식이섬유에 의한 배변 중량 효과를 보였다. 대퇴골의 분석에서 중량과 길이는 사육기간 동안 약간의 증가를 보였으며, 대퇴골의 수분함량이 감소한 반면 회분 및 칼슘함량은 증가하여 성장 동안 골밀도의 상승으로 인한 대퇴골의 강도가 높아짐을 보였다. 대조군에 비해 다시마 첨가군에서 칼슘함량과 대퇴골의 강도가 높음을 보여 다시마가 칼슘을 뼈로 흡착을 도와주고 있음을 설명해 주었다. 다시마 첨가수준에 따라서는 0.5% 첨가군에서 대퇴골의 수분함량이 낮고, 회분 및 칼슘함량이 높아 대퇴골의 강도가 가장 단단하였다. The present study was designed to examine how sea tangle intake contributes to the content of bone calcium and breaking force of femur with growing female rats. Weaned rats were fed on experimental diets consisting in four levels of sea tangle powder; 0% (control), 0.5%, 1.0%, and 1.5% for 4 and 8 weeks. Body weight gain and feed intake were not significantly affected by added amount of sea tangle. Bone breaking strength, ash content and calcium levels of the femur of rats fed on diets with sea tangle were higher than those of control gorups (p<0.05). But moisture content, weight and length of femur did not show any significant difference among groups. TP, ALB, TC, TG, ALP, asteocalcin, GOT, and GPT levels in serum did not show any significant difference through the total feeding period but calcium and phosphorus contents of serum increased with increase in feeding period, significantly in 0.05% level by added amounts of sea tangle. Calcium levels in feces increased significantly (p<0.05), but ash levels were not changed significantly by added amount of sea tangle. We could expect from this results that the ingestion of sea tangle (Kjellemaniella crassifolia ) could be helpful to increase bone calcium content and calcium absorption as well as to intensify the femur strength and to increase the calcium contents of rats.

The objective of this paper is to investigate the applicability of acoustic emission(AE) technique to monitor the progress of the thermal shock damage on alumina ceramic. For this purpose, alumina ceramic specimen was heated in the furnace and then was quenched in the water tank. When the specimen was quenched in the water tank, complex AE signals due to the initiation of micro-cracks and boiling effect were generated by the progress of thermal shock damage. These mixed AE signals have to be classified for monitoring the degree of the thermal shock damage of alumina ceramics. In this paper, the mixed AE signals generated from both the boiling effect and the crack initiation under thermal shock test was analyzed. The characteristics of AE signals were also discussed by considering the variation of bending strength and Yongs modulus of specimens.
괭이부리마을 재정착 주민과 쪽방 촌 주민의 지역애착에 관한 연구

본 연구는 인천 괭이부리마을의 일부 지역개발에 따라 공공임대주택 100% 재정착한 주민과 미개발지역 쪽방 촌 주민의 지역애착을 살펴보는데 목적을 둔 연구이다. 이를 위해 FGI면접을 통해 주제 분석을 채택하여 재정착주민, 쪽방 촌 주민 10명을 대상으로 자료를 수집·분석하였다. 분석 결과 지역애착은 개념 60개, 하위범주 7개, 3개의 범주가 도출되었다. 첫째, 괭이부리마을 애착으로는 주거환경의 이분화 현상의 변화에도 쪽방촌 주민과 공통적으로 동병상련을 보였다. 둘째, 재정착주민은 깨끗하고 번듯한 공공임대주택으로 전체 개발을 원했고 쪽방촌 주민은 관리비 없는 쪽방촌주거 재건축의 욕구로 개발에 대한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 괭이부리마을은 모두에게 떠날 수 없는 고마운 공간으로 안주하는 정서를 보이며 마지막 잎새 같은 지역애착 형성이 발견 되었다. 본 연구는 이분화 된 주거공간의 특성으로 지역주민 간 욕구 달랐지만 그럼에도 불구하고 마지막 잎새와 같은 지역애착심이의 공존을 확인하였다. This study aims to examine the community attachment of the residents in Gwaengiburi village, Incheon who 100% resettled in the public rental housing due to regional developments and Chokbang village in the undeveloped region. For this, we adopted the subject analysis by conducting FGI(Focus Group Interview) and then, collected and analyzed the data from 10 resettling residents and residents in Chokbang village. The analysis resulted in 60 conceptions, 7 subcategories and 3 catagories. First, the attachment of residents in Gwaengiburi village and Chokbang village demonstrated the sympathy in common despite the changes in disdifferentiation. Second, while resettling residents wanted whole development for clean and decent public rental housing, the residents in Chokbang village wanted improvement in housing environment of Chokbang village without management fee and these indicate a difference in their needs. Third, all residents in Gwaengiburi village demonstrated emotion of satisfying the thankful place that can never be left and attachment formation such as “The Last Leaf”. This study confirmed that although the features of disdifferentiated place can distinguish needs among the residents, the spirit of community attachment coexists.
