This paper deals with a super-resolution that improves the resolution of side scan sonar images using learning-based compressive sensing. Learning-based compressive sensing combined with deep learning and compressive sensing takes a structure of a feed-forward network and parameters are set automatically through learning. In particular, we propose a method that can effectively extract additional information required in the super-resolution process through various initialization methods. Representative experimental results show that the proposed method provides improved performance in terms of Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structure Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) than conventional methods.

In this study, the colorimetric sensor, polyester (PET) fabric dyed with lead (II) acetate (Pb(C<sub>2</sub>H<sub>3</sub>O<sub>2</sub>)<sub>2</sub>), was fabricated and characterized for the detection of the hydrogen sulfide (H<sub>2</sub>S). The surface morphology of the fabric was determined using scanning electron microscope and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The optical properties of the fabric were evaluated by measuring the variation in the blue value of an RGB sensor. The fabric showed a significant color change, high linearity (R<sup>2</sup>: 0.98256), and fast response time (< 1.0 s) when exposed to H<sub>2</sub>S. This is because the sensor is highly porous and permeable to the gas. The fabric can not only be used as a hydrogen sulfide sensor but also be used to detect and prevent H<sub>2</sub>S influx using sticky tape on pipelines.
글로벌생산네트워크의 변화추세 분석 -사회망분석기법을 활용한 자동차 및 반도체 산업을 중심으로

본 논문은 한국의 주요 수출품목인 자동차와 반도체 산업을 대상으로 하여, 글로벌생산네트워크의 최근 변화 추이를 분석한다. 생산네트워크의 변화를 관찰하기 위해서는 사회망분석기법의 군집구조 및 중심성 분석을 활용한다. 특히 본 논문에서는 기존 연구의 광의품목 분류보다 세분화한 HS6단위의 상품분류를 이용하여 반도체 및 자동차 세부 품목 무역데이터를 기초데이터로 사용하였다. 주요분석결과와 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자동차와 반도체 모두에서 글로벌생산네트워크의 군집구조가 약화되는 추세가 관찰된다. 둘째, 미국과 그 외 주요 국가간의 내향 및 외향중심성은 2019년 전후로 반대 방향으로의 변화가 관찰된다. 이는 미국의 보호무역으로 각국의 수출네트워크가 축소되는 영향 및 수입네트워크 확대의 노력이 동시에 작용한 결과라고 판단된다. 셋째, 글로벌생산네트워크에의 영향은 상대적으로 중국 및 반도체 품목에서 큰 변화가 나타난 것으로 관찰된다. This paper analyzes changing patterns of the global production network focusing on the automobile and semiconductor industries. The main methodologies are the community modularity and centrality analysis based on HS 6digit classification. The main findings are as follows. First, cohesion and centrality analysis reveals that the global production networks has been weakening in both automobile and semiconductor industries. Second, Indegree and outdegree centrality in U.S. and other major countries is observed to change in the opposite direction around 2019. This would be the results of the U.S. initiated trade policy and reponses in other countiries. Third, the impact on the production network is observed relatively large in China and semicomductor industries.

Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) has been widely used for treatment of various rheumatic and dermatologic diseases. However, under a high cumulative dose, HCQ may cause retinal toxicity. In this review, we summarize the underlying mechanisms, prevalence, risk factors, clinical characteristics, screening tests, treatments, and prognosis of HCQ retinopathy. Because HCQ retinopathy is rarely reversible, screening tests to determine the retinal toxicity prior to its development are important. The American Academy of Ophthalmology screening protocols for early detection were updated in 2013. However, as a different clinical type is found in Asian patients, predominantly the pericentral type of photoreceptor damage, rather than the traditional parafoveal type, we propose a modified screening protocol for detection of HCQ retinopathy in Korean and other Asian patients. In this paper, the TiO<sub>2</sub>/glucose oxidase (GOD) mixture has synthesized through simple and low-cost fabrication methods. The physical properties of the mixture were proved using an FT-IR/NIR spectrometer, an X-Ray diffractometer, and a Raman spectrometer. GOD maintained its bioactivity during all fabrication process. The current characteristics of the glucose biosensor were proportional to the glucose concentration and effective surface area of square pyramid on a silicon substrate. The maximum current change was measured in a pH 7.0 buffer solution. The simple and low-cost fabrication process and surface treatment can be used widely in previous research for improvements in effective surface area.

Introduction The purpose of this study was to review thirty years of studies on psychological characteristics of Sasang types to delineate generalizable psychological theories pertaining Sasang typology. Methods Research articles providing psychometric characteristics of each Sasang types were extracted from five database written in Korean and English. Demographic features of the participants, clinical methods for the Sasang type classification, and psychological characteristics of each Sasang types were reviewed and summarized. Results A total of 59 peer-reviewed research articles were found to be published from 1991 to 2018, and the So-Yang and So-Eum Sasang type showed distinctive and contrasting psychological features. The overlap between Eastern and Western psychology in Behavioral Activation and Inhibition System was highlighted as for personality studies, but the anxiety as a pathological factor was not found distinguishable between Sasang types. Discussion The present systematic review provided insight on psychological perspectives of Sasang typology, and would be useful for establishing unique construct of Korean Psychology.
이산화탄소 검출을 위한 고감도 비분산 적외선 가스센서의 광도파관 구조 설계

The Non-dispersive Infrared (NDIR) gas sensor has high selectivity, measurement reliability, and long lifespan. Thus, even though the NDIR gas sensor is expensive, it is still widely used for carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>) detection. In this study, to reduce the cost of the NDIR CO<sub>2</sub> gas sensor, we proposed the new optical waveguide structure design based on ready-made gas pipes that can improve the sensitivity by increasing the initial light intensity. The new optical waveguide design is a structure in which a part of the optical waveguide filter is inclined to increase the transmittance of the filter, and a parabolic mirror is installed at the rear end of the filter to focus the infrared rays passing through the filter to the detector. In order to examine the output characteristics of the new optical waveguide structure design, optical simulation was performed for two types of IR-source. As a result, the new optical waveguide structure can improve the sensitivity of the NDIR CO<sub>2</sub> gas sensor by making the infrared rays perpendicular to the filter, increasing the filter transmittance.
광 도파관이 외부로 노출된 구조를 가지는 비분산적외선 이산화탄소 센서

In this study, a Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) Carbon Dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>) sensor with an externally exposed optical cavity is proposed for improving sensitivity. NDIR CO<sub>2</sub> sensors with high performance must use a lamp-type infrared (IR) source with a strong IR intensity. However, a lamp-type IR source generates high thermal energy that induces thermal noise, interfering with the accuracy of the CO<sub>2</sub> concentration measure. To solve this problem, the optical cavity of the NDIR CO<sub>2</sub> sensor is exposed to quickly dissipate heat. As a result, the proposed NDIR CO<sub>2</sub> sensor has a shorter warm-up time and a higher sensitivity compared to the conventional NDIR CO<sub>2</sub> sensor.
