지상고가 형식의 도시철도는 도시미관을 저해하고, 소음/진동 등의 영향으로 민원이 자주 발생한다. 또한 지하 20~30m에 시공되는 지하철은 공사비가 고가이고 긴 환승 시스템의 단점이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하는 저심도 도시철도의 본선 구조체를 개착식 프리캐스트 모듈식 구조체로 적용하는 시공기술 개발을 위한 연구가 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 저비용 저심도 도시철도 시스템에 적용되는 우각부 연결구조에 대한 성능평가 목적으로 연구를 수행하였다. 실험 조건은 우각부 철근의 커플러 연결, 루프 연결구조를 고려하였다. 실험 결과, 강결연결 형태의 커플러 연결이 구조적 성능이 가장 우수하였으나, 시공 효율성을 고려한 루프 이음도 소요 성능을 만족함을 확인하였다. Recent study about near-surface urban transit is proposed to overcome uneconomical problem of underground subway. Development of construction technology using open-cut precast modular structure for main structure of the near-surface urban transit is under way. In this paper, performance test of corner rigid joint of the modular structure is carried out. Loop connection, and coupler connection is considered. As a result of the test, the structural performance of coupler connection is more advantageous. However, loop connection, considering effective construction, also satisfies the performance requirements.

Tractor PTO output and fuel consumption rate under the korean paddy and various paddy operations were measured and analyzed, in which all the measurements were accomplished by the OECD tractor test codes and the collected information will be utilized for defining tractor energy efficiency class and its test methods. Tractor PTO performance tests were conducted under full-load, part-load and various engine RPMs with part-load at the engine laboratory, while the paddy operations were dry land plowing, wet and dry land rotary tilling and wet land preparation under various soils. As a whole, the rated tractor outputs were ranged from 17% to 100% in the various tillage and land preparation operations, however, the loads for the paddy operations of 1,700 to 2,000 rpm were very close to the OECD tractor load distribution thus it would be appropriate to adopt OECD tractor test codes to measure energy consumption efficiency of tractor.

NOx and Particulates from Diesel engines are the main causes of air pollution in city areas. However. the reduction of both NOx and Particulates simultaneously is not easily realized.<br/> Vehicles powered by Diesel-type Methanol engine are under development to reduce emissions and are under fleet test.<br/> Physical and chemical properties of Methanol are compared to use Methanol as a fuel in a Diesel-type engine. Ignition assistance systems in Diesel-type Methanol engine are also compared because ignition assistance system is needed due to poor self-ignition property of Methanol.<br/> The way to solve technical problems of Diesel-type Methanol engines are presented as follows; stable self-ignition property under wide operating conditions. combustion improvement, reduction of power consumption and reliability for glow plug by reservoir<br/> -type glow plug and by EGR at low load. combustion improvement and elevation of conversion rate of catalyst by throttling at no load, reduction methed of formaldehyde emission.<br/>

A tractor attached TMR(model 430) mixer has been developed in a previous study. However, the mixer was found to be improved through field applications in its capacity, manufacturing cost, ergonomic design and power-train requirement. The TMR mixer was modified into a model TMR500, approved by Institute of Agricultural Mechanization, as follows : 1. Roughage cutting system was seperated from the mixer, resulting in the 33% reduction of manufacturing cost. 2. Enlarged hopper capacity enabled to feed 60 heads at a batch. 3. Hydraulically controlled gate system saved ergonomic man power. 4. Power transmission system was changed from a chain-sprocket system(27:1) to the gear-train reduction system(38.6:1) to satisfy the recommended use of 540rpm PTO input.
