고양이 회장 평활근의 수축력에 미치는 Vanadate와 Ouabain의 작용

Vanadate의 회장 평활근에 대한 수축작용이 Na-K-ATPase를 억제하기 때문인지를 구명하기 위하여 Na-K-ATPase를 억제하는 ouabain과의 작용의 차이를 관찰한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1) Ouabain에 의해 나타나는 수축은 2중 peak를 나타내었으나 vanadate 의해서는 단일 Peak만을 보였다. 2) Ouabain에 의한 수축은 atropine$(2{\times]10^{-6}M)$에 의해 강력하게 억제되었으나 vanadate의 작용은 영향을 받지 않았다. 3) Ouabain에 의한 수축은 vanadate에 비해 외부의 $Ca^{++}4농도 및 Ca-길항제에 대해 민감하게 영향을 받았다. 4) 용액내 $Na^+$이 없을때 혹은 고농도의 $K^+$존재하에서 ouabain에 의한 수축반응은 거의 나타나지 않았으나 vanadate에 의한 수축은 영향을 받지 않았다. 5) Vanadate에 의한 수축은 ouabain 존재시에 더욱 증가되었다. 6) 3시간동안 incubation한 결과 vanadate는 ouabain과 달리 세포내 $Na^+$의 농도에 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 이상의 결과로 보아 ouabain과 vanadate는 서로 다른 기전에 의해 회장 평활근에서 수축반응을 유발시키는 것으로 추측된다. Vanadate is a potent inhibitor of Na-K-ATPase. Ouabain, the another specific inhibitor of Na-K-ATPase, induces the contraction in cardiac muscle and smooth muscle. But, some investigators observed the discrepancies between vanadate and ouabain-induced contraction in cardiac muscle. The difference of vanadate and ouabain-induced contraction was investigated in the cat ileal smooth muscle. The following results were obtained. 1) Ouabain-induced contraction was biphasic, but vanadate-induced contraction had one peak. 2) Atropine inhibited ouabain·induced contraction, but did not inhibit vanadate-induced contraction. 3) Changes in external $Ca^{++}$concentration or $Ca^{++}$ antagonists had a greater influence on the contraction induced hy vanadate than by ouabain. 4) Removal of $Na^+$ from incubation medium and high $K^+$ abolished ouabain-induced contraction, but had no effect on vanadate-induced contraction. 5) Vanadate-induced contraction was potentiated in the presence of ouabain. 6) After 3 hrs incubation with vanadate, there was no change in intracellular $Na^+$ concentrations in contrast with ouabain. These results suggest that vanadate contracts ileal smooth muscle through the mechanism different from ouabain, and this is independent of the inhibition of Na-K-ATPase activity.

The Freedom of Information System has been introduced into the society based on the Fair Trade Transactions Act, which was established by Fair Trade Commission (FTC) on May, 2002. However, the system itself has showed limitations in guaranteeing a reliability and transparency of the disclosure document. Thus, since February, 2008, FTC not only made franchisors to register disclosure documents but also adopted the Disclosure Document Registration System, which forced them to provide registered disclosure documents to franchise applicants and franchisee. Franchisors consider the newly adopted Disclosure Document Registration System a restrictive system. However, considering the recent trend of fast growing franchising industry and the importance of being competitive, franchisors need to utilize the disclosure documents to promote their business and to gain trusts from franchise applicants by providing truthful information. In that way, franchisors will be able to establish a foundation that franchising industry might be successful and reduce the agency fee by cutting out conflicts with franchisees. Thus, this study aims to study the ways of effective preparation of disclosure document and its utilization from a franchisor viewpoint.

Many small systems, utilizing microprocessors, are now being used in various fields. The need for connecting small system is increasing, which locate within a restricted area such as a single bulding, a small cluster of buldings. Utilizing inexpensive microprocessors, we have studied a structure of the multi-loops network system, intra-loop transmission and inter-loop communication schemes. The multi-loop structure, which consists of a number of loops, has been adopted, therefore some loops can be easily added when the number of nodes increases or the traffic rate becomes higher. Each loop is controlled independently, so that trouble of one loop does not effect the other loops. The control is distributed all over the nodes and there is no centrol loop-controller.
미토콘드리아 complex III 의 활성에 관한 연구

The maximum activity of complex ⅠⅠⅠ, a mitochondrial electron transfer enzyme, was observed at 38。 C by sonicating mitochondrial suspension(200 ㎍ of protein per ml)treating with 0.01 M KCN solution (twice the suspension volme) for the inhibition of active complex Ⅳ at O。 C to 4。 C. This system was improved as an enzyme source of the complex for the measurements of cytochrome c which is the electron acceptor and ubiquinol-6 or ubiquinol-10 which are electron donor substrates of the complex by UV-VIS spectrophotometer. The assay gave the following results. The Km values of the enzyme were 42.44 ㎛ and 7.02 ㎛ for ubiquinol-6 and ubiquinol-10 when the concentration of cytochrome c was fixed. The Km values were 20.22μM and 38.93μM respectively for cytochrome c when ubiquinol-6 and ubiquinol-10 were fixed.
