컴퓨터 및 인터넷의 발전과 보급으로 CAWI 방식을 활용한 조사시스템이 급속도로 확산되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 통계조사 종합 소프트웨어인 Blaise의 기능과 언어에 대해 분석하고, CAWI 방식의 조사시스템 운영을 가능하게 하는 BlaiseIS에 대해 고찰한다. 이를 바탕으로 고용노동부에서 시행 중인 월간 노동통계조사 및 사업체실태조사를 모델로 Blaise 소프트웨어를 이용하여 CAWI 방식의 조사시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 또한, 구현된 시스템을 적용한 결과를 바탕으로 기존의 PAPI방식의 조사 방법과 비교하여 조사 자료의 정확성 및 시의성이 향상되고, 코드의 수정과 재사용이 용이하여 시스템의 유지보수 측면에서도 효율적임을 보인다. The CAWI survey system is expanding rapidly because of the increased use of computers and the Internet. In this paper, we study the knowledge and skills to design and implement CAWI survey system. In this study, we analyze the features and language of Blaise, a comprehensive statistical survey software, and investigate BlaiseIS which enables the survey of the CAWI method. Based on it, we design and implement the CAWI system with Blaise software for the Monthly Labor Statistics Survey and the Survey on Labor Conditions at Establishments which are surveyed by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The research results has proved its effectiveness in that the developed system has improved the accuracy and the timeliness of the survey data when compared with PAPI method. In addition, improved modifiability and reusability of program has shown the efficiency of the system maintenance.

Blaise 소프트웨어를 이용한 장애인고용패널조사 CAPI 시스템의 설계 및 구현

The purpose of this paper is to design and implement a Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) system for Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (PSED) using Blaise software developed by Statistics Netherlands which is a powerful and flexible system used for computer-assisted survey processing. CAPI system for PSED is consisted of three parts, which are survey management program, electronic questionnaire program, and postprocessing program. These programs are constructed with modular approach and are integrated into CAPI system. The developed software is highlighted in its reusability which results in the improved efficiency and reduced cost of software maintenance. CAPI system for PSED proved its effectiveness in carrying out the survey by guaranteeing correctness of survey data, improved timeliness of survey, easy reforming the questionnaires, easy control on the interviewers, and rapid data processing in spite of the complexity of PSED.
