This study was conducted to investigate the nutrition status, growth and fruit quality of 'Campbell Early' grapes in Hwaseong area. Organic matter content of 3 vineyard soils was significantly lower than standard value. P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> and K contents of Y vineyard and P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> of C vineyard were very high. But there were no significant differences in contents of Ca, Mg and CEC. Compared to the standard value. T-N, Ca and Mg contents of petiole were adequate. P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> contents of Y and C vineyard and K contents of Y vineyard were significantly higher than standard value. Berry firmness, color and bloom occurrence on fruit skin showed no differences among 3 vineyard. Soluble solids content poorly, yield per tree and goods fruit of C vineyard decreased significantly compared to the fruit in Y and H vineyards. Russetted fruit of Y vineyard, colored fruit of H vineyard, and unfertilized fruit, cracked fruit, and bitter rot were observed frequently.

The effects of developed grape bags on the micro-climate changes of bag, physiological disorder, pathogenic decay, quality and harvest time evaluation in 'Campbell Early' grapevines were studied. The temperature and light transmittance of developed grape bags showed no differences compared with the onces of conventional bag and non-bagging, but relative humidity and the amount of water evaporation were changed in all treatments. The occurrence of unfertilized fruit, poorly colored fruit, russet and gray mold rot showed no significant difference in all treatment at harvest time. Developed grape bags decreased effectively the occurrence of cracking fruit and bitter rot in 'Campbell Early' fruit. There was no difference in growth of cluster and berry, soluble solids and total acidity in fruits, degree of skin color and bloom appearance at harvest time. The skin color and fruit boom and harvest time evaluation in developed grape bags were resulted excellent compared with the once of conventional bag and non bagging.

This study has been conducted to investigate the effect of GA<sub>3</sub> solution dipping treatment after 1 days full bloom on spike growth and fruit quality at harvest of 'Campbell Early' grapevine. The fruit cluster growth(weight, length, width) and fruit stalk(diameter, length) at harvest were increased significantly by GA<sub>3</sub> 10 mg·L<sup>-1</sup> solution dipping treatment compared to control and another concentration. The berry growth (berry No, weight, length, diameter) at harvest showed no difference by treatment GA<sub>3</sub> concentration different. Spike weight was increased by GA<sub>3</sub> 5, 10, 20, mg·L<sup>-1</sup> treatment compared to control, but no difference GA<sub>3</sub> 40 mg·L<sup>-1</sup> treatment. The degree of compact berry, bloom, skin color and SSC at harvest by GA<sub>3</sub> solution dipping treatment were not significantly different from those of control. but increased seedlessness induction by GA<sub>3</sub> 10 mg·L<sup>-1</sup> treatment. The occurrence percent of berry cracking by GA<sub>3</sub> 5, 10, 20, 40 mg·L<sup>-1</sup> treatment significantly decreased. The bitter rot of berry harvest showed no difference by treatment GA<sub>3</sub> concentration different. Total spike length was increased by GA<sub>3</sub> 5, 10 mg·L<sup>-1</sup> treatment compared to control and GA<sub>3</sub> 20, 40 mg·L<sup>-1</sup> treatment. The spike length of 1st from 15th to position increased by GA<sub>3</sub> 10 mg·L<sup>-1</sup> treatment.

The research project was conducted to develop a paper bagging machine for grape. This technology was aimed to highly reduce a labor for paper bagging in grape and bakery. In agriculture labor and farm population has rapidly decreased since 1980 in Korea so there was so limit in labor. In particular there is highly population in women and old age at rural area and thus labor cost is so high. Therefore a labor saving technology in agricultural sector might be needed to be replaced these old age with mechanical and labor saving tool in agriculture. The following was summarized of the research results for development of a paper bagging machine for grape. 1. Development of a new paper bagging machine for grape - This machine was designed by CATIA VI2/AUTO CAD2000 programme. - A paper bagging machine was mechanically binded a paper bag of grape which should be light and small size. This machine would be designed for women and old age with convenience during bagging work at the field site. - This machine was manufactured with total weight of less than 350g. - An overage bagging operation was more than 99% at the actual field process. - A paper bagging machine was designed with cartridge type which would be easily operated between rows and grape branches under field condition. - The type of cartridge pin was designed as a C-ring type with the length of 500mm which was good for bagging both grape and bakery. - In particular this machine was developed to easily operated among vines of the grape trees. 2. Field trials of a paper bagging machine in grape - There was high in grape quality as compared to the untreated control at the application of paper bagging machine. - The efficiency of paper bagging machine was 102% which was alternative tool for the conventional. - The roll pin of paper bagging machine was good with 5.3cm in terms of bagging precision. - There was no in grape quality between the paper bagging machine and the conventional method. - Disease infection and grape break was not in difference both treatments.
Russian Comfrey 분말첨가가 초생추발육에 미치는 영향

This experiment was conducted to determine and compare the effects of Russian Comfrey meal and Acacia leaf meal on the growth of chicks. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1) In body weight gain, the significant difference (p$lt;0.01) was observed between the treatments. The control lot (Vitamin supplemented) was highest (p$lt;0.01), and Acacia leaf meal and Russian Comfrey meal lots were higher(p$lt;0.01) than non-Vitamin supplemented lot(NC). Among the treatments Acacia leaf meal was supperior than Russian Comfrey meal in order of Acacia 10% (T6), Acacia 5% (T5), Russian Comfrey 5% (T2), Russian Comfrey 10% (T3), Acacia 2.5% (T4), and Russian Comfrey 2.5% (T1) lots. 2) In feed intake, the significant difference (p$lt;0.01) was observed between the treatments. Control ration lot (C) showed higher than the other ration lots and non-Vitamin supplemented lot (NC) showed the lowest feed intake (p$lt;0.01). Acacia ration lots were higher than Russian Comfrey ration in order of 10%, 5% and 2.5% level. 3) The feed efficiency was the highest with the control lot, followed by the Acacia leaf-meal, and non-Vitamin supplemented ration had the lowest feed efficiency. Increasing level of Acacia leaf meal or Comfrey meal, gradually decreased the feed efficiency. 4) In economical analysis, Control lot was supperior than the other lots. Acacia leaf meal and Russian Comfrey meal lots were more beneficial than non-Vitamin lot (NC). Acacia supplemented lots showed supperio than all Russian Comfrey supplemented lots in order of 5%, 10%, 2.5% level.
