The number of vehicles employing diesel engines is rapidly rising. Accompanying this trend, application of an after-treatment system is strictly required as a result of reinforced exhaust regulations. The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) system is considered as the most efficient method to reduce particulate matter (PM), but the improvement of a regeneration performance at any engine operation point presents a considerable challenge by itself. Temperature, gas compostion and flow rate of exhaust gas are important parameters in DPF evaluation, especially regeneration process. Engine dynamometer and degment tester are generally used in DPF evaluation so far. But these test method couldn't reveal the effect of various parameters on real DPF, such as O2 concentration, amount of soot and exhaust gas temperature. This research has studied the possibility using dump combustor that used to take an approach lean premixed combustion in gas turbine for a DPF power and optimized. It is possible that utilize the system as DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) and SCR(Selective Catalytic Reduction) assessments test as well as DPF evaluation

The purpose of this study was to examine how preschool teachers perceive the importance of teaching early literacy and language skills during center time as a means of determining the influence of professional development on early literacy and language instruction. The self-developed survey about the instruction during center time was provided to teachers prior to and following professional development training. Participants for this study were 27 teachers who were in an intensive professional development program aimed at enhancing teachers`` early literacy and language instruction in daily classroom routines. Results of this study showed that most of the preschool teachers made certain changes in perceiving the importance of providing intensive language and literacy instruction for preschoolers from low-income families. After one-year follow up survey, most teachers especially pointed out the importance of teaching oral language and phonological skills every day during center time. Limitations and implications were also discussed in terms of increasing teachers`` early literacy and language instruction during center time and improving children`s learning outcomes.
유아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 부모참여 활동 연구 동향 분석: 국내 학술지 논문을 중심으로

A purpose of this study was to analyze research trends related to parent involvement for parents with young children, focusing on domestic journals published since 2013. Targeting a total of 62 articles met the selection criteria, the research trends of general characteristics and types of parent involvement were analyzed. Findings of analysis are as follows. First, in the general characteristics according to research participants, the highest proportion was found in the studies that conducted parent involvement for both parent and young children. Also, qualitative studies showed the highest proportion in the research method, and the contents of parent involvement included in the personnel, social, and educational aspects. The types of parent involvement were classified as focusing on parent education program, family education program, and family-connection activity. Second, in the specific trends according to the types of parent involvement, the topics of parent education program were covered in terms of emotional ·psychological support, collaboration-based coaching, etc. In the most of studies, the parent and child outcomes were reported as the result of parent education program, etc. Regarding to the parent involvement related to family education program, the topics of family education program were covered in terms of therapy centered intervention, social interaction, life-centered safety education, etc. In the most of studies, the parent and child outcomes were reported as the result of family education program. Regarding to the parent involvement related to family-connection activity, the topics of family-connection activity were covered in terms of curriculum based element, literature based approach, social-political factor related connection, etc. Based on the analysis results, discussions and implications were suggested for further studies to conduct active and practical parent involvement in connection of family, institution and community.
저소득층 장애위험 유아의 발달특성 및 교사교육 프로그램에 관한 유아교사 인식

The purpose of this study was to investigate the preschool teachers` perceptions about developmental characteristics and in-service program for at-risk young children from low Income families. For the purpose, the modified questionnaire was distributed to teachers working in day care centers or kindergarten located in Daejun, Daegu, and Busan cities. A total of 228 questionnaires were used for data analysis by dividing teachers with two groups according to their teaching experiences in at-risk young children. Results of this study are as follows. First, less than half of teachers(41.2%) responded that main characteristics of at-risk young children from low income families is related to show odd behavior, and social-emotional development was perceived as the developmental area to focus on. Second, most of teachers(98.7%) perceived on the necessity of the in-service program and responded on the need of communication training and adaptive behavior training for the main contents of the program. Third, group differences were found in the developmental area to focus and the developmental characteristics of at-risk young children from low income families. Based on the results, discussion and implication were suggested in terms of developing and implementing in-service program for at-risk young children from low income families.

Employing an after-treatment system has almost become a mandatory requirement for Diesel vehicles, which results from a reinforced exhaust regulations as the number of vehicles powered by a Diesel engine increases. The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) system is considered as one of the most efficient method to reduce particulate matter (PM); however, the improvement of a regeneration performance at any engine operation point presents a considerable challenge by itself. Temperature, gas composition and flow rate of exhaust gas are important parameters in DPF evaluation processes, especially during a regeneration process. Engine dynamometer and segment tester are generally used in DPF evaluation so far. These test methods, however, could not completely evaluate the effect of various parameters on real DPF, such as oxygen concentration, amount of soot and exhaust gas temperatures. The evaluation of DPF systems using a dump combustor has been verified experimentally and this dump combustor system is likely to be appropriate for the DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) assessments test, too.

We have examined the co-doping effects of 1/2 mol% NiO and 1/4 mol% $Cr_2O_3$ (Ni:Cr = 1:1) on the reaction, microstructure, and electrical properties, such as the bulk defects and the grain boundary properties, of ZnO-$Bi_2O_3-Sb_2O_3$ (ZBS; Sb/Bi = 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0) varistors. The sintering and electrical properties of Ni,Cr-doped ZBS, ZBS(NiCr) varistors were controlled using the Sb/Bi ratio. Pyrochlore ($Zn_2Bi_3Sb_3O_{14}$), ${\alpha}$-spinel ($Zn_7Sb_2O_{12}$), and ${\delta}-Bi_2O_3$ were detected for all of compositions. For the sample with Sb/Bi = 1.0, the Pyrochlore was decomposed and promoted densification at lower temperature by Ni rather than by Cr. A homogeneous microstructure was obtained for all of the samples affected by ${\alpha}$-spinel. The varistor characteristics were not dramatically improved (non-linear coefficient, ${\alpha}$ = 5~24), and seemed to form ${Zn_i}^{{\cdot}{\cdot}}$(0.17 eV) and ${V_o}^{\cdot}$(0.33 eV) as dominant defects. From impedance and modulus spectroscopy, the grain boundaries were found to have been divided into two types, i.e., one is tentatively assigned to ZnO/$Bi_2O_3$ (Ni,Cr)/ZnO (0.98 eV) and the other is assigned to a ZnO/ZnO (~1.5 eV) homojunction.
