Many researches on the structural system of tall building have been presented and developed, together with an appearance of tall buildings. Specifically, the introduction of the framed-tube system has brought about revolution in the design of tall building. But the disadvantage of framed tube system is that the flexible spandrel girders cause a shear lag when the lateral load is applied. Besides, the shear lag causes a shear deformation of structure and increases the lateral displacement. Therefore, to relieve this phenomenon, tubular structure isn't used singly but is combined with another structural system at present. In order to present the criterion models which efficiently control the shear lag, this paper presents several hybrid tube systems combined with other structural systems based on the framed tube and analyzes the hybrid tube structures subjected to wind load. Furthermore, a control performance of the hybrid tube systems about the shear lag is compared with that of framed tube system by using shear lag factor. At the same time, an economical efficiency of the hybrid tube systems is also estimated in terms of the steel quantity which is needed to satisfy the allowable lateral drift.

Recently, it has continued to be reported that the demand for tourism in Cheju Island is in a stalemate. We can point out several causes for its recent stalemate; however, one of its basic causes arises from tourists craving for new tourism resources with added value according to a rise in a level of life and an improvement of the conditions of tourism. Nowadays the world tourism is showing a tendency to utilize cultural elements as tourism resources as many as possible. Figuratively speaking, we can say that the countries all over the world are now conducting a cultural war for tourism market. Under these international circumstances, we should try to grope for new tourism policies, and first of all, we must start to change the existing tourism policies in order to break the stalemate in tourism. Until now, the authorities concerned have formed plans for the utilization not of cultural tourism elements but only of the natural resources. Natural resources alone cannot attract tourists any more. Since the world trend in tourism leans toward cultural tourism, in order to convert the tourism in Cheju Island to the cultural one, we should do the followings on the basis of a new converted tourism policy : the arrangement of verious cultural events, the development of water front, the induction of convention industry, and the creation of cultural environment: in addition, we should give consideration from policy to the expansion of cultural space, the establishment of various kinds of institutions, etc.

Recently, building materials or finished materials have required the standardization of manufactures according to trend of industrialization and simplification of construction method. But, the roof panels or interior and exterior walls, which easily was applied to the construction of steel and reinforced concrete, are not escaping greatly In existent sandwich panel form, and, technical development for construction product that can simplify construction phase and reduce construction time is not consisting. The purpose of this paper is to develop the roof composite panel framed by lightweight stud and evaluate structural strength. As a result, we wish to seek dry method of construction, lightweight of building, and industrialization.

This study presents the movable wall panel system to be able to divide effectively the classrooms for the multipurpose use of specific rooms in school building. This panel system is composed of carbon steel squares filled up autoclaved lightweight concrete to obtain the structural safety, durability and fire resistance, compared with the existing sandwich panels. Therefore, this study performs the structural experiments through the various structural capacity tests. To this end, the test models considering the several design variables are established to secure the structural safety of the movable wall panel systems.
