        난관불임술에 관한 임상적 고찰

        A clinical analysis has been made on 717 cases of tubal sterilization which had been performed at the Dept. of Obstet. & Gynecol., Kyung Hee University Hospital from Jan. 1, 1976 to Dec. 31, 1980. The results are as follows: 1) Prominant age group consisted of those 26-30 years old with frequency of 43.9%, the average being 30.6 years old. 2) Women having 2 living children represented 52.4% of the total and the average No. of living children was 2.5. 3) According to the sex of their children, 29.7% of all cases had one son and one daughter. 12.1% of cases had no son, while 25.7% of cases had no daughter, which showed a trend of male preference. 4) 47.7% of total cases had not experienced artificial abortion before sterilization and the mean No. of artificial abortion was 1.8. 5) With respect to interval between last delivery and tubal sterilization, 76.1% of cases was sterilized within postpartum period (including-c-section) and 12.4% of cases was sterilized within 3 years. 6) The contraceptive methods prior to sterilization were 42.8% with no method used, 17.7% by condom, 16.6% by oral pills, 14.9% by IUD method. 7) 84.5% of puerperal sterilization operation was performed within 48 hours after bearing. 8) Sterilization procedures were coincidentally performed with appendectomy (36.7%), D&E (15.8%), perineorrhaphy (5.0%), salpingectomy (1.8%), and ovarian cystectomy (1.5%). 9) General anesthesia was performed in the majority cases (88.4%). 10) Complications after the procedure were encountered in 7.8% (56 cases), but no intensive medical care was required for these complications. 11) The failure (0.3%) resulting in intrauterine pregnancies occured after the laparoscopic sterilization.

        치기공학과 교육과정 만족도 및 교육과정에 대한 요구

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to enhance curriculum satisfaction of dental laboratory technology and curriculum demands. Methods: From March 5 to March 31, 2019, a self-written questionnaire was conducted for 195 students from the department of dental laboratory technology at a university in Gangwon-do. The analytical methods used were descriptive statistical analysis, frequency analysis, cross analysis, correlation analysis and reliability analysis. The collected data was used for SPSS 18.0 for Windows statistics program. Results: The demand of the school education includes systematic experiments and demand of practical training, acquisition of professional knowledge, introduction of advanced technology curriculum, reduction of national examination-oriented curriculum, and increased professionalism and professionalism as professional professionals. Investigated by the ethics. In addition, they were strongly aware of the necessity of digital education related to CAD / CAM, and there was a high demand for how to operate programs, scanning and design. Conclusion: The curriculum needs to be reorganized to cultivate dental technicians in a changing era, and in-depth centralized curriculum in fields with high practical needs, as well as vocational and ethical views as professionals.

        치기공과 학생의 대면과 비대면 수업의 인식 및 만족도

        Purpose: To study the perception and satisfaction of in-person and online classes for dental technology students. Methods: A total of 420 questionnaires were distributed to dental technology students between June 1 and June 30, 2021. Of these, 225 questionnaires were assessed using frequency analysis, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's Chi-squared test, and independent t-tests via IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 22.0 (IBM). Results: For theory subjects, satisfaction was higher for online classes than in-person classes (p=0.001). For practical subjects, satisfaction was higher for in-person classes than online classes (p=0.002). Both the learning effect and motivation for learning were higher for in-person classes than online classes (p=0.001). Conclusion: When in-person and online classes become coexistent, there should be educational guidelines for improving the quality and effectiveness of learning in these different contexts.

        Sleep patterns and school performance of Korean adolescents assessed using a Korean version of the pediatric daytime sleepiness scale

        Purpose: Korean adolescents have severe nighttime sleep deprivation and daytime sleepiness because of their competitive educational environment. However, daytime sleep patterns and sleepiness have never been studied using age-specific methods, such as the pediatric daytime sleepiness scale (PDSS). We surveyed the daytime sleepiness of Korean adolescents using a Korean translation of the PDSS. Methods: We distributed the 27-item questionnaire, including the PDSS and questions related to sleep pattern, sleep satisfaction, and emotional state, to 3,370 students in grades 5-12. Results: The amount of nighttime sleep decreased significantly with increasing age. During weekday nights, 5- 6^th graders slept for 7.95±1.05h, 7-9^th graders for 7.57±1.05 h, and 10-12^th graders for 5.78±1.13 h. However, the total amounts of combined daytime and nighttime sleep during weekdays were somewhat greater, 8.15±1.12 h for 5- 6^th graders,8.17±1.20 h for 7-9^th graders, and 6.87±1.40 h for 10-12^th graders. PDSS scores increased with age, 11.89±5.56 for 5- 6th graders, 16.57±5.57 for 7-9^th graders, and 17.71±5.24 for 10-12^th graders. Higher PDSS scores were positively correlated with poor school performance and emotional instability. Conclusion: Korean teenagers sleep to an unusual extent during the day because of nighttime sleep deprivation. This negatively affects school performance and emotional stability. A Korean translation of the PDSS was effective in evaluating the severity of daytime sleepiness and assessing the emotional state and school performance of Korean teenagers.

        치과기공사의 보수교육 만족도에 관한 연구

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data that can help the development and implementation of effective and satisfactory programs. Methods: This study was used for the analysis of 699 dental technicians attending the general conference of Korean dental technicians in 2017. Statistical analysis, t-test and ANOVA were used for the analysis. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 24.0. Results: Satisfaction with the number of lectures in continuing education was 2.54, and satisfaction with composition of major field was 2.72. Satisfaction with the content of the lecture was 3.04. The instructor level was 2.91, and the overall satisfaction was 2.92. Satisfaction with continuing education was 2.83. Conclusion : In order to increase the satisfaction of dental technicians, we expect to have various practical and systematic education such as diversification of education methods, quality level management, online continuing education.

        0.05wt% $SbI_3$를 첨가한 n형 $Bi_2({Te_{0.95}}{Se_{0.05}})_3$ 가압소결체의 열처리 시간에 따른 열전특성

        0.05wt% $SbI_3$를 첨가한 n형 $ Bi_2(Te(_{0.95}Se_{0.05})_3$ 합금분말을 용해/분쇄법으로 제조하여 가압소결 후, 36시간까지의 열처리 시간에 따른 열전특성의 변화 거동을 분석하였다. 열처리 시간이 증가함에 따라 0.05wt% $SbI_3$를 첨가한 n형 $ Bi_2(Te(_{0.95}Se_{0.05})_3$ 가압소결체의 전자 농도가 감소하였다. 0.05wt% $SbI_3$를 첨가한 $Bi_2(Te(_{0.95}Se_{0.05})_3$ 가압소결체는 $2.1{\times}10^{-3}/K$의 성능지수를 나타내었으며 $500^{\circ}C$에서 3시간 열처리 시 $2.35{\times}10^{-3}/K$로 성능지수가 향상되었으나, 12시간 이상 열처리 시에는 전기비저항의 증가에 기인하여 성능지수의 현저한 감소가 발생하였다. Thermoelectric properties of the 0.05wt% $SbI_3$-doped n-type $Bi_2(Te_{0.95}Se_{0.05})_3$ alloy, prepared by melting/grinding and hot pressing, were investigated with variation of the annealing time up to 36 hours. The electron concentration of the 0.05wt% SbI$_3$-doped n-type $Bi_2(Te_{0.95}Se_{0.05})_3$ alloy decreased with increasing the annealing time. The figure-of-merit of the 0.05wt% $SbI_3$-doped n-type $Bi_2(Te_{0.95}Se_{0.05})_3$ alloy was improved from $2.1{\times}10^{-3}/K$ to $2.35{\times}10^{-3}/K$ by annealing at $500^{\circ}C$ for 3 hours. When annealed longer than 12 hours, however, the figure-of-merit decreased substantially due to the increase of the electrical resistivity.
