DRAM-SSD 성능 개선을 위한 리눅스 블록 디바이스 드라이버의 입출력 요청의 적응적 묶음 처리

본 논문은 리눅스 블록 디바이스 드라이버의 IO 요청 처리 방식을 개선하여 DRAM-SSD의 초당 전송률을 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 세그먼트들로 구성된 IO 요청에 대해 기존에는 세그먼트 처리 때마다 DMA 맵핑 정보의 할당 및 해제와 같은 부가적인 동작이 수반되기 때문에 오버헤드가 발생했다. 이는 대용량 데이터 처리 속도가 빠른 DRAM-SSD의 제어에 적합하지 않다. 논문에서는 복수 개 세그먼트를 하나로 묶어 처리함으로써 오버헤드를 감소시키는 방법을 제안한다. 하지만 묶음 처리에도 오버 헤드가 발생하기 때문에 포함된 세그먼트 개수에 따라 적응적으로 묶음 여부를 결정하여 성능을 최적화시켰다. 성능평가에서 제안방식은 일정 크기 이상의 데이터 요청에서 기존 방식보다 초당 전송률을 최소 42%이상 향상시켰다. This paper proposes a method to improve the performance of DRAM-SSD by modifying the block device driver of Linux systems. Existing block device drivers handle IO requests in a segment-based way. However the segment-by-segment handling involves the overhead of extra works between finishing one segment and starting another one. It prevents DRAM-SSD from running in full speed. The proposed method groups multiple segments into one request to reduce the overhead. Since the grouping itself has another type of overhead, the decision to tie segments together or not is made adaptively depending on the number of segments. From the evaluation results, the throughput of the proposed method improved at least 42% compared with the segment-based way.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of dual role (physical education teacher vs. athletic director) on emotional display rules (positive and negative) and emotional labor strategies (surface acting, deep acting, and genuine expression) among physical education teachers. Methods: 250 survey questionnaires were distributed to PE teachers experiencing dual roles in the region of Youngnam. Out of the 250 questionnaires distributed, a total of 229 questionnaires were chosen for final data analysis after excluding 21 incomplete questionnaires. Results: Results of chi-square tests indicated that participants were more likely to display positive emotions in the role of PE teacher than in the role of athletic director. On the other hand, participants were more likely to display negative emotions in the role of athletic director than in the role of PE teacher. Results of the paired t-tests indicated that participants utilized more surface acting in the role of PE teacher than in the role of athletic director, while they utilized more genuine expression in the role of athletic director than in the role of PE teacher. Conclusion: The overall findings of this study provide some meaningful and practical implications for dual role PE teachers regarding the use of emotional display rules and emotional labor strategies according to the types of their roles.

It need to study which Rear Cross Member Body mounting`s structures are applied to many kinds of car, and which one is better at fatigue strength. So, this paper describes a study of Body Mounting`s structure. The study shows that Increasing the trim line of body mounting`s panel until the welding bead line`s angle is over 180 degree is effective way to enhance the fatigue strength.
우리나라 Pseudanabaena 속 남조류 종다양성 및 남조류 기원 이취미 물질(2-MIB)의 발생

Off-flavor materials (geosmin and 2-methylisoborneol (2-MIB)) produced by microorganisms, such as, cyanobacteria and actinomycetes, cause freshwater use problems worldwide. Due to unpleasant taste and odor, these microorganisms have raised issues especially in drinking water resources. Recently, there has been increasing concern about 2-MIB and causal cyanobacteria, namely, Pseudanabaena, in Korea. However, material production and ecological dynamics remain largely unexplored. This study reviewed the distribution of Pseudanabaena, its species diversity, and the research trend of molecular ecology related to 2-MIB production in Korea. Based on published literature, we found that seven species of Pseudanabaena which include P. mucicola, P. limnetica, P. redekei, P. catenata, P. galeata, P. yagii, and P. cinerea appeared to occur in a variety of Korean water systems. All of these Pseudanabaena species were found in the North-Han River system (Lakes Soyang, Chuncheon, Uiam, and Paldang). Some of these species were also detected in other watersheds, but the precise species diversity was not identified. Species belonging to the Pseudanabaena genus are hard to classify through general microscopic alpha taxonomy, due to their very small cell size and similar morphological characters. Moreover, the potential of 2-MIB production cannot be detected by microscopic observation. Combining molecular ecological techniques, such as, environmental genomic materials (eDNA, eRNA) analyses to conventional methods could be useful to better understand the off-flavor material production and dynamics, thereby providing more efficient management strategies of freshwater systems.
