In this study, the recognition experiments for Korean vowel are performed using peripheral auditory model. In addition, for the purpose of objective comparison, the recognition experiments are performed by extracting LPC cepstrum coefficients for the same speech data. The results are as follows. 1) The time and the frequency responses of the auditory model show that important features of input signal are involved in the responses of inner ear and auditory nerve. 2) The recognition results for Korean vowel show that the recognition rate by auditory model output is higher than the recognition rate by LPC cepstrum coefficients. 3) The adaptation phenomenon of auditory nerve provides useful characteristics for the discrimination of vowel signal.
마이크로컨트롤러 TCP/IP 스텝 모터 위치제어기 구현

In this paper, the microcontroller TCP/IP NIE(Network Interface Equipment) which is exclusive of an operating system is implemented and the applied example to a step motor motion controller is then explained. The microcontroller TCP/IP NIE supplies a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) as well as basic TCP/IP network protocols. So, the automatic setting up of the Dynamic IP(Internet Protocol) is possible. To implement a control of a system with an internet, the microcontroller TCP/IP NIE is applied to a step motor motion controller and a step motor is then controlled with a Microsoft Windows-based Telnet application program.
부정 내적 공간에서의$H^\infty$ 필터의 일반화를 통한 분산 $H^\infty$ 필터의 설계

We design the robust and inherently fault tolerant decetralized$$H^infty$$ filter for the multisensor state estimation problem when there are insufficient priori informations on the statistical properties of external disturbances. For developing the proposed algorithm, an alternative form of suboptimal$$H^infty$$ filter equations are formulated by applying an alternative form of Kalman filter equations to the indefinite inner product space state model of suboptimal$$H^infty$$ filtering problems. The decentralized$$H^infty$$ filter that consists of local and central fusion filters can be designed effciently using the proposed alternative$$H^infty$$ filiter gain equations. The proposed decentralized$$H^infty$$ filter is robust against un-known external disturbances since it bounds the maximum energy gain from the external disturbances to the estimation errors under the prescribed level$$r^2$$ in both local and central fusion filters and is also fault tolerant due to its inherent redundancy. In addition, the central fusion equations between the global and local data can reduce the unnecessary calculation burden effectively. Computer simulations are made to ceritfy the robustness and fault tolerance of the proposed algorithm.

This paper proposed a transfer function of a frequency-controlled resonant inverter for output power control. The inverter is modeled as an equivalent circuit by using Phasor transformation. A transfer function is derived from the equivalent circuit which contains cross-coupled nonlinear parts. By simulation of the circuit, the transfer function can be approximated as a linear first-order function. The proposed transfer function is verified through comparison of experimental and simulation results.
