This study was undertaken to observe the effect of xanthine such as caffeine and aminophylline on the activity of carbonic anhydrase in the kidney and stomach of the mouse. Carbonic anhydrase activities were measured by Philpot & Philpot method (1936). The results of this experiment were as follows: 1. The activity of carbonic anhydrase in the kidney of the mouse was silightly inhibited by the administration of caffeine (0.1 mg/gm, B.W.) or aminophylline (0.08 mg/gm, B.W.). The inhibition was more pronounced by the administration of aminophylline than that of caffeine. 2. In the stomach, there was no significant change in the activity of the carbonic anhydrase after the administration of either caffeine or aminophylline.

The purpose of this study was to provide durability data of concrete using recycled fined aggregate which was produced through a wet production process for making it sure whether it can be put to practical use for concrete. In the experiment, recycled fine aggregate was substitute for natural fine aggregate the rate of 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100% each. The results of the study were as follows; 1 The depth of neutralization was become deeper according to the increase of substitutive ratio of recycled fine aggregate. 2 The performance of length alternation was fallen gradually according to the increase of substitutive ratio of recycled fine aggregate. Hut, it showed the similar durability with concrete using natural fine aggregate fewer than 50% substitution ratio. Bused on the above results, it is concluded that the recycled fine aggregate through the wet production process can be used IS fine aggregate on condition that the substitution ration is under 50%.

Carbonation of concrete caused by carbon dioxide, salt attack, etc. may lead to serious damages to concrete structures. In order to prevent the concrete's crisis caused by losing the durability of concrete. It is very important to measure the carbonated degree with varying depth. There are a lot of methods to measure the degree of carbonation. In those, phenolphthalein method is useful in practical measurement because of portability, economical efficiency, immediate determination. In spite of those strong points, it is impossible to make a distinction from pH 9 to pH 13 because it shows a color changes from carbonated area to uncarbonated area. Thus, in this study the method which is measured the pH with varying carbonation depth by indicators is suggested.

In this research, the possible applicability of mixture blended with natural, crushed, and recycled fine aggregate are discussed. The fresh and hardened properties of mortar using blended fine aggregates are monitored depending on various blending ratio of fine aggregates. Newly developed ternary diagram was also utilized for better interpretation of the data. It was found that air content increased and unit weight decreased as recycled fine aggregate content increased. With moisture type processing of recycled fine aggregate, the mortar flow was not negatively affected by increase in the recycled fine aggregate content. The ternary diagram is found to be an effective graphical presentation tool that can be used for the quality evaluation of mortar using blended fine aggregate.

The amount of construction waste generated is steadily increasing every year, and the Law for Promotion of Recycling is enacted. However, it is difficult to use it as a recycled aggregate for concrete, which is presented in the quality standard of recycled aggregate with high water uptake and low density due to low separation of aggregate between concrete and cement paste. Therefore, in this study, a multi-stage impact crusher was used to remove mortar, which is essential for improving the quality of recycled aggregate. In analyzing the characteristics of the equipment, the spectrum of energy generated in each part between the particle and the equipment was calculated by using DEM. In order to generate an effective separation phenomenon, it was confirmed that the operation condition of 900 RPM was appropriate based on the ratio of the number of collisions (L/H) of the low energy group (L) to the number of collisions of the high energy group (H).
달탐사 로버의 X선 분광기 개념설계를 위한 예비 열해석

일본에서는 현재 달탐사용 로버(Rover)인 SELENE-2를 개발 중에 있으며, 로버에 장착될 X선 분광기 탑재체의 개발은 국제 공동 개발로 추진 중이다. X선 분광기는 달표면의 성분 분석을 위한 탑재체이다. 본 연구에서는 X선 분광기 탑재체의 초기 개념설계를 위하여 열해석을 수행하였다. 탑제체의 기하학적 형상은 공학적 의미가 있도록 전산열유체역학적인 방법을 사용하였다. 다양한 형상과 열경계조건에 따른 열해석을 수행하였으며 그 결과를 분석하였다. 최종 결과는 향후 탑재체의 예비 및 상세 설계자료의 기초 자료로 활용될 것이다. Nowadays, SELENE-2 is under development for the moon explorer rover in Japan. Active X-ray spectrometer payload of the rover development by which the moon surface component is analyzed is on going by the world-wide co-operation. Computational fluid dynamic techniques are used for the conceptual design and analysis. Various shape of the payload and thermal boundary conditions are selected and built up in order to the analysis of the initial design. The results of the analysis is supposed to be used the baseline for the detailed design of the payload in the future.
