Energy consumption in building sector takes 40% of total energy consumption in EU and 24% in korea. Energy reduction in building sector is important to reduce carbon emission against global worming. To improve energy performance of a new building, it is essential to assess energy performance at early design stage (i.e. conceptual design). In practice, however, it is not a trivial job for designers and even engineers to evaluate energy performance of buildings using dynamic energy simulation programs expecting high accuracy of results. To address this, a real-time collaborative system of designers and engineers is required. The purpose of this study is to develop BIM based energy simulation tool(SEP) to improve the productivity of building design process with which designers and engineers work efficiently. The program consists of the Autodesk Revit as user interface, ESP-r as simulation engine and activity database. the user interface and built-in database support users to create detailed building models and get the results of dynamic energy simulation without compromising accuracy.

The importance of LCC analysis has been enlarged. Also, it would be necessary to computerize LCC analysis for accurate and logical analysis of LCC. In other papers, they showed LCC analysis model but the study of database development which could be applied in LCC analysis have been undeveloped. This study showing the development of common database for the LCC analysis computerization inquires into cost breakdown structure by previous researches. Also, it makes cost breakdown structure for deriving LCC cost item. As a result, the standard of LCC analysis computerization by developing LCC DB of cost breakdown structure would be shown.
동절기 옥외 수영장 시설의 운영을 위한 바닥난방 성능평가 및 설계기준에 관한 사례연구

This study aimed to analyze the deck floor heating system of an outdoor swimming pool in terms of the thermal capacity/output and the surface temperature distribution based on the outdoor temperature, to design for anti-freezing during winter. Through the transient heat transfer simulation with PHYSIBEL and theoretical equations, the surface temperature distribution of the floor heating system at two outdoor conditions in Jeju, were calculated and evaluated. The results indicate that the specific thermal output required for maintaining 4℃ surface temperature at the design outdoor temperature of 0.1℃, was about 90 W/m². This performance analysis can be applied for future design criteria, including optimizations of system capacity and size.
병원 내 공기감염의 효과적 방지를 위한 음압격리병실 최적 환기시스템의 실험적 연구

The purpose of this study is to analyze the removal performance of airborne contamination in a negative airborne infectious isolation room by conducting the field measurement and numerical analysis. This research investigates the pollutant distribution patterns by network ventilation simulation (macro analysis), CFD modeling (micro analysis) and field measurement based on three ventilation systems. An effective ventilation system is crucial to protect doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers from patients with infectious diseases. The results show that ventilation systems utilizing the low-level extraction technique are very effective at removing pollutants in the human breathing zone. A new clean isolation room ventilation strategy has been developed that employs two exhaust air grilles on the wall behind the bed, and is found to have the highest pollutant removal efficiency. The numerical simulation was verified by comparing its prediction result and the field measurement. Isolation room design strategies are formulated based on the results made in this study.

HVAC&R systems are the most energy consuming building services representing approximately half of the final energy use in the building sector. Despite their significant energy use, there is a lack of a consistent and homogeneous framework to efficiently guide research, mainly due to the complexity and variety of HVAC&R systems but also to insufficient rigour in their energy analysis. This research reviews energy consumption of HVAC&R systems with the aim of establishing a common idea for the analysis of energy efficiency. The paper focuses on energy flow of the HVAC&R which include air-conditioning, transport and heat generation system for low-energy buildings.

With the Paris Agreement, 195 countries are conducting various studies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The Green New Deal has been announced in Korea and is working to reduce greenhouse gases in various fields. Accordingly, we conducted an analysis of energy requirements according to structural methods and passive technology elements. Heat transfer analysis was conducted with HEAT2 and energy analysis and Exterior Blind systems were applied using Energy#. As a result, RC structures are better at reducing heating energy requirements than PC structures. In addition, passive technology has a greater impact on energy than structural methods.
