Application of bonding by adhesives can be found in many industries, particularly in advanced technological domains such as aeronautical and space, automobile and electronics industries. Periodic inspection with conventional ultrasonic NDE techniques is capable of indicating the presence and possible location of crack. Continuous ultrasonic attenuation monitoring has potential to supply information. This article discusses the use of pulse-echo ultrasonic testing for the inspection of adhesive bonds between metal sheets. The method is based on the measurement of the reflection coefficient at the metal/adhesive interface. By means of a control experiment it is shown that Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation in Adhesive Joints are evaluated together with Ultrasonic Testing and Fracture Testing.

The aim of this study is to estimate clinical outcome of Conservative treatment for patients with Herniated Intervertebral Disc(HIVD) of lumbar spine. We investigated the 33 cases of inpatients who were diagnosed as the HIVD of L-spine and were treated Acupuncture therapy, Herb-medicine, Bee-vom treatment in Oriental Medicine Hospital from March 1, 2005 to November 31, 2005. We evaluated the subjective symptoms by Visual Analogue Scale, Hudgin s classification and follow-up of Activity Daily Living status. The improvement index showed that the oriental medical conservative therapy improved the symptom of HIVD effectively

The method is based on the ultrasonic wave analysis at the metal/adhesive interface. The physical aspects of the phenomenon, an index is defined to detect stress zone of the joint, the influence of the experimental variables(variable stress...) on the measurement is discussed. By means of a control experiment it is shown that frequency wave energy in adhesive joints was confirmed the transition by stress variation.

The Rack-Moving SBW system is separated two parts. One is steering motor control part which uses feedback steering torque from front wheel motor to transfer steering feeling and information of the road to the driver. Another is front wheel motor control part which uses position feedback control to accurate steering and to improve maneuverability and stability. In this study, the steering wheel motor and the front wheel motor are modeled and controlled. Finally, the discrete controller is developed for the proper steering control and the validity was verified by full car simulation.<br/>
토복령이 IL-1β 와 TNF-α로 유발된 Inflammatory Cytokines의 발현 및 생성에 미치는 영향

목적 : 土茯령의 메탄올 抽出이 培養된 인간 synovial 細胞內에서 Interleukin-1β와 Tumor necrosis factor-α로 誘發된 다양한 inflammatory cytokine의 mRNA 發顯과 生成에 미치는 影響을 알아보기 위해 이루어졌다. 방법 : 먼저 정상세포에 대한 세포독성을 평가한 후 RT-PCR, FACS 및 ELISA LEADER 등을 이용해 인간 synovial 細胞內 pro-inflammatory cytokine인 TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β, iNOS와 COX-2 등의 발현 및 생성에 대한 억제효과를 측정하였다. 결과 : 土茯령의 메탄올 抽出物은 mouse의 lung fibroblast 細胞와 사람 fibroblast -like synoviocytes 細胞에 對해서 毒性을 나타내지 않았다. IL-1β, iNOS와 COX-2의 발현이 낮은 dosage(1㎍/ml)에서 억제되었으며, IL-1β와 IL-6의 생성양 역시 대조군에 비하여 유의성있게 억제되었다. 결론 : 土茯령이 관절염의 병기로 작용하는 다양한 inflammatory cytokine들에 對한 抗炎證 效果를 나타냄으로써 Rheumatoid arthritis 등의 염증성 질환의 豫防과 治療에 有用하게 應用될 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 또한 이 같은 결과에 준하여 향 후 유기 용매 분획을 통하여 효과적인 단일 물질 탐색에 대한 연구가 지속되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.
