Cu ( Ⅰ ) Zeolite 에 의한 CO 및 H2의 흡착특성에 관한 연구

Adsorption equilibria of CO and H₂ on Cu(I) ion-exchanged zeolites were studied. Zeolites Na-A, Na-X and Na-Y were ion-exchanged first with CuCl₂ solution, and the Cu(II) ions were reduced by CO gas at 400℃ and 300 Torr to Cu(I). The extents of Cu(II) exchange for A, X and Y zeolites were 94, 89 and 69%, respectively. The adsorption equilibrium characteristics of zeolites were evaluated by CO and H₂ adsorption experiments at the range of 0-50℃, and of 0-700 Torr. The limiting adsorption capacities of CO on the Na-A, Cu(II)-A and Cu(I)-A were 4.41, 4.94 and 6.05 in moles/g, respectively, showing the preferential CO adsorption by Cu(I)-form over either Na- or Cu(II)-form of zeolite A. A similar trend was confirmed with type X and Y zeolites. The limiting CO adsorption capacity of Cu(I)-A was 6.05 mmoles/g to prevail over those of 4.04 and 3.78 mmoles/g for Cu(I)-X and Cu(I)-Y, respectively. H₂ adsorption capacity on these zeolites within the above experimental ranges was generally low to be negligible compared with those of CO. The significant difference in adsorption selectivity of Cu(I)-zeolites indicated that a mixture of these gases could be separated easily by an adsorption system.

Between September, 1987 and March, 1994, 11 patients were treated for the pulmonary aspergilloma.The mean age was 59.6 years. Hemoptysis was the most common chief compliants[100% .Postoperative pathology showed bronchiectasis and tuberculosis were most common underlying diseases.Operative procedures were wedge resection in one patient, segmentectomy in 2, lobectomy in 7. One patient treated conservative.In 3 patients, the postoperative air leakage persisted longer than after other pulmonary resectional surgery.There was no postoperative death. The surgical resection is strongly recommended when the patient develops hemoptysis.

Purpose: To evaluate the safety and visual outcome of intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide combined with photodynamic therapy for subfoveal choroidal neovascularization in patients with age-related macular degeneration. Methods: We evaluated 32 eyes of 32 patients with choroidal neovascularization due to age-related macular degeneration. The study group received photodynamic therapy and intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide (combined group), while the control group received photodynamic therapy only (PDT group). Results: Three months after treatment, no difference was detected between the two groups in visual acuity changes (p>0.05), but the leakage in fluorescein angiography and macular edema in optical coherent tomography decreased (p<0.05) in the combined group. The retreatment rate in the combined group (6.0%) after 3 months was lower than that of the PDT group (53.3%). Conclusions: Photodynamic therapy with intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide to choroidal neovascularization reduced the retreatment rate at 3 months significantly. These results may have been be due to the short-term anti-inflammatory effect of steroids.
