We investigate characteristics of J-aggregation as take advantage of LB technic. In order to confirm the applications possible for the molecular electronic device, the morphological properties of merocyanine dye were investigated by AFM, π-A curves investigated the surface pressure of the LB film from a liquid to a solid state ranged between 90 and 100 mN/m. We observed aggregation and it’s characteristics by using visible reflection spectroscopy, We have observed morphologyof merocyanine dye on gold surface by STM. focuses on results obtained in mercocyanide dye of J-aggregation. When LB films of merocyanine dye are mixed with arachidic acid, J-aggregate formation is exhibited. J-aggregation formation has been serving as typical systems in revealing the physical and structural aspects of nano-sized molecular aggregates constructed as muiltilayers.

The physical properties of the LB films with merocyanine dyes have been published and attract attention due to the possibility of molecular structure control. The evaluation of the thin films was focused for the purpose of molecular structure control. The molecular structure in the case of the thin films with dyes can be examine by optical absorption spectra measurements. In the result measured by optical absorption spectra, the [DX]1-x[DO]x LB films shows a large in-plane anisotropy and the transition dipole moment of red-shifted band is preferentially oriented perpendicular to the dipping direction of the film, while that of the blue-shifted band prefers the dipping direction. The spectrum for 0。, 90。-polarized light coincides with the spectrum for non-polarized light and also with the spectrum was observed in the LB film deposited using a fresh solution. These results show that the aging process does not cause a structural change in chromophore but a change in the degree of molecular orientation. In the results, study of the merocyanine dyes LB films using optical absorption spectra would an interesting problem of absorbance peak shifts and mixed components.
대장 용종에서 cyclooxygenase - 2 와 vascular endothelial growth factor ( VEGF ) 의 발현

N/A Background : Recent studies showed that non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug may reduce the risk of colorectal cancers. So its potential target, cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 in colorectal cancers has been widely investigated. However, the rate and patterns of COX-2 expression in colorectal polyps have been quite variable among study groups. Furthermore, its role has not been established. The study aim is to investigate the expressions of COX-2 and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and to evaluate the role of COX-2 in colorectal polyps. Methods : Fifty-seven colorectal polyps from endoscopic polypectomy or surgical resection were enrolled. Polyps were as follows; 9 were hyperplastic polyps, 14 mild, 26 moderate dysplasia, 8 high grade adenomas (5 severe dysplasia, a carcinoma in situ, and two intramucosal carcinomas). They were stained for COX-2 and VEGF by immunohistochemistry. The intensity of staining according to histologic grades and size of polyp was semi-quantitatively assessed. Results : COX-2 was expressed in 18 cases (31.8%) by dysplastic epithelium and 29 cases (50.9%) by interstitial cells. Epithelial COX-2 expressions were significantly related to histologic grades and size, and begun at moderate dysplasia actually. Interstitial COX-2 was little related to histologic grades and size. VEGF was expressed in 35 cases (61.4%). There was close relationship between epithelial COX-2 and VEGF expressions. Conclusion : COX-2 is expressed both in dysplastic epithelium and interstitial cells of colorectal polyps. Our results suggest that epithelial COX-2 expression may be playing a role in tumorigenesis of colorectal polyp, possibly involved in angiogenesis with VEGF.(Korean J Med 61:240-248, 2001)

Device model parameters are very important for accurate estimation of electrical performances in devices, integrated circuits and their systems. There are a large number of methods for extraction of model parameters in power MOSFETs. For high efficiency, design is important considerations of a power MOSFET with high-voltage applications in consumer electronics. Meanwhile, it was proposed that the efficiency of a MOSFET can be enhanced by conducting JFET region double implant to reduce the On-resistance of the transistor. This paper reports the effects of JFET region double implant on the electrical properties and the decreasing On-resistance of the MOSFET. Experimental results show that the 1st JFET region implant diffuse can enhance the On-resistance by decreasing the ion concentration due to the surface and reduce the On-resistance by implanting the 2nd Phosphorus to the surface JFET region.
