A model of hospitality employees’ e-learning transfer performance
박태수,김민선,지윤호 (사)한국관광레저학회 2015 관광레저연구 Vol.27 No.8
The purpose of this study is to investigate an integrative model that examines the success of the e-learning system by utilizing the DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success(ISS) model. The study was built on their premise that system quality, content quality, and service quality influence user satisfaction, which in turn impacts intention to use and learning transfer performance. The results revealed that content quality and service quality of using hospitality e-learning had a significant positive impact on user satisfaction. However, system quality is neither a positive nor negative factor on user satisfaction, and intention to use is also a neither positive nor negative factor on learning transfer performance. Additionally, the results showed that user satisfaction, compared to intention to use, had a stronger impact on learning transfer performance. E-learning trainers in charge must identify the effectiveness of training by evaluating learning transfer performance as the ultimate goal. They further consider redesigning the training program to be more aligned with actual work practices.
