Five compounds were isolated from the BuOH fraction of Polygonum bistorta (Polygonaceae). On the basis of spectral data, these compounds were established as caffeic acid, quercimeritrin, avicularin, gallic acid and protocatechuic acid. The inhibitory activies on $3{\alpha}-hydroxysteroid$ dehydrogenase $(3\;{\alpha}-HSD)$ of isolated compounds were compared. $IC_{50}$ value of isolated compounds were $133.57\;{\mu}g/ml\;(caffeic\;acid)$, $89.1\;{\mu}g/ml\;(quercimeritrin)$, $189.85\;{\mu}g/ml\;(avicularin)$, $140.69\;{\mu}g/ml\;(gallic\;acid)$ and $165.27\;{\mu}g/ml\;(protocatechuic\;acid)$ respectively. Although all compounds showed lower inhibition activities than BuOH fraction $(IC_{50}<50\;{\mu}g/ml)$ of Polygonum bistorta, it showed higher inhibition activities than aspirin $(IC_{50}\;246.81\;{\mu}g/ml)$.
멀티톤 재밍을 고려한 비동기 FH/FSK 성능 분석에 관한 연구

잡음이 멀티톤 재밍이 있을때 비동기 주파수 도약 FSK(noncoherent frequency hopping/FSK) 시스템의 성능을 분석한다. 랜돔과 조직적 재밍은 멀티톤 재밍을 모델로 생각하였으며, 확률 밀도 함수는 최악의 방해신호하에서 재밍톤 수, 재밍 대 신호적력비, 재밍 신호 위상, 그리고 1개의 통 재밍 전력대 신호 전력비를 변수로 하여 각각에 대한 오율을 정의하고 최적 결정 룰에 적용하였다. 그 결과 한개의 재밍톤 전력 대신호 전력이 1일때 오율이 최대가 되며 또한 랜돔과 조직적 재밍에서의 오율 성능이 거의 같음을 알 수 있음을 보였다. The performance of noncoherent FH/FSK system in the presence of multitone jamming and noise is analyged. Random and the structured jammings are considered as a multitone jamming model. The probability density function is derived and then optimum decision rule is applied to determine error probability of each cases. As a result, error probabilities of random and structured multitone jamming are shown as a function of number of jamming tones, jamming to signal power ratio, jamming signal phase and one jamming tone power to signal power ratio under Worst-case Jamming interference. It is found that error probability is maximam when one jamming tone power to signal power ratio is 1. Also we know that error performance of random and structured jamming is almost equal.

$3{\alpha}-Hydroxysteroid$ dehydrogenase $(3{\alpha}-HSD)$ is one of the main enzymes involved in the metabolism of the active androgen, dihydrotestosterone. The NAD(P)-linked $3{\alpha}-HSD$ of rat liver cytosol is powerfully inhibited by the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in rank-order of their therapeutic potency. This observation has now been developed into a rapid screen for predicting the potency of products that show anti-inflammatory effect. 52-Chinese Herbs that clear heat were screened by using this method.
수정발진자를 이용한 NAVTEX 수신기용 협대역 여파기 설계

This paper evaluate the performance using a simulated 490KHz narrow band filter based on characteristic parameters appropriately extracted from 490KHz band-pass filter after considering each characteristic, which is modeled on equivalent circuit and applied to NAVTEX receiver using crystal oscillator. The evaluation results show that the value of a series capacitor of crystal oscillator has only little capacity by Cs=21.094fF and the bandwidth characteristics of filter go worse as the capacity value of crystal oscillator grow increase. Moreover, the series inductance value of crystal oscillator has a relatively big value by L=5H, therefore the bandwidth characteristic according as inductance's capacity shows more little effect than the capacity. 본 논문에서는 수정 발진자를 이용하여 NAVTEX 수신기에 적용 가능한 490KHz 대역여파기를 등가회로로 모델화하고 컴퓨터로 시뮬레이션한 후, 각각의 특성에 알맞은 특성 파라미터를 추출하고 이를 바탕으로 490KHz 협대역 여파기를 제작한 후 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 수정 발진자의 직렬 커패시터 값은 $C_s{\fallingdotseq}21.094fF$로 매우 작은 용량값을 나타내야하며 제작된 수정 발진자의 용량값 편차가 크면 클수록 필터의 대역폭 특성이 나빠지는 결과를 알 수 있었다. 또한 수정발진자의 직렬 인덕턴스 값은 $L{\fallingdotseq}5H$정도의 비교적 큰 값을 나타내므로 인덕턴스의 용량 변화에 따른 대역폭 특성은 커패시터의 영향보다 비교적 적음을 알 수 있었다.

An ISM multiband carrier generation architecture is proposed that can be used for RFID reader, WLAN 802.11a-b-g using an inverter-C polyphase filter. In the proposed architecture, a quadrature voltage controlled oscillator (QVCO) is implemented by coupling two differential cross-coupled LC VCOs to generate in-phase (T) and quadrature (Q) signals operating at one-thirds of the 5 ㎓ frequency range. As well, the differential second harmonic signal of the VCO core frequency is generated by mixers, and then converted to I/Q signals via a two-stage inverter-C polyphase filter (PPF). By single sideband (SSB) mixing of the I/Q signals of the QVCO and the PPF, cleaner carrier signal is generated in the desired frequency range from 4.9-5.8 ㎓. By including frequency dividers, the system can also be reconfigured to generate 868/915 ㎒ and 2.4 ㎓ ISM bands.

In this paper the error rate performance was analyzed by using computer simulation operated in DS/SS system under the interference environments. The results was compared with PN and tone interference on constant Tq (chip time for jamming). PN interference was a little lower than tone interference in error probability of system. However in case that B. G(back ground) noise was added to the system tone interferece showed lower probability than PN interference. In case that B. G noise was below SNR=5(dB), B.G noise had net effect on the system. In order to lower error probability of system, it is necessary to lower the length of Tq and increase fo (jam tone frequency) in the system.

This paper is an attempt to present a silicon device, with an optical threshold, which can operate as a digital optical switch. The operation and characteristics of the devices are described, and it is proved that its theory has a good correlation with experimental results. The responsivility and sensitivity of 0.9 [A/W] and 3.9 ×10?? [㎃/㎶] are obtained respectively. Possible applications in fast optical digital isolation and in optical communication system are envisaged.

This Thesis is to identify the transmission loss found such as in connection microbending and baseband by comparing and analyzing the measured results from sending two different signals through fiber optic transmission line that has vulnerability to outside environment. The OTDR(Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) is used to measure the transmission loss when transmitting 1.31〔㎛〕and 1.55〔㎛〕test signals respectively. This experiment could prove a series of transmission loss caused by following factors : - environmental factors such as dust and humidity - interconnections and crossconnections - connection to the OFD(Optical Fiber Distribution Shelf) - architectural unbalance of wave path in a connection box(microbending loss) - connecting discrepancy within a connector - discrepancies of optical fiber diameters entailing dispersion of reflections
