급격한 산업화와 개발 시대를 살아오면서 우리가 애써 외면하며 살아왔고, 각 개인에게 책임을 전가해 온 '이웃'의 문제들을 어떻게 할 것인가? 그 안에서 파생되는 여러 가지 사회적 문제들을 어떻게 할 것인가? 현대 도시에서 전통적 개념의 '마을'이 갖고 있는 장점들을 다시 회복할 수 있을까를 고민하는 것이 최근 우리의 중요한 관심사가 되고 있다. 서울시의 주력 사업 중 하나인 마을공동체사업은 주민 간 네트워크 형성에 목적을 두고 활발히 진행되고 있고 긍정적인 성과도 나타나고 있다. 마을 공동체를 회복하려는 노력에서 필요한 것 중 하나가 공간적인 접근을 통한 공동체성의 회복이다. 주민들이 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 공간을 확보하는 것이 작지만 큰 효과를 가져 올 수도 있다. 가시적 접근성이 높은 공동체 공간은 주민들의 소통과 교류의 공간으로써 큰 효과를 보이는 사례를 찾아볼 수 있다. 급격한 사회변화를 거치면서 사라지거나 외면해 온 '소통과 생활공간으로서의 골목길'과 '마을'이 가지고 있었던 공간적 형태, 그 속에서 자신들의 삶을 공유하고 살았던 마을 사람들의 관계망을 제대로 이해하고, 이러한 공간적 특성을 반영할 수 있는 주거 공간 네트워크에 대한 연구와 실험 등을 통한 공동체 회복 노력이 필요하다. It has recently become a major concern for us contemplating could regain the advantage with a 'village' concept of the traditional in a modern city. The village community recovery project which is one of the flagship projects of seoul is being actively conducted with the aim to form a network between residents and have even appeared positive results. Among the many efforts to recover community, spatial approach may be one solution. To secure a space for people to easily access, may bring about a small but significant effect. Community Space with high visual accessibility has a large effect as a space of communication and exchange of residents. Socio-economic efforts to restore the community has a limit. In some cases of poor village, Spatial relationship network was found to be a large influence on the formation of the socio-economic relations network. It is important to understand how people lived and formed a relationship within the space of traditional forms and space disappeared from rapid social change process. The community recovery efforts are needed through research and experiments for the residential network can reflect the spatial characteristics.

In this study, To reduce the weight of the front axle beam for medium duty commercial vehicle, structural optimization was processed by applying design load case. Design parameters that affect the structural strength were set as thickness, width and height of upper frame. To analyze the influence of design parameters, Optimized methods were used. The final optimized design model has the higher strength than the initial design model.
대학 캠퍼스 보행자 이동패턴과 보행네트워크간의 상호관련성

Many Korean university campuses are located on hilly terrain where the hierarchy of the path system is unclear. Therefore, it is difficult to analyze the pedestrian network through space syntax, in which only horizontal direction changes are considered as depths of space. The purpose of this study is to compare pedestrian movement patterns and space syntax analysis in order to find their relevance to each other and the relationship between them. We conducted a survey regarding the most-visited buildings and pathways at S-University, which is located on a hilly area in Seoul. The survey results were compared with the Space Syntax integration map by regression analysis. For the segments where the relationship between pedestrian volume and integration was weak, field observations were conducted. As a result, topographical aspects, functional aspects, and location aspects were observed as the main influential factors. In addition, the research proposes that adding an extra axial line per vertical directional change can potentially compensate for the low relevance of stairs. This study suggests the possibility and the necessity of three-dimensional space syntax programs and emphasizes the importance of campus planning for the pedestrian environment.

Recently, independent front suspension system for trucks are used to reduce fuel consumption and get better ride comfort. Because of heavy loads on wheels the components of the truck independent suspension system should be carefully designed. In this paper, structural and fatigue analysis of lower and upper control arms of the medium duty truck independent suspension system are carried out. It is found that the developed control arms have sufficient strength and fatigue life under design load conditions.
