In order to convert efficiently vibration energy of a car tire wheel into electrical power by using piezoelectric materials, the design of the materials must be performed for the dynamic characteristics of the piezoelectric materials to be matched with them of the vibration energy sources well. An accelerometer was installed on the tire wheel with a slip ring to investigate the dynamic mode of the wheel as one of the vibration energy sources. During road test, the measurement on the vibration mode of the tire wheel was performed with variations of car speed and road condition. The experimental data were analyzed details for availability as a micro power source for wireless TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System).

In the present study, the performance characteristics of a centrifugal air compressor were investigated experimentally. The PC controlled performance test facility for a centrifugal air compressor driven by an electric motor with a gear box to achieve higher compressor rotating speed was set up in the present study. The performance test for a turbocharger compressor of a diesel engine was conducted, and in a case of 34,800 rpm, pressure ratio 1.18, flow rate 0.09kg/s, compressor efficiency 61% were investigated. Adiabatic power for a tested compressor showed maximum value at mass flow ratio 0.8. The value of mass flow ratio of maximum efficiency was about 0.37, it was independent of compressor rotating speed.

This study describes the results of the analysis of measured rotating stall signal in a centrifugal compressor with vaneless diffuser. Unsteady flow and rotating stall in vaneless diffuser were investigated by measuring of unsteady velocity fluctuation using hot-wire anemometer. Experiments were carried out in several impeller rotating speeds, at different radius ratios. Single hot -wire was used to study the characteristics of rotating stall. As a result, the abrupt rotating stall was detected at all measured impeller rotating speeds and the several flow coefficients which are less than 0.16. The number of the stall cell was one at all measured rotational speeds, and the rotating direction was the same as that of the impeller. As the flow rate decreased, the profile of the phase averaged radial velocity component with time changed from a sawtooth to a sine wave.

Experimental study was performed to understand the operation of an on-site showcase working in a super discount store. Inlet and outlet temperatures of evaporator, condenser, expansion valve and compressor were measured for both air and refrigerant sides. Electric power consumption of compressors, defrosting heaters, cooling water pumps and etc. were measured. The operating characteristics of the showcase system under various working conditions were analyzed and discussed. During the defrosting process, the air temperature inside the showcase increased to 15℃, which gave harmful effect to the frozen food. The collected data will serve as valuable information for diagnosing and improving the performance of showcases.

The Charter of National Education was enacted and proclaimed as a goal for establishing the ??itual attitude of the nation in proportion as the rapid economical progress has been making. And so, we Korean are endeavoring untiringly for both making an ideal image of the nation and the establishment view on values. It is very difficult for us to create or change our attitudes and views on values, because those attitudes and views on values concern with the inner region of our bodies in the side of personality structure rather than any other things. This thesis deals the analysis of many problem led from humanbeings and its society and aims to study how to establish the ideal image of society and reconstruct our humanbeings in accordance with the establishment of a new image of humanbeings and views on value of us by the spirit of the Charter of Natonal Education.
Ultra-Low Power Quadrature LO-Generator

This work presents an ultra-low power quadrature local oscillation (LO) generator for mobile transceivers using a low-dropout (LDO) regulator and low noise voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). Using a loop-gain stabilizer in LDO, the gain of the error amplifier can be constant in a wide range of load current or reference voltage. The LDO achieves high PSR and fast transient-response. Since the proposed LDO is based on the gate-pole dominant, it can be integrated on-chip. For low phase noise, NMOS-type LC-VCO is used. To reduce phase noise, a tail inductor was added. The LDO using a loop-gain stabilizer shows a fast response of 138 ns and a high PSR of −70 dB at 10 kHz to 1 MHz offset frequency, regulating output at 1.0 V with a 1.1 V supply voltage. The VCO shows a frequency range of 7.675 GHz to 12.301 GHz with a power consumption of 10 mW to 12 mW at a regulated supply of 1.0 V.

This study presents the centrifugal compressor performance for three different vane stagger angles and wall pressure distribution within vaned diffuser channels, and is also discussed about the stability with respect to the compressor components. As the vane stagger angle decreases, the flow rate for the stall onset decreases, and higher pressure can be obtained at the low flow rate region, however, the effective operation range of the compressor decreases because of the blockage effect of the diffuser vane. Low pressure pocket within the vaned diffuser channel moves from the pressure side of leading edge to the suction side as the flow rate decreases. The compressor system stability mainly depends on that of the diffuser.
