루이스 칸의 건축에서 ‘빛’의 시간적 의미와 그 건축적 표현에 관한 연구 - 장프랑수아 리오타르의 ‘숭고’와의 유사성과 그 존재론적 의미를 중심으로 -

This study focuses not only on their similarity between J. Lyotard's ‘sublime’ and L. Kahn's idea ‘light’ but also on its architectural expression of the light as ‘time.’ For this purpose, the historical and philosophical backgrounds of ‘American sublime’ and significances of Kahn's architectural ideas are analyzed. Ultimately, this study finds that the ‘sublime’ is substituted to Kahn's ‘light’ as well as that their architectural characteristics such as 1) Structure - light that makes people realize existence, 2) Exposed Material – the light that reveals an essence, and 3) Relative Size – the light that forms hierarchy of space in Kahn's architecture. To sum up, Kahn's idea ‘light’ are summarized as follows. Firstly, through the structure, L. Kahn intends to catch the ‘time’ and evokes wonder and surprise of experiencing space by an indeterminacy of light. Secondly, Kahn exposes a material to find an essence which reveals an architectural existence, and natural light to catch time by different appearances of materials every moment. Finally, it is Relative Size – the light that forms hierarchy of space. Through the light varied in 'darkness-brightness' depending on relative size of space, L. Kahn creates a hierarchy between spaces and make to experience a changing space, and finally to feel an emotion of surprise and wonder. In conclusion, L. Khan realizes light as a medium for grasping time, and succeeded in restoring an essence of architecture, monumentality of architecture which had been lost in an existential sense.

루이스 칸의‘감탄’의 의미와 그 건축적 구현에 관한 연구 - I. 칸트의‘숭고’관념과의 유사성과 근대성의 실존주의적 의미를 중심으로 -

This study focuses not only on their similarity between I. Kant's ‘sublime’ and L. Kahn's idea ‘wonder’ but also on their architectural expressions. For this, the philosophical background of the ideas and significances of Kahn's architectural idea are discussed. Ultimately, this study finds that the ‘sublime’ is substituted to Kahn's ‘wonder’ and that the architectural characteristics such as 1) a large size, 2) a light as a natural light, 3) a resistance of construction clearly revealed, and 4) an exposure of material are strongly expressed in Kant's architecture. To sum up, his architectural meanings and properties are summarized as follows. Firstly, Kahn designs to make an observer encountering an unpredictable space feel ‘a wonder’ especially by emphasizing a space locating a relatively intended ‘Huge’ size and phase especially in central spaces. Secondly, he intends through his bring the natural ‘Light’ into the inner space in various ways such as skylights and side-top windows to capture the time infinite, ultimately to capture the changing of the time and seasons finally for a feeling of the ‘sublime-wonder’. Thirdly, he draws an emotion of ‘sublime’ out by using an unpredictable, evident, and simple structure as a resistance. Finally, he intends by revealing the nature of materiality to create an elevated feeling, and ultimately to feel its meaning of the existence. As a result, Khan successfully accomplishes again a restoration of the architectural essentiality as so-called ‘monumentality’ as well as showing the spirit of modernity so-called ‘creativity’.

시야각을 제한하면, 가상현실 체험자가 한 번에 받아들일 수 있는 정보가 줄어든다. 본 논문에서는 회전이 발생할 때 체험자가 집중하게 되는 시야가 회전 방향과 평행한 방향이라고 가정한다. 이러한 가정으로부터 정보 손실을 최소화하는 시야각 제한 방법을 찾는 것을 목표로 한다. 회전방향과 수직 방향인 시야각만 제한한다면, 체험자가 같은 시간 내에 얻을 수 있는 정보량은 늘어나고, 멀미 저감의 효과도 얻을 것으로 기대하였다. 따라서 상단과 하단에만 블러 효과를 가지는 마스크를 구상하였다. 구상한 마스크가 적용된 영상과 기존에 멀미 감소 효과가 있던 원형의 마스크가 적용된 영상, 마스크가 적용되지 않은 영상에서 체험자가 느끼는 멀미를 SSQ 설문을 통해 측정한다. 실험 결과, 예상과 다르게 구상한 마스크를 사용 시 멀미를 느끼게 하는 요소로 작동한다는 결과를 도출하였다. 실험 결과를 마스크에 대한 선호도와 피험자의 근시 유무, 영상에서 회전 운동의 분량의 측면에서 분석한다.

다문화 접촉경험과 다문화 교육이해가 다문화 교육역량에 미치는 영향: 예비유아교사를 중심으로

본 연구에서는 예비유아교사의 다문화 교육역량에 있어서 다문화 접촉경험과 다문화 교육이해가 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 자료 수집을 위해 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 292명을 대상으로 다문화 교육역량, 다문화 접촉경험, 다문화 교육이해에 대한 설문을 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 SPSS 27프로그램을 통해 기술통계분석, Cronbach’s α계수산출, 독립표본 t-검정, 일원배치 분산분석, 피어슨의 상관분석, 위계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 배경 변인에 따라 다문화 교육역량, 다문화 접촉경험, 다문화 교육이해는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 다문화 접촉경험과 다문화 교육이해는 다문화 교육역량과 정적 상관관계에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 각 변인이 예비유아교사의 다문화 교육역량에 대해 다문화 교육이해, 다문화 접촉경험 순으로 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 예비유아교사의 다문화 교육역량을 함양하기 위한 기초적 자료로써 작용할 수 있으며, 더 나아가 예비유아교사를 대상으로 하는 다문화교육의 중요성과 필요성을 제시하였다. This study verified the relative influence of pre-service early childhood teachers multicultural experiences and multicultural understanding on multicultural educational competency. To this end, data were collected by conducting questionnaires on the multicultural educational competency, experience, and understanding of 292 pre-service early childhood teachers. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 27.0 and frequency, mean, standard deviation, reliability test, independent sample t-verification, one-way ANOVA, Schéffe, post-verification, partial correlations, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were performed. The results of this study were as follows: First, there were significant differences in multicultural educational competencies, multicultural experiences, and multicultural understanding according to the background variables of prospective infant teachers. Second, it has been shown that the multicultural experience and understanding of pre-service early childhood teachers are statically related to multicultural education competencies. Third, it was found that prospective early childhood teachers had a great influence on multicultural understanding and multicultural experience in their multicultural educational competencies. This study can be used as a basic resource to cultivate the multicultural educational competencies of pre-service early childhood teachers. It also presents the importance and necessity of multicultural educational competencies for pre-service early childhood teachers.

자연어 처리 기술을 활용한 비대면 한국어 회화 연습 애플리케이션 설계 및 구현

본 논문은 비대면 한국어 회화 시험 연습용 안드로이드 애플리케이션을 제안한다. 한국어 학습에 대한 수요가 증가함에 따라 효과적인 한국어 회화 학습을 위해선 시·공간의 제약이 없는 학습 환경에서 사용자에게 구체적인 평가 지표를 제공할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구는 자연어 처리 기술을 활용하여 사용자의 한국어 회화 능력을 평가하는 알고리즘과 개인의 취약점을 보완할 수 있는 비대면 학습 플랫폼을 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다. 본 논문의 결과를 통해 회화 학습의 비용을 절감하고, 효율적인 언택트 학습 지원이 가능할 것으로 기대한다.
