수족궐음경(手足厥陰經)의 경혈(經穴)이 심박변이도 SDNN에 미치는 영향

Objectives : This study is to investigate stimulation effects of acupoints at differential meridian along arm and leg on thephysiological phenomenon of heartbeats. Methods : 8 subjects were participated in this study. The experiments were performed in Resting session(Rs), Insertion session(Is), Stimulation session1(Ss1), Stimulation session2(Ss2), Stimulation session3(Ss3) sequence. Time of each session and the interval between each session was 30 seconds all. Acupuncture was performed manually on PC3 or LR8 at random with a two-day interval. stand deviation of N-N interval(SDNN) was measured for each session. Results : At PC3, SDNN increased in Ss1, Ss2, and Ss3 compared to Rs but at LR8, there was little change between Ss1, Ss2, Ss3 and Rs. Post-hoc analysis revealed that mean value of SDNN significantly increased in Ss1 compared with Baseline at PC3, while there was little change at LR8. When LR8 and PC3 were compared at each time point, there was a significant difference only in Ss1. Conclusions : Our results indicate that there is a correlation between specific physiological functions and acupoints.

Objectives: This study investigated the change of foot rotation angle of gait analysis parameters according to gait improvement in post-stroke hemiplegic patients. Methods: We measured the foot rotation angle of eight post-stroke hemiplegic patients at the time of dependent and independent gait. Results: The foot rotation angle of the paralyzed side reduced closer to normal average according to gait improvement, but the non-paralyzed side not significantly. Conclusions: Improvement of foot rotation is an important thing for independent gait of post-stroke hemiplegic patients so this treatment seems worthy of being considered in clinical trials.

■ Objectives The goal of this study is to find the correlation between the motor function and gait pattern of stroke patients. ■ Methods We measured Manual muscle test(MMT), Motricity index(MI) and Spatiotemporal gait parameters of admitted hemiplegic patients with stroke. The gait parameters were measured using a Treadmill gait system. ■ Results There is a significant correlation between motor function and spatiotemporal parameters such as step length, stride length, step time, stride time, total double support or cadence, in stroke patients. ■ Conclusion The better motor function of stroke was, the more gait improved.

■ Objectives The aim of study is to analyze the change of gait pattern by arm sling in a hemiplegic patient. ■ Methods We analyzed the change of gait pattern under three conditions using Treadmill Gait analysis equipment(Zebris Co.Ltd FDM-T) First, the patient didn't have arm sling on her upper limb, second, the patient have arm sling on her affected upper limb, third, patient have arm sling on her unaffected upper limb. ■ Results In terms of spatiotemporal gait values, swing phase, step time, step length of unaffected lower limb increased. Furthermore, stride time and stride length also increased when the patient had arm sling on her unaffected upper limb. In terms of displacement of Center of pressure(CoP), anterior/posterior position and lateral symmetry of CoP increased. Furthermore, lateral symmetry of decreased when the patient had arm sling on her affected upper limb. ■ Conclusion Arm sling applied on affected side would be advantage to gait improvement in hemiplegic patients.
편마비 환자의 운동수행능력과 질량중심 변화의 상관 관계

■ Objectives The aim of this study is to look into the correlation between motor performance and displacement of center of pressure(CoP) in hemiplegic patients with cerebral stroke. ■ Methods We measured manual muscle test(MMT) as motor performance value and, anterior/posterior position(Ant./Post. position) and lateral symmetry of CoP as displacement of CoP values from 129 stroke patients. The gait analysis was carried out using treadmill gait analysis equipment. ■ Results In terms of motor performance, MMT of upper extremity negatively correlated with Ant/Post position of CoP, however, one of lower extremity did not. In addition, MMT of both extremities negatively correlated with lateral symmetry of CoP. ■ Conclusion Displacement of CoP was negatively correlated with hemiplegic patient's motor performance.
