국내 유통품 남강활 및 북강활의 HPLC 성분패턴 비교분석

        김효선,서영혜,이아영,류승목,최고야,문병철,이준 한약정보연구회 2020 한약정보연구회지 Vol.8 No.2

As a part of a comparative study of the chemical components of A. reflexa roots by two cultivation types, Namganghwal and Bukganghwal, which are the same taxonomic origin but are classified according to their cultivation method and ecological type, seven samples of Namganghwal and six samples of Bukganghwal, currently distributed in Korea, were collected and their chemical components were identified by high-performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array detector (HPLC-PDA). Through this study, a total of ten major peaks were detected, and eight of them were identified as chlorogenic acid (1), ferulic acid (4), oxypeucedanin hydrate (5), bisabolangelone (6), oxypeucedanin (7), imperatorin (8), osthole (9), and isoimperatorin (10), respectively. Based on these analyses, as a result of comparing the component patterns of Namganghwal and Bukganghwal, the major component patterns of the two groups showed significant differences. In particular, oxypeucedanin (7), imperatorin (8), and isoimperatorin (10) were detected with higher levels in Namganghwal samples, and ferulic acid (4) was detected with higher levels in Bukganghwal samples. In this study, we report the analysis method of chemical components of A. reflexa roots, identification of the components, and comparative analysis of the component patterns of two types of A. reflexa roots, Namganghwal and Bukganghwal.

HPLC를 이용한 국내 유통품 황금의 성분패턴 비교 연구

        김효선,서영혜,양선규,서창섭,이아영,류승목,최고야,문병철,이준 한약정보연구회 2020 한약정보연구회지 Vol.8 No.2

This study compares and analyzes the difference in components between the two types of Scutellaria baicalensis roots according to morphological discrimination. The roots of S. baicalensis are divided into two types, Jo-geum and Go-geum, according to the harvest time and shape, and these have been used for different therapeutic purposes. But currently, comparative studies on the chemical constituents and efficacy of them are insufficient. In this study, a total of 14 samples of S. baicalensis roots, distributed in Korea, were collected and divided into two types (Jo-geum and Go-geum) through morphological discrimination. Their main four components, baicalin (1), wogonoside (2), baicalein (3), and wogonin (4), were identified and analyzed using high-performance liquid chromatography with a photodiode array detector. As a result, the signal of wogonin (4) showed a significant difference between the two types. A relatively higher level of signals was detected in the Go-geum samples regardless of the origin. In addition, these component patterns were consistent with the morphological discrimination results.

UPLC를 이용한 국내 유통품 전호의 성분패턴 비교 연구

        김효선,이아영,서영혜,류승목,최고야,문병철,이준 한약정보연구회 2021 한약정보연구회지 Vol.9 No.2

This study aims to compare and analyze the difference in components of Peucedani Radix distributed in Korea using ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC). Eighteen samples distributed in Korea as Jeonho or Asam were collected and used for this study. Three identified standard medicines, Peucedanum praeruptorum, Angelica decursiva, and Anthriscus sylvestris, were used for comparative analysis of major components with collected samples. In the case of 7 samples from Korea, K1―K7, they were identified as A. sylvestris because they all showed a similar component pattern and included deoxypodophyllotoxin (3). However, it has been confirmed that A. sylvestris is sold under the same Korean name as Jeonho, P. praeruptorum, and A. decursiva, which are the original plants of Peucedani Radix in the Korean Pharmacopoeia. On the other hand, among 11 samples from China, C1―C11, eight samples showed similar component patterns and contained the same marker component (4―6), so they were identified as P. praeruptorum, but the remaining three samples, C2, C4, and C8, showed different component patterns from the three standard medicines.

민꽃게 추출물의 역류성 식도염 동물모델에서 유효성 평가

        남현화,서윤수,이지혜,서영혜,양선규,문병철,김욱진,난리,추병길,김중선 대한본초학회 2020 大韓本草學會誌 Vol.35 No.4

Objectives : In this study, we investigated the protective effects of Charybdis japonica (C. japonica) water extract on the acute reflux esophagitis in rat models. Methods : Twenty rats were divided into four groups for examination: normal control group (n=6), the reflux esophagitis group (n=6), reflux esophagitis treated with positive control group (ranitidine 40 ㎎/㎏, n=6), reflux esophagitis treated with C. japonica group (100 ㎎/㎏, n=6). All rats fasted for 18 hr and then were induced with reflux esophagitis by a pylorus and forestomach ligation operation. After 4 hr, the rats were sacrificed. The pro- inflammatory cytokine and proteins expression measured by western bolt assay, and the histopathological analysis of the esophageal mucosa measured by hematoxylin and eosin staining. Results : C. japonica administration significantly was protecting esophageal mucosal damage upon histological analysis of reflux esophagitis in rats. The C. japonica treatment confirmed the protection of the reduction of claudin-5, an evaluation index of the damage of tight junctions in the reflux esophagitis. C. japonica was also found to inhibit the expression of proteins such as COX-2 and TNF-α in the rat esophagus. C. japonica markedly attenuated the activation of NF-κB and phosphorylation of IκBα at the same time. Conclusion : These results indicated that C. japonica suppressed the development of esophagitis through the modulation of inflammation by regulating NF-κB activation. Based on these findings, we concluded that C. japonica can prevent reflux esophagitis
