EU sue a korean shipbuilding industry in WTO. So, I wish this study should propose a method of cooperation of this industry in Northeast Asia through International Trade dispute between Korea and EU. As a result of this study, we should make a system of cooperation in Northeast Asia shipbuilding industry. The contents are as follow ; 1. The object of dispute of EU was aimed at shipbuilding countries in Northeast Asia. So, we should make a multilateral negotiation system in this area. 2. According to the international specialization theory, these countries should make a specialization. ; Korea - Post Panamax Container ship, LNG ship, Japan - High Valuable ships, China - medium and small size Container ships, bulk ship, a field of ship repair 3. We are organized to a council for shipbuilding industry cooperation in these area.

한국기업의 해외시장에서의 위조상품 대응전략에 관한 연구

Recently, there has been rapid and spectacular increase in world wide counterfeiting and other forms of piracy. According to the World Customs Organization(WCO), counterfeiting accounts for 5 to 7 percent of global merchandise trade, equivalent to lost sales of as much as US$512 billion last year. Also Korean firms’ damages arising from the infringement of intellectual property rights in global markets, especially in China market, are increasing. However, the existing studies on the intellectual property rights(IRP) protection have mainly focused on legal protection. Because the law is often not the best defense against theft of intellectual property rights, we must develop more effective defensive weapons for protection of IRP. Given this troublesome trend, the intention of this paper is to discuss strategic and tactical efforts, including legal protection, that can serve as proactive measures to deter counterfeiting and thus to assure the protection of Korean firms’ intellectual property rights.

전략물자 관련 기업내부 자율준수제도에 관한 연구

  Because of the tightened concerns over terrorism and national security raised by the attacks of September 11, 2001, multilateral export control regimes tightened export controls of dual-use goods and technology for national security. In order to build effective export controls, not only export regulations by government agencies, but also internal export controls within private companies are necessary. This internal export control system within firms is called CP(Compliance Program) or ICP(Internal Compliance Program), EMS(Export Management System).<BR>  The purpose of this paper is to discuss CP as proactive measures to prevent violating export controls and thus to promote the introduction of Korean firms" CP through analyzing CP system in both America and Japan, and case study.

Due to the rapid spread of the Internet usage, Electronic Commerce is rapidly developing and this has greatly simplified the distribution channel of commerce in general.<br/> However, in order for these predictions to be realized, several prerequisites have to be satisfied. The problem that has to be solved above all, is the setting up of an adequate payment system. Even at this moment, new electronic payment systems are being introduced and other systems are being researched and developed.<br/> TradeCard, Bolero, Identrus is a B2B(business-to-business) e-commerce infrastructure that enables buyers and sellers to conduct and settle e-trade transactions securely over the Internet.<br/> The objective of TradeCard, Bolero, Identrus is to provide a secure, reliable, cost-effective and user-friendly solution for conducting and settling e-trade transactions.<br/> This study analyzes the reviews of TradeCard, Bolero, Identrus by Electronic Message and the various problems which come to application of TradeCard, Bolero, Identrus with particular attention to existing international frameworks for payment systems based on Documentary Credit.

한,중 FTA 이후의 개성공단 활용방안 연구

본 논문은 한ㆍ중 FTA의 중요한 내용 중에 하나인 개성공단의 역외가공지역 지정에 대한 규정에 주목하고, 개성공단의 역외가공 규정에서 나타날 수 있는 전반적인 내용을 분석하였다. 그리고 분석을 통하여 관련 문제점을 고찰한 후 그 대응 및 활용방안을 제시하였다. 관련 문제점으로는 개성공단의 임금 상승, 역외가공위원회 방식에서 나타날 수 있는 협상 충돌의 가능성, 연간 수출량의 정체, 역외가공 품목의 원산지 증명 절차의 복잡함과 관련 비용의 증가, 북한의 예측 불가능한 행동으로 인한 정치적 위험 등으로 나타났다. 대응 및 활용방안으로는 북한 내 일정 부분의 원자재를 활용하여 물류비를 줄이고 통행절차의 간소화 및 물류시설의 확충 등으로 원가를 절감하여야 하며, 역외가공위원회의 협상에서 적극적인 태도로 허용품목을 확대하고, 북한의 저렴하고 가치가 있는 천연자원을 활용하여 생산제품을 다각화해야 한다. 역외가공에 품목에 대한 원산지 증명과 절차를 간소 하게 하고 비용을 줄여야 하며 개성공단이 중국과의 무역을 원활히 수행하기 위해서는 정치적 위험을 해소하는 것이 무엇보다 필요하다. The purpose of this study is to present utilization measure through analysis of the overall information that can appear in the outward processing provisions of the Gaesong industrial complex, focusing on regulations for the designation of outward processing zone in the Gaesong industrial complex, one of the important contents of the Korea-China FTA. Rrelated issues include an increase of wages, the possibility of negotiating conflicts that may appear in committee on outward processing zones, the stagnation of annual exports, the complexity and associated costs of the proof and procedure of origin of outward processing items and the political risk due to unpredictable behavior by North Korea. Relative response and utilization measure is to reduce logistics costs by utilizing raw materials in North Korea area, reduce production costs by simplification of traffic procedure and enlarge logistics facilities, expand the allowable items with a positive attitude in the negotiation of outward processing committee, diversify its production by utilizing a cheaper and valuable natural resources of North Korea area, simplify the proof and procedure of origin on the outward processing products and reduce its relative costs and eliminate the political risk in order for Gaeseong industrial complex to carry out trade with China smoothly.

전자어음 및 그 대체수단에 관한 고찰

Commerical promissory note plays an important role in raising short-term capital by small and mid businesses in more developed countries. According to developing electronic mediums, the use of electronic payment systems is facilitating changes and development in commercial transaction now a day. Especially Electronic Promissory Note(hereinafter EPN) came to be able to issue and transfer in the cyber space. This study suggest policy issues, validation of EPN under Electronic Promissory Note Act and alternative methods of EPN. EPN has many good points in the commercial transaction such as reducing cost of issuing physical note, risk of custody and delivery and shortage of transferability. Although these kinds of good points, EPN has may bad points such as EPN user's recognition, shortage of bill discounting markets, absence of incentive using EPN, information security and revision of Electronic Promissory Note Act. In the view point of process of EPN is based on the data message. Before contractual party use a EPN, firstly user is sending to the EPN public office for agreement of open a current account with issuing bank. secondly user is receiving to complete the promissory note signature process electronically. thirdly user responses to all questions throughout this process will be recorded and made part of user's electronic signature by data messages. At the end of the electronic signature process, user will be assigned an account and a password for future use. Finally, I introduce alternative methods of supplementation for EPN such as Electronic Credit, Securitization of business procurement credit, credit card for business procurement and loan for business procurement.
