진동자극을 이용한 저항운동이 앞십자인대 재건술 후 무릎관절 근력과 균형에 미치는 영향

Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate how the resistive exercises with vibration stimuli could affect the strength of knee muscles and balance in patients with a history of reconstructive surgery. Methods: Thirty four subjects with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction were randomly divided into 3 groups; Resistive exercises with vibration stimuli group (n=11), Resistive exercises (n=11) and control group (n=12). The paired t-test was used to show the variation before and after exercise in all three groups. One way ANOVA was used to separate the total variation between groups. Results: The results showed that there was significant improve in the strength of knee muscles in all three groups and resistive exercise with vibration stimuli he group showed a better result in all area than the other two groups. Comparisons of sway distances with open and closed eyes showed a statistically significant decrease before and after treatment in all three groups, there was no statistically significant difference between groups. There was a significant difference only in the sway distance with the eyes closed. Conclusions: Applying the resistive exercise with vibration stimuli as a therapeutic exercise program resulted in a positive effect to the functional activity not only in rapidly recovering the strength the weaken muscles and lost of balance ability, but also expecting an earlier return to daily life by advancing the date of the process for the functional activity.
네발기기 운동시 체중이동 거리에 따른 몸통근육의 근활성도 비교

Background: Exercise in the quadruped position is performed to improve body and shoulder stability. This study examined the muscle activity of the trunk muscles according to the distance of the weight shift when lifting one leg in the quadruped position. Methods: Ten healthy 20 to 40 years old males were tested as subjects. All subjects moved their body weight to 0, 5, and 10cm on the opposite side of the leg lifter while maintaining the quadruped position. The surface electrodes recorded the electromyography data during the one leg lifting. Results: As the weight shift distance was increased, there was a significant difference in muscle activity of both serratus anterior, multifidus and internal oblique muscles (p<.05). Left and right serratus anterior and right internal oblique were most activated when weight shift distance was 0cm (p<.05). Conclusion: Shoulder and lumbar stabilization exercises should be applied in the absence of a weight shift distance during quadruped exercise.

The size of crystallites in mono-dispersed cubic silver bromide grains was measured by applying a powder X-ray diffraction method and Scherrer's equation to grains that were suspended in swollen gelatin layers. In order to evaluate the existence of defects, the measured crystallite size was compared to those measured by using a scanning electron microscope. In the case of the grains prepared by the controlled double jet method, the size of crystallites was equal to the edge length of the grains that had edge lengths smaller than 400 nm. This result proved the usefulness of the above-stated method for measuring the size of crystallites and also evaluating the presence of any crystal defect in each grain. In the case of the grains, which were precipitated in the presence of a sensitizing dye and potassium iodide, the size of crystallites was smaller than the edge's length, indicating the discontinuities in the grains introduced during the precipitation process.
대형마트의 조명 및 냉방 에너지 분석 및 에너지 절감 연구

This study analyzes the current and after retrofit energy consumption of lighting and cooling system of a superstore in Seoul. Energy consumption data were measured and collected with a measurement system. Annual energy consumption was calculated using TRNSYS program. After replacing lighting and chiller with higher efficiencies, annual TOE consumption decreased from 1,066 before retrofit to 832 after retrofit, saving 234 TOE (22%) in total. Similarly, total annual TCO₂ consumption decreased from 2,214 to 1,721, reducing 493 TCO₂ (22%) during this pilot study.
전방십자인대 재건술 환자의 운동프로그램 참여 시기에 따른 등척성 근기능 비교

Purpose:This study is to investigate difference in the isometric muscular function of knee joints according to the time of participation in rehabilitation exercise in patients who had anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Methods:The subjects of this study were patients by sports injury or accident in the sports rehabilitation center of G hospital. The early exercise program group (n=7) started functional ability exercise from 2 weeks after the surgery and the late exercise program group (n=7) from 6 weeks after the surgery. Statistical analysis was used repeated measure ANOVA to test mean difference by using SPSS 18.0 for windows. Results:First, as to quadriceps femoris muscle according to the time of participation in exercise program, significant difference was observed according to interaction and time. Second, as to hamstring muscle according to the time of participation in exercise program, significant difference was observed in muscle strength according to time. Conclusion:This results suggest that if the effect of exercise program is similar between the early starting group and the late starting group, it is not necessary to have a long period of fixation as in the late exercise program group but is desirable to start functional ability exercise early in order to relieve pains in the knee joints.

본 연구의 목적은 무릎관절 전치환술을 시행한 여성 환자에게 슬링 운동을 적용하여 무릎관절의 근력과 관절가동범 위에 미치는 영향을 비교하기 위해 실시하였다. 참여자는 2그룹 나누어 슬링 운동군 15명, 대조군 15명으로 무작위로 배정하 였다. 대상자들은 근력 검사를 위해 Biodex system를, 관절가동범위 검사를 위해 각도기를 사용하여 평가하였다. 데이터의 분석은 통계적 유의 수준을 결정하기 위해서 대응표본 t-검정과 독립 t-검정을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과 슬링 운동군은 중재 전후 굽힘 각, 넙다리네갈래근, 뒤넙다리근 근력이 통계학적으로 유의한 증가를 보였고, 대조군은 중재 전후 굽힘 각, 폄 각, 넙다리네갈래근, 뒤넙다리근 근력이 통계학적으로 유의한 증가를 보였다. 무릎관절 근력과 굴곡 관절 가동범위는 슬링 운동군이 대조군에 비해 통계학적으로 유의하게 증가하였다. 슬링 운동법이 무릎관절 전치환술 환자의 근력과 관절 가동범 위에서 긍정적인 영향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of study was to compare the effectiveness of sling exercise on the muscle strength and range of motion in female patients who received a total knee replacement. The participants were allocated randomly into 2 groups: sling exercise group (n=15) and control group (n=15). The subjects were evaluated using the Biodex system for the muscle strength test and a goniometer for the range of motion test. The data was analyzed using a paired t-test and independent t-test to determine the statistical significance. As a result, the sling exercise group before and after intervention showed a statistical significance difference in the flexion angle, quadriceps femoris, and hamstring muscle strength. The control group before and after the intervention revealed a statistically significant increase in the flexion & extension angle, quadriceps femoris, and hamstring muscle strength. Muscle strength test and flexion range of motion test in the sling exercise group showed statistical significance differences compared to the control group (p<.05). Therefore, the sling exercise group has a positive influence on the muscle strength and ROM in patients with a total knee replacement.
The Strain Rate Dependence of Tensile Test Temperature and Composition in Al-Mg Alloy

극저온에서 Al-Mg 2원 합금의 기계적 특성을 명확히 하기 위하여 77 K에서 Al-4.1 및 4.6 at%Mg 합금의 인장시험을 수행하였다. 기계적 특성의 온도 의존성을 조사하기 위하여 293 K에서도 시험을 진행하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 온도가 감소함에 따라 최종 인장강도와 0.2% 내력이 모두 증가하였다. 온도가 감소함에 따라 최종 인장강도의 증가는 0.2% 내력이 증가한 것 보다 컸다. 연신율은 293 K보다 77 K에서 더 크게 나타났는데, 이 2가지 결과는 77 K에서 가공경화 지수가 증가했기 때문으로 판단된다. 77 K와 293 K에서 마그네슘 함량을 증가시키고 결정립 크기를 작게 할수록 강도는 증가하였다. 77 K에서는 변형률 속도를 증가시킬수록 강도는 증가하였다. 그러나 293 K에서는 강도의 변형률 속도 의존성이 명확하게 나타나지 않았다. 이것은 이 합금계가 온도에 대한 강도의 역의존성에 의한 것으로 판단하였다. To clarify the mechanical properties of Al-Mg binary alloy under cryogenic temperature, tensile tests of Al-4.1 and 4.6 at%Mg alloys were performed at 77 K. The tests were also carried out at 293 K in order to investigate the temperature dependence of the mechanical properties. The results obtained were as follows. Both the ultimate tensile strength and the 0.2% proof stress increased with the decreasing temperature. The increment of ultimate tensile strength was larger than that of 0.2% proof stress as the temperature decreased. The elongation was larger at 77 K than at 293 K. These two results were considered to be that of the increased work hardening exponent at 77 K. The strength increased by increasing the magnesium content and decreasing the grain size at 77 K and 293 K. At 77 K, the strength increased when strain rate was increased. The strain rate dependence of strength, however, was not clear at 293 K. It was considered to be due to the reverse strength dependence on temperature of this alloy.
