2016년 경주지진파의 특성 : 지진파예측모델들과의 비교

2016년 9월 12일 경주 남남서쪽에서 발생한 규모 5.8의 경주지진은 계측을 시작한 이래 한국에서 발생한 최고 규모의 지진으로, 규모 5.1의 전진과 4.5의 여진을 비롯해 수많은 지진을 동반했다. 이 연구에서는 미국의 NGA-West2 등의 다양한 지진파예측모델을 이용해 경주지진파의 특성을 다각도로 비교 분석하였다. 또한 여진예측모델을 통해 본진과 전진 또는 본진과 여진과의 상관관계를 분석했다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서는 수직지진파와 수평지진파의 상관관계를 분석했다. 분석 결과, 경주지진은 주로 단주기에서 높은 가속도 값을 가지고, 0.1초 이후에는 예측모델들 보다 급격한 감쇄현상을 보인다. 전체적으로 활성단층지역으로 만들어진 NGA-West2 모델과 경주지진을 포함하지 않은 한국형 지진파예측모델을 비교했을 때 경주지진의 지진파와 큰 차이가 나타났다. 이는 한국형 지진파예측모델의 개발이 필요함을 시사한다. The local magnitude 5.8 earthquake occurred with a foreshock with magnitude 5.1 and aftershocks with magnitudes of 4.5 and smaller. The main shock was the largest earthquake in Korea since 1978 when the modern instrumental recording began. The ground motions measured during the mainshock, foreshock, aftershocks of the 2016 Gyeongju earthquake are compared with those estimated by the NGA-W2 ground motion prediction equations (GMPEs) for the active crustal regions and the GMPE developed for Korea. Furthermore, ratios between spectral accelerations of the mainshock and foreshock and aftershock events, as well as ratios of vertical to horizontal ground motions are compared with various prediction models. Through the detailed comparison study, it is found that the ground motions by the Gyeongju earthquake are incredibly larger than any other prediction models at short periods and smaller than the predictions at period longer than 0.1s. Therefore, we concluded that development of new Korea GMPEs is necessary to prepare against earthquake risks in Korea.

To investigate the maternal and child factors associated with early detection of cerebral palsy, 74 mothers of cerebral palsy children who were born since January 1, 1980 and being treated at Taegu Rehabilitation Center for the Handicapped, Rehabilitation Center of Taegu University, St.Paul Children`s House and Pusan Welfare Association of Cerebral Palsy Children were interviewed from February to April 1987. There is no association between age of child when parents noticed the child`s abnormality and educa-tional level of father but it tend to be detected earlier when educational level of mother is college or above compared with high school or under. There is a trend of earlier detection of child`s abnormality although statistlcal ly not significant in case father is professional or managerial worker, monthly income of father is over ㅁ61O, 000, child is first-born, age of the parents is 34 years or under, child is a boy, and child has periodic well-baby check-up. The child`s abnormality is detected earlier when mothers had 7 prenatal visits or more compared with those who had 6 visits or less (p<0.05). Parents noticed the child`s abnormality first in 85.1 % of the cases whereas doctors detected it first in 2.7% and this percentage was not different whether the child had periodic well-baby check-up Or not. The first physician`s diagnosis of the children was cerebral palsy in 36.5% and the rest was normal, need for observation, uncertain, etc. Parents took the child to doctor for diagnosis 2-3 months after they noticed the child`s abnormality and after the child was diagnosed as cerebral palsy parents either took no therapeutic measure or brought the child to physiotherapy or acupuncture or gave herb medicine before they started specific rehabilitative therapy. For early detection of the cerebral palsy children, teaching of evaluation method for child development should be reinforced both in medical school and clinical training course and should train the specialist for diagnosis and treatment of crippling conditions. Also, public education is needed for the importance -of early detection of crippling conditions and currently available methods for diagnosis and treatment.

Korea and China have a similar agricultural background and they have an analogical culture and custom of food. In addition, they are located close. Thus, their agricultural sectors easily have effected each other. The purpose of this study is to review the history and situation of Chinese agribusiness, to analyze the status of Chinese investing policy which is varied after China joining in WTO, and to suggest the ways that Korean companies can successfully invest in the Chinese agribusiness sector. In addition, we explore the cases that foreign companies in Hongkong invest in the Chinese agribusiness sector. Korean companies must have a special knowledge about Chinese laws and custom of business. They also have to make a good partners who help their business. Second, before Korean companies investing in the Chinese agribusiness sector, they must carefully choice investing items. These items have to satisfy several conditions, accessing to international market as well as Chinese market and that politic assistance of Chines government is rendered. Third, when Korean companies invest in the Chinese agribusiness sector, the scale of invest would better not be large. In addition, Korean companies have to make a joint-venture company in China and build vertical integration.

A study was performed to investigate the effect of electrical stimulation on disused rat soleus muscle, of male rat. The animal`s hindlimbs were immobilized 4weeks by plaster of paris, and stimulated with E. S. T for 4weeks(20mim/day) The changes on soleus were examined with histochemical, histological, and morphometric method. The results are summarized as follows. 1. Disued atrophy group from immobilization, which margin of sarcolemma and myofibril in sarcoplasm were not cleared, also degenerated from necrosis with phagocytosis. 2. The numbers of nuclear were much increased and accumulation of nuclear were finded, and relatively muscular atrophic changed. 3. Increased inflammatory cyte, also finded neutrophil and macrophage. 4. Relatively atrophic changed from severe fibrosis by incleased connectivetissue. 5. The glycogen granules were much decreased in E. S. T group. It means that electrical stimulation effected the muscle exercise. 6. The activity of the NADH-TR reaction of E. S. T. Tgroup were white muscle group are transformed into red muscle fiber than normal group. 7. These results indicate that the electrical stimulation effected to soleus also prevention and delayed muscular atrophy.
