It has been very significant for car manufacturers to develop the quality assurance technology because of the application of PL(Product Liability). In the present study, during the nut resistance projection welding the current and voltage signal could be monitored to evaluate the welding quality. At the same time, dynamic resistance pattern could be obtained by the application of Ohm's law. Appling the dynamic resistance slopes to be defined as the differencial of the dynamic resistance by the proper time, process unstable factors such as initial contact, initial heat input and force followability could be evaluated. And the square sum of welding voltage and the end resistance could be used to evaluate total heat input and nugget growth. By setting up the algorithm to evaluate the various unstable conditions, the Expert System could be developed for the quality monitoring of the nut projection welding(M8)
브레이크 디스크 형상에 따른 대류열전달에 의한 방열성능 연구

This research is to numerically investigate the convective cooling performance in the Disk brake. Research concentrates on the heat transfer coefficient and cooling performance which are selected with cooling local locations. Cooling performance of the Hole disk has been compared by Ventilated Disk. According to the results of heat transfer on the disk brake, activated velocity distributions more appear in the Hole disk. This is due to the fact that a number of hole units have exactly 120 on the surface of the hole disk. Therefore, velocity distributions of hole disk brake is better activated than Ventilated disk. According to the calculations of Nusselt number between surface and atmosphere in the interested cooling area, average value of cooling effect has been increased 13.5% by the hole disk at driving of speed 65 ㎞/h situation and grown 18% by the hole disk at driving speed of 100 ㎞/h. Due to the flow of air through the hole route, cooling performance of the hole disk was very excellent. In addition, cooling effect on edge of the bottom is better than the vicinity of center.

As the society is superaging, the number of patients with movement disabilities due to musculoskeletal or nervous system illness is rapidly increasing. To improve public health and reduce medical expenses, it is essential to develop rehabilitation systems that allow patients to resume their daily-life activities. However, the existing musculoskeletal illness diagnosis and rehabilitation method is limited in terms of precision and efficiency because it is based on an empirical diagnosis and prescription without regard for individual characteristics. To overcome these limits, it is critical to design a novel concept of routine rehabilitation therapy device that is capable of inducing musculoskeletal balance by the precise analysis of musculoskeletal usage patterns via the motion and the muscle activity tracking of linked muscles. This study introduces the trend of on-skin sensor device technology for routine musculoskeletal monitoring and therapy. For on-skin rehabilitation systems, skin-adhesive and stretchable motion/posture, electromyography, pressure sensors, small-size and low-power wireless sensor interfaces, and user-friendly rehabilitation contents based on new algorithms are combined.

Recently, many enterprises are introducing EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) technologies for integrating heterogeneous enterprise information systems. Among EAI levels, data-level integration is relatively straightforward and most popular. However, current commercial solutions have complex functionalities and are expensive for implementing the data integration tasks. Also, they have their own proprietary architectures and have a restricted interoperability. Proposed in this paper is the development of data integration middleware for facilitating data exchanges between the heterogeneous information systems. The main feature of this middle ware is a explicit mapping of meta data about the relationships between source and target data. Based on this mapping, users who do not have expertise in information technology at the small & medium enterprises can easily handle data exchange tasks between information systems.

In this paper a method for the design optimization for helicopter rotor blade in hover is studied. Numerical analysis of aerodynamic characteristics of the flow around a rotor blade is analysed by usign panel method and CFD code based on Navier-Stokes equation. The result is validated by comparing with existing experimental result. Optimization methods RSM(Response Surface Method) and DOE(Design of Experiments) are applied in combination. The object functions are power, twist angle, taper ratio, and thrust. The optimized result showed a decrease of 17% of the power required.

This paper dealt with the flow simulation for the optimum designed propeller for Micro Aerial Vehicle, using a commercial CFD program(FLUENT). The propeller was modeled by the Multiple Reference Frame(MRF) method. For the validation of the computational method, the flow field analysis results for the propeller were compared with the flow analysis results, which are using Xfoil, for the optimum design, and with the wind tunnel data of a similar propeller model. By these validation processes, the reliability of MRF method was confirmed.
