As more people continue to use smartphones, the possibility of smartphone addiction becoming a serious social issue is increasing. Regarding the fact that the most differentiated function of smartphones compared to the existing cell phones is the use of various applications, the focus of this study is to examine the smartphone addiction phenomenon in connection with application types and its usage. The results of research on university students who use smartphones are as follows: First, smartphone addiction has four subordinate concepts?anxiety or restlessness, habitual usage, obsession or compulsion, and inability to function in everyday life. Second, the smartphone application types that university students use the most are first for kakaotalk, second, searching the internet, and last, listening to music. The application that exerts the most influence in leading people to smartphone addiction is SNS, such as Facebook and Twitter. This study also shows that games and video viewing applications also lead to smartphone addiction. These results suggest that the smartphone addiction phenomenon is different from internet addiction, which is centered on mass media, and is more in relation with the addictive use of personal relationship-oriented applications like SNS that maximizes networking and the degree of interaction, or entertainment style applications that seek fun like games and watching videos.

아내들의 휴대전화 이용이 남편과의 의사소통 및 친밀감, 평등성 인식에 미치는 영향

휴대전화를 사용하는 아내들을 대상으로 휴대전화를 통한 남편과의 음성통화, 문자메시지 이용이 남편과의 의사소통 방식과 남편과의 관계에 미치는 영향을 분석했다. 연구 결과 아내들은 휴대전화 사용 이후 남편과의 의사소통 방식에 변화가 있다고 밝혔는데, 구체적으로 남편과의 대화가 증가하고 대화의 소재도 다양해진 반면, 휴대전화 사용 이후 남편과 직접 얼굴을 맞대고 대화하는 경우는 줄어든 것으로 나타났다. 또한 아내들의 휴대전화 이용은 남편과의 친밀감 형성에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났는데, 휴대전화의 음성통화, 문자메시지 사용으로 인한 커뮤니케이션의 활성화가 부부간 의사소통의 기회를 증가시켜 결국 남편과의 친밀감을 강화하는 것으로 조사되었다. 나아가 아내들의 휴대전화 이용은 부부간(남편과의) 평등성 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 휴대전화 사용 이후 아내들은 남편과 평등하게 의사결정에 참여하는 것으로 인식하고 있었으며, 남편, 아내 간의 엄격한 역할 구분이 많이 약화되었다고 느끼는 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 종합해볼 때 아내에게 휴대전화는 남편과의 관계를 매개하는 수단으로서 남편과의 의사소통을 증가시키고, 남편과의 친밀감을 강화시키는 도구로 활용되고 있으며, 나아가 남편과의 불평등을 해소시키는 기제로 작용하고 있음을 유추해볼 수 있다. The purpose of the study was to investigate the impact of wives’ mobile phone use on intimacy, communication and perception of equality with their husbands. The survey was performed with 294 wives and the finding were as follows. First, the wives reported that since they used mobile phones, they had more chances to communicate with their husband, with a variety topic of communication, however, the face-to-face conversation with their husbands decreased. Second, the wives felt their intimacy with their husbands increased after using the mobile phone. Moreover, their mobile phone use had a positive effect on perception on equalization with their husbands, indicating that mobile conversation provided more opportunities wives to participate in decision making process and the role difference between couples has been diminished. These findings imply that mobile phone had positive effects on married couple lives: it played an important role as a communication tool increasing intimacy and gender equalizer decreasing gender inequality.

무도장 자동차 내장부품 C/Pad에서의 감성은 soft touch감, 압축시 반발감, 접촉시 끈끈함, 접촉시 냉온감 등 주로 촉감에서 느껴지는 것들이 주된 요소인데, 이중에서 “soft touch감”이 가장 중요한 요소로 자동차의 고급화를 추진하기위한 소비자를 만족시켜야하는 현실적인 문제로 대두되고 있다. 자동차내장 부품에 적용되는 PP(폴리프로필렌)계 복합수지 낮은 가격 대비 뛰어난 기계적 물성과 경량 소재라는 특성 때문에 나일론, PC/ABS, PBT등의 대체 재료로 각광 받고 있으나, 낮은 충격강도, 낮은 내열성, 취약한 내스크래치성등의 문제가 항상 지적되어 왔으며, 이런 문제를 극복하기 위해 일부 내장 부품을 도장하거나, 무기물 충진재와 Rubber를 사용하여 내열성과 충격성을 향상시키는 것이 종래에 기술이었다. 그러나 도장 공정 사용되는 유기용매로 인해 휘발성 물질이 방출되는 문제점으로 강화되고 있는 환경규제에 노출되어 있으며, 무기물 충진재의 첨가로 스크래치, 질감의 문제로 감성을 중요시 하고 있다. 이에 따라 무도장 자동차 내장 부품에 친환경 고감성 플라스틱 부품의 개발이 시급한 문제로 대두 되고 있다.

디지털 탄막 이용과 이용자들의 지각된 상호작용, 시청 몰입감 및 시청 만족감에 관한 탐색적 연구

The purpose of this study was to carry out an empirical examination to assess whether using danmu while watching video content affects users perceptions on perceived interactivity, viewing engagement, and viewing satisfaction. The simple linear regression results showed that the use of danmu had a significant positive effect on respondents viewing engagement and viewing satisfaction, users perceived interactivity while watching programmes with danmu was also shown significant. The results of this study can be regraded as basic data for traditional television to understand a new viewing environment, provide clues to explore the effects of digital technology combined with different video content. The study also presented the need for further development and applicability of digital technology functions, including danmu.

The purpose of this study was to examine in detail how each users self-expression in SNS is affected by fatigue according to whether users move between open and closed types due to SNS fatigue. As a result, it was found out that effect of fatigue variables on self-expression was also distinct for different types of users. This study is of great value in suggesting the possibility that SNS can shape different perceptions and user behaviors by creating different settings and online environments with their particular structures.

중국 대학생의 SNS 이용이 꽌시(關係) 형성에 미치는 영향

This study aims to examine Chinese users motives for using SNS and to find out how usage behaviors and interaction factors affect Quanxi. Specifically, how motivations for using SNS, using behaviors, and interaction factors affect the formation of Guanxi was investigated. The factor analysis, revealed six dimensions of SNS use motivatioins; self-expression, information acquisition, entertainment and leisure, learning, social interaction, and escapism. It has been confirmed that among the motivations self-expression, information acquisition and escapism, among the using behaviors writing comments, and among the interaction factors perceived intimacy predicted the formation Guanxi. The study is significant in that it identified how SNS affects peoples interpersonal relationship in the absence of face-to-face contact due to COVID-19.

미디어 레퍼토리 유형에 따른 지역사회자본과 사회정치참여에 관한 연구

This study sets its research scope in Jeju Island, a very distinct community, in order to find the characteristics of media repertoire and confirm the effects that these characteristics have on socio-political participation. By utilizing seven types of national, local and private media usage time, the non-hierarchial grouping method, K-means was used to extract the media repertoire in this study. Based on the results, six groups of media repertoire were determined based on the degree of distribution along with the finalized core of usage of media. The groups were divided into ‘newspaper based’, ‘daily local newspaper based’, ‘cellular phone and internet based’, ‘multi-media based’, ‘regional TV broadcasting based’ and ‘radio broadcasting based’. Through the study of a limited area such as Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, local newspaper and local TV broadcasting based groups were newly deducted; wherein the media repertory of Seoul or South Korea, such results were impossible. Also, depending on the type of multimedia used by each group, a significant difference was evident within the regional community spirit factor in a community social capital. There was also a significant difference between the amount of communication between neighbors, attachment to the community and trust within the establishment. The results also showed significant difference in off-line political participation, but there was no statistically significant difference in on-line political participation.

Predicting that the numbers provided in the online news interface can play a key role in generating users emotional responses, this study aims to explore whether the numbers in the online news environment generate the anchoring effect that induces the emotional difference of users in the process of consuming content. Specifically, using LIWC program, the effects of numerical cues revealed in online news interfaces on the emotionality of news content, news evaluation, and behavioral intentions felt by news users were examined. As a result of the study, there was a direct effect of the size of the numerical anchor on the evaluation of news content and behavioral intention, but no direct effect on emotional response. In addition, the effect of the number was different according to the degree of involvement and use of the technical characteristics of the interface. This study is meaningful in that it explores the role of numerical cues with various meanings on the interpretation of users’ information in the online space.
