First successful removal of pituitary tumor via the transsphenoidal approach was reported in 1907. Even though the admittable benefits of this approach based on direct and short extracranial route to sellar region, its clinical application came up against wall due to higher morbidity and mortality rates. But this approach had been used and developed continuously by a large numbers of named neurosurgeons. With the development of antibiotic drugs and modern microinstrumentation, transsphenoidal approach is the preferred approach for lesions confined to the sellar turcica and parasellar regions, and in some cases lesions of clibus as well. The routes of access for the transsphenoidal approach are sublabial transseptal, endonasal submucosal transseptal, direct endonasal with septal pushover, and endonasal endoscopic. Recently efforts have been made to use frameless stereotaxy, real-time intraoperative imaging, and the endoscope to improve effectiveness of the approach with minimal morbidities. Transsphenoidal surgery seems to be a reasonably safe procedure, with a mortality rate of less than 1%. However, a significant number of complications do occur, especially performed by less experienced surgeons. In hope of being better understood of this procedure the author has reviewed related literatures, and presents the history, the technique, the complications, and the modern evolution of transsphenoidal approach.
탄소섬유길이 및 혼입량에 따른 폴리우레아 도막방수재의 인장성능 변화 연구

Despite its excellent properties, polyurea coating waterproofing material is exposed to sunlight when it is applied to the exterior wall of concrete by exposed waterproofing method such as a roof of a building, resulting in a problem of causing a large deterioration in performance compared to initial properties. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of carbon fiber incorporation on the performance of carbon fiber - reinforced polyureas and to study the optimum carbon fiber length and content respectively. Result of the study confirmed that the performance of the carbon fiber was improved by 2% or more, and the carbon fiber length was 30 ㎛ and the mixing ratio was 3%. It is expected that stable durability can be secured when manufacturing fiber-incorporated polyureas.
건설방수산업분야에서의 유효자원 재활용 및 응용 기술 현황

본 연구는 건설방수분야의 유효자원 재활용 현황에 대하여 시장 특성 상 정확한 파악이 어려운 점을 고려하여 이에 대한 대안으로 관련 제도 및 인증을 중심으로 조사하여 분석하는 방식으로 연구를 진행하였다. 조사 대상은 건설방수분야에서 획득 가능한 유효자원 재활용 관련 인증으로 선정하였으며, 환경표지, 녹색기술, 신기술을 중심으로 현황을 파악하고 분석하였다. 현황 파악 및 분석 결과, 환경표지의 경우 총 38개 제품이 유효자원 재활용을 사유로 인증을 획득하였으며, 녹색인증은 총 10개, 신기술의 경우, 8개 기술이 유효자원 재활용을 응용한 기술로 확인되었다. 재활용된 자원은 대부분 합성고분자계(EVA, PVC 등), 폐타이어 분말, 폐고무 등이 주를 이루고 있음에 따라 건설방수분야에서의 유효자원 재활용은 전반적으로 소재의 다양성에 있어 제한적인 것으로 확인되었다. This paper intends to analyze the roles of regulations and certifications within the construction market that affect the effective recycling and application methods of construction waterproofing industries. Certifications, eco-labels, green certification patents, and new excellent technologies obtained in construction waterproofing industries are studied. In accordance to the study results, it was determined that, a total of 38 items obtained eco-labels with effective recycling as the theme, 10 items with green certifications, and 8 items with New Excellent Technologies. Regarding the types of effective recycled resources, most of them were concerned with composite-polymer(EVA, PVC, etc.) materials, waste tire powder, waste rubber, etc., which indicated that there is a clear limitation in the variety of the materials that are eligible for effective recycling in the construction waterproofing industries.

In this stduy, we will references to provide reasonable basis for the test environments applicable to the chemical resistance test covered by KS F 4935『Injection-type Sealing Materials for Water Leakage Crack of Adhesive and Flexible Rubber Asphalt』, analyze the problems with the current test methods in consideration of the features of materials. As a result, we assured more objective data in improved chemical resistance test methods.
폴리우레아 방수재의 탄소섬유함량에 따른 내열성능 변화추이 연구

This study investigates the effect of improving the heat resistance performance when carbon fiber is mixed in the polyurea coating material. A tensile strength test method was carried out with the carbon fiber mixed polyurea specimens at an interval of 7, 14, and 21 days after heat treatment at 140±2℃. The test results showed that there was a significant decrease in the tensile strength performance. While the elongation and tensile performance decreased greatly, it was confirmed nevertheless the overall performance was maintained. This study proposes that mixing carbon fiber to the polyurea resin can effectively secure long-term heat resistance, thereby solving the problem of deterioration of physical properties caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays.
학교안전사고로서의 교통사고 발생원인 및 개선방안에 관한 질적 연구 -어린이보호구역과 학교 내 교통사고를 중심으로-

이 연구는 어린이보호구역과 학교 내 교통사고의 발생 원인을 살펴보고, 그 결과를 바탕으 로 개선방안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 사고 관계자와 전문가에 대한 심층면 담을 실시하였다. 연구결과 교통안전시설 개선과 같은 물리적 환경의 개선도 중요하지만 사 회적 요인(안전활동 시스템, 규제, 법령 등)에 대한 개선도 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구 의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어린이보호구역에서 발생하는 교통사고의 경우 어린이보호구역 의 제한속도와 간선도로의 제한속도에 차이가 발생하고 있음에도 이를 제도적으로 개선하지 못하고 있고, 학교 내 교통사고의 경우에도 교통법상 사각지대로 남아 있음에도 이를 적극적 으로 해결하고자 하는 입법노력이 미흡함을 확인할 수 있었는데, 이에 대한 개선이 필요하다. 둘째, 어린이보호구역에서의 교통사고를 저감하기 위해서는 전문가들이 엄격한 단속을 주문 하고 있음에도 실제로 단속은 잘 이루어지지 않고 있었다. 그 이유가 학생들의 안전과 주민 들의 생계유지가 충돌하는 경우 확고하게 학생들의 안전에 행정력을 투입하지 못하는 현실을 확인할 수 있었는데, 교통안전 전문가들의 견해와 같이 엄격한 단속이 이루어질 필요가 있다. 셋째, 학교 안팎의 교통사고를 저감하기 위해서는 보차분리가 이루어져야 한다. 이를 위해서 는 많은 예산이 투입되어야 함에도 다른 예산과 비교하여 우선순위에 밀려 제대로 예산투자 가 되지 않는 경우가 있는데, 안전예산은 별도로 확보되도록 관계규정을 개선할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study is to look into the causes of traffic accidents in school zone and in school, and thereby to propose improvement. To achieve that, this researcher had in-depth interviews with those concerned with accidents and experts. As a result, it was found that it important to improve not only physical environments like traffic safety facilities, but social elements (e.g., safety activity system, regulations, laws). The result of this study is as follows: First, in the case of traffic accident occurring in school zone, although there is a difference in limited speed between school zone and main road, the issue has yet to be improved institutionally. In the case of traffic accident in school, there are still blind spots in terms of Road Traffic Act, there is a lack of legislative efforts to solve the problem actively. Therefore, it is necessary to make improvements. Secondly, experts called for strict crackdowns to reduce traffic accidents in school zone, but the crackdowns are not executed well. That is because realistically administrative action is not applied firmly for students' safety when resident's maintenance of livelihood is in conflict with students' safety. As viewed by experts on traffic safety, it is necessary to execute strict crackdowns. Thirdly, to reduce traffic accidents in and out of school, it is necessary to make separation of pedestrian and vehicle. To do that, a lot of budget is required to be invested. However, such a plan for safety is pushed back on the investment priority list, and a proper budget is not provided. Therefore, it is needed to improve relevant rules to secure safety budget separately.
아스팔트 매스틱 도막재와 우레탄계 도막재 간 상용성 평가 연구 -내피로 성능 중심으로-

In this study, to confirm the performance of gel type urethane (hereinafter referred to as urethane gel) developed for the purpose of securing waterproof stability after application by increasing compatibility with asphalt mastic film material, general urethane coating material and adhesion. As a result, gel type urethane showed “all right” in fatigue resistance test.
