2005 직지상 시상식을 기념하는 지난 9월4일 '흥덕사지 발굴의 회고와 전망'이라는 주제로 청주고인쇄박물관 세미나실에서 개최됐다. 청주시와 청주고인쇄박물관, 청주대학교 박물관이 공동 주최한 이날 학술회의는 이엽 청주대학교 교수의 사회로 토론이 진행됐다. 이날 학술회의에서는 김영진(흥덕사지 발굴단장) 청주대 명예교수의 기조강연과 흥덕사지의 발견과 주변유적(차용걸.충북대교수), 흥덕사지와 출토유물의 문화재적 가치(박상일.청주대박물관 학예연구실장), 흥덕사의 복원과 주변의 정비(김태영.청주대교수), 세계기록유산 '직지'와 청주고인쇄박물관의 위상(박문열.청주대교수),직지와 나(박병선.재불한국학자), 청주고인쇄박물관의 발전과제(이춘근 문화재청 사적명승국장.허권 유네스코한국위원회 문화팀장.황재봉 청주시의회 운영총무위원장)에 대해 주제발표가 이루어졌다. 다음은 박병선 박사의 발표 내용이다.

In this paper, we designed and implemented the security network NVR system that can flexibly use the internal network and VPN network. In general, the NVR systems that only use internal networks cannot be access from the outside, which has the disadvantage of unnecessary inspections and inability to access from the outside. External access has made possible using the VPN security network, and a NVR system software was designed and implemented so that the existing internal network could be used. We compared with the NVR system usage environment in the internal network through the client and the NVR system. It also has implemented usage environment with the VPN network through the mobile APP, and confirmed that the same NVR was operating normally with the same functions. We also studied on IP based NVR for flexible access with closed loop network based on VPN system.

Objective : This study investigated the temperament and character traits associated with suicide attempts in patients with mood disorders. Methods : The temperament and character inventory (TCI) was administered to 150 patients who visited psychiatric clinics seeking treatment for mood symptoms. The patients were divided into three groups as follows : non-suicide ideation, suicide ideation and suicide attempt. We also gathered socio-economic data in order to rule out confounding variables. MANOVA was performed to analyze differences in personal temperament and character scores on the TCI between the three groups. Results : The self-directedness and cooperativeness subscales of the TCI are most influenced by the clinical symptoms rated by Beck Suicide Ideation Scale and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale. In the temperament scale, the suicide attempt group scored higher on the novelty seeking and harm avoidance items than the other two groups. The specific temperaments associated with suicidal behavior in patients with depression are impulsivity (NS2) and anticipatory anxiety or pessimism (HA1). Conclusion : In this study, we found that more risky patients who had previously attempted suicide had a temperament of impulsivity or pessimism. This finding suggests that a more cautious approach is needed to assess mood disorder patients with impulsive or pessimistic temperaments in order to prevent suicide attempts.

현존 세계 최고의 금속활자본 직지심체요절을 발견하여 세상의 빛을 보게 하고 한국을 인쇄종주국으로 인정받게 한 박병선 박사가 최근 청주고인쇄박물관의 지원을 받아 ‘한국의 인쇄’라는 고인쇄 연구 책자를 발간했다. 이 책에는 고대부터 근대에 이르는 인쇄의 역사가 일목요연하게 정리되어 있다. 본지에서는 본 책자 부록편에 실려있는 제본의 역사 분야를 발췌 보도한다.
Hard Mask의 종류 및 높이가 Glass Microfluidic Chip 제작에 미치는 영향

This paper compares the effects of a poly silicon mask and a chrome mask on the fabrication of a glass microfluidic chip. Although a poly-dimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is frequently used for a microfluidic chip due to an easy fabrication method and the replication of a chip by molding, there are many restrictions for wide applications because of the hydrophobic surface properties of PDMS. In contrast, a glass chip has a superior surface properties for a variety of biochemical analyses despite a complicated fabrication processes. Generally, a glass chip is fabricated by using wet etching process which uses buffered oxide etchant (BOE) to etch a glass substrate after making a pattern onto a glass wafer. We fabricate a glass microfluidic chip and examine the channel surface quality using different materials and height of hard masks. Poly silicon and chrome with different heights are deposited onto glass wafers. After making a microchannel pattern, we wet-etch the glass wafers, and examine channel surface quality using microscope. The results indicate that a poly-silicon hard mask leads to a smooth channel surfaces compared to a chrome mask despite a little complicated fabrication method.

In this paper, we propose the horizontal line detection using the Haar-like features and linear regression in infrared images. In the marine environment horizon image is very useful information on a variety of systems. In the proposed method Haar-like features it was noted that the standard deviation be calculated in real time on a static area. Based on the pixel position, calculating the standard deviation of the around area in real time and, if the reaction is to filter out the largest pixel can get the energy map of the area containing the straight horizontal line. In order to select a horizontal line of pixels from the energy map, we applied the linear regression, calculating a linear fit to the transverse horizontal line across the image to select the candidate optimal horizontal. The proposed method was carried out in a horizontal line detecting real infrared image experiment for day and night, it was confirmed the excellent detection results than the legacy methods.
